The park was pretty empty off-season, but super well maintained, very clean. People working there were helpful and friendly. Huge dog walk area. Lots of restaurants and the beach nearby. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest parks in the States! Don't follow your Garmin RV GPS :) Very professional run park, admitting staff very pleasant, we were guided to our site, nice touch. The park is very clean, very very wide sites, it was a breeze to get my 41 foot backed in with lots of room. Wifi is very good, we stayed on site 822. Would highly recommend this park to anyone for short or longer stays. We were also only 10 minutes from the beach. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a top notch park. The campsites are owned privately and the office rents them out for the owners. This is a very well laid out campground in a handy location to shopping and the beach. I could found no faults with this place. Large heated pool, great laundry facilities, clean showers and restrooms. The sites are level, large and all paved will nice landscaping. I did notice some of the sites had the utilities on the other side for motor homes to pull straight in. This is a great place to stay. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a security gate! If you leave the park, take the security code with you. We did not know this and came back at midnight after attending the Grand Master's visitation banquet. We did not have our code and no one answered the after hours number. Other than that, this is a premier Florida park. Palm trees, paved roads, concrete sites with paver patios - sites are huge, separated by palm trees! Water pressure, electric (with surge protector), DirecTv satellite, cable, Sprint cell service all worked fine. The sewer dump was a bit far, we had to use our extra long sewer hose. There are sites with either driver side or passenger side hook ups. All sites are back-in, no pull thru at all. Some of the sites are owner owned with an owner association - did not affect us. The pool has a Tiki bar, it was open on the weekends. The welcome pack has two wifi codes capable of hooking two devices to the Wifi, no streaming. Since this is off season, the office was closed on the weekend. Dog friendly, but some sites are a pretty good walk to dog walking grass. I did see one "no dogs on the grass" sign. There is a 10 year rule. I would come back but only in the off season. Our 5th wheel is 40' and we tow with a Freightliner hauler. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We are sorry that the gates worked to well. While we attempt to walk thru the WiFi and gate policies at check-in and explain the codes we may have missed this with you at check-in.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and appreciate your kind words about the Resort. We hope to have you back with us again soon.

This is as good as it gets. We had an accident, and stopped in on a morning in early February, without a reservation, and with a real sob story in hand which the Manager and his Staff were graciously able to take our word for. By doing so, they bailed us out of several nights of dry camping at a time when there was no other available RV site in the entire area during the absolute top of the high season. The Manager and Staff could not have been more helpful, going way, way out of their way to find sites for us in this beautiful, completely full park. We have never been treated better, and the sites that were assigned to us were spectacular ones, and we have never seen an RV park this nice. Very spacious, very long, sites well designed for living that we have never seen the equal of anywhere. This park, where the sites are usually owner occupied, has a Home Owner's Association which has a Manager and Staff running it, in a very upscale way. We do not know how our stay here could have been improved upon, and appreciate all that the Staff did for us, and the excellent sites that we stayed in. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We wanted to get away to sunny Florida for a few weeks but most decent campgrounds were full. We ended up booking here and had to pay the full month plus a day when we were only going to be staying for 19 days. The campground is nicely laid out, spots are adequate in size, some better than others, the utilities all worked fine, and the pool and spa were a nice addition. The "locals" in the campground were very friendly and honestly they were having a heck of a good time. Every day they were doing some kind of activity and then ending up at the onsite bar in the afternoon. We are not retired yet so it was interesting to witness. Overall the park was fine but we won't go back. We felt trapped in the park, trapped in the area, and trip provided nothing of the camping life that we enjoy. I will say the one negative of this park and many of this type are that no one wants you to walk on the grass. If you have dogs, which we have 2, it's basically a struggle to walk with any enjoyment when at every turn there is a "don't walk on the grass" sign. Give it a rest with that crap. We all pick up after our dogs and they are a part of most campers life so lighten up with that. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Big rig friendly with all concrete sites. Cable, laundry room and showers were good. Wi-Fi was okay. Swimming pool was heated and water aerobics every morning was great. Most activities did not start until January. No dog park but had open field to walk door on lease. Great place to ride motorcycles. You could ride bicycles to Walmart, Ft Myers Beach, two restaurants, and drug store. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is run like a park should be run, making you feel welcome from the office to the person taking you to your site to the neighbors coming and introducing themselves. The park is immaculate, wifi is good and you feel like you are home. The pool is nice and happy hour is wonderful. Definitely would return every chance I get. This is a owner owned campsite which when the owners aren't around anyone can rent the sites for a very pleasant stay. Clean and well maintained sites, but beware that dogs keep off the grass signs are everywhere. I walked ours out to the entrance roadway so as to not bother anyone in the park. Lots of high end motorhomes with a few fifth wheels and travel trailers scattered about when we were there in April. April happened to be quite hot and humid which I guess is the norm for Ft. Myers area, but it was easy to get into the park as most of the snowbirds had left. Very close to Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. Lots of things to do in the area, and restaurants a plenty for those who like to eat out. We arrived unfortunately during a spring break week and found the beaches quite crowded. We waited until the week was over before venturing back to the beaches again. Swimming pool and club house was very nice, with a bar area at the pool. We camped here in a fifth wheel and the sites were very large, we will be back again. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our 2nd time staying at this park. This time we booked a full week which gave us a better rate. One of the nicest parks we have stayed at with perfect location to access all the area has to offer. Pads are very large with nice landscaping and patio areas. Many of the sites are privately owned, so some more extravagant than others. Satellite friendly and wifi worked great. Very nice pool area with tiki bar. Everyone very friendly and fun to walk to the park and check out all that owners have done to enhance their sites. Our spot was right on the lake and minimal road noise from the highway. We would highly recommend and definitely stay here again. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Agree with all previous highly rated reviews: this is a wondrous park, with more high-end setups than I’ve ever seen in one place. All services and amenities are top-notch, functional and immaculate with one exception: the Tengo internet is, as always, abysmal. Not the park’s fault: they restrict users to two devices each and they’ve installed several access points - I received eight - each reported fair to good signal strength with an initial speed of 24Mbs until connected, then down to 1Mbs. Tengo simply isn’t up to today’s bandwidth challenge. Fortunately it costs nothing and as usual one gets what one pays for. I highly recommend you avoid the aggravation by buying your own WIFI hotspot: money well invested. Super friendly and helpful staff, very effective bi-weekly insect control and a great library and heated pool. Daily pool exercises, pickle ball every second day, weekly Harley rides and one special event (New Year’s Eve Party) organized for December, with most other activities resuming in January. For a park of this quality, we would have expected and appreciated gym facilities. The park was about 40 percent full in early Dec, 80 percent in late Dec and the office says it’ll be totally full in the New Year, so early reservations are recommended. With what the park and the area have to offer, we’ll be back. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Gulf Waters was a very nice campground. It’s an ownership park, so most folks here own their space and, judging by the Ghost Town level of emptiness on Labor Day weekend, most owners are seasonal. I can’t comment on how good or bad this part is during season (in Florida, roughly October - April/May) as I imagine it’s quite a different park. However, off season, it was pretty great: especially if you’re looking to get away and enjoy a bit of privacy. Our site was very wide and extraordinarily long. Even with our Toad on the spot we had 15 or 20 feet in the back that was nicely paved with brick. Pool and clubhouse facility was really nice and looks like there is even a Tiki Bar during more brisk months. Facility was nicely kept and manicured even though almost everybody was gone: I think that is a great sign. Park was really convenient to Fort Myers Beach (with no traffic getting in the way, probably just 5-10 minutes from RV to Beach) but still close enough to “town” if you need supplies, diversion or want to grab something to eat. Summer rates were very reasonable at about 40 bucks out the door counting tax and a Good Sam discount. Check-in was a breeze and office staff were super accommodating in helping us choose a perfect site. Would camp here again and would highly recommend. We camped at Gulf Waters RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Upscale snowbird RV resort. Beautifully landscaped, wide roads, large sites, pavers everywhere. Closest location I could find to Sanibel. Hwy right out front and 6 miles to Sanibel for rubber necking. Cute Sanibel restuarant called Lazy Flamingo worth a stop. Office staff very pleasant and helpful. Well worth the 10.
