My wife and I stayed at this park for 3 months last winter. It was our first time in Florida for the winter and we had no intentions of buying at this or any other park. During our time in Florida we visited multiple parks from Bradenton to Naples and couldn't find one that we loved as much as Cypress Trails. The park is well located near I-75 and close to downtown Ft. Myers for nightlife and dining, river boating, shopping and 45 minutes to beaches. The park is exceptionally clean, beautifully landscaped and has fantastic amenities for the active visitor. We play pickle ball, work out in the gym, enjoy tennis, bocci ball, corn hole, organized bike rides, love the salt water pool and lap lanes but most of all we love the people there. We never felt a segregation between owners and renters. Every owner that we met was so welcoming and fun and the evenings are filled with planned parties at the 12,000 square foot clubhouse as well as mini parties at homeowners sites throughout the park. We loved it there so much that at the end of our visit, we decided to purchase a lot and make this our winter home. Sites are at least 35'x 90' with 20' x 70' concrete pads and back onto lakes or woods. Many install cabanas, large tiki huts and patios. The comments about the 10 noisy pigs that affected 2% of the sites is no longer the case. That minimal issue has been corrected and is no longer a concern. I agree that there is some initial pressure from the sales staff for you to buy a lot, but let's face it, they're in the business of selling lots in this park. In the beginning we told then that we weren't interested and they left us alone. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful and the campers that decide to work during their stay are courteous and a real asset to the park. All in all, there is a reason that the show "Best Of The Best" voted this park the best of it's kind in the nation for 2016. We honestly love it and know that you will too. We camped at Cypress Trail RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in a lakefront site for 3 weeks in January and really did enjoy our visit. The sites are large and very well maintained. They are in the process of adding more sites that will almost double the number of sites in the resort. They have many activities that you can participate in if you wish. There is also plenty of place for walking and/or biking in the resort. The check-in was very easy and we were escorted to our site by a very nice gentleman. The office was very nice and helpful also. We will definitely return when in the area. We camped at Cypress Trail RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park was nice, no WIFI except at the clubhouse, The entrance was very hard to maneuver two sets of gates and if you miss the second gate you have to turn around and start over, kind of crazy. Park was clean and close to shopping and I-75. We camped at Cypress Trail RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very Nice park, mostly owners, this is not a very renter friendly park as it's is a bait and switch kind of deal. They are very motivated to sell you a lot. Very clickish! This is a resort style campground, very nice landscaping paved and very large lots. I recommend you stay away from the west side of the park as it joins up to a pig farm and the smell is atrocious. Pigs are loud everyday at feeding times and the owners of the farm party every weekend with Mexican style music very loud till late into

the night! We camped at Cypress Trail RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here compliments of La Mesa RV while they waited for parts to repair our motorhome. The park is excellent, wide streets, large lots with level cement slabs, good utilities and the park is convienent to interstate 75. It is a secure park with a pass card to enter. The park is new and parts are still under construction. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Cypress Trail RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a new ownership park that also rents sites. The staff here is very good. There is a large pool, tennis court, pickleball courts, and shuffleboard. There is also a lake with paddle boats. Park is located about two miles off Interstate 75 and you should follow the directions on their web site as your GPS may take you a different route. Roads and streets are concrete and sites are of decent size. Shopping that includes Costco, Publix, and Walmart are within a few miles. The park is very quiet with no train, highway, or airplane noise. We have stayed in this area before and found this listed on another web site and this is now our choice when in this area. We are full timers in a forty foot rig and this is one of a very few excellent ratings I have given. We camped at Cypress Trail RV Resort in a Motorhome.
