Their store has almost everything you may need for your RV. The store is stocked well with things you would find at a convenience store and the people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. They have Good Humor Ice Cream which is hard to find and the prices are very reasonable. The WIFI connection is very good; we think its because we camped close to the store. We ate lunch at the Coyote Grill Restaurant next to the store and the food and service was GREAT! They serve large portions and homemade specialties every day. The pool is spacious and clean with really comfortable lounge chairs; some shade. There's a Propane Fill Station on premises. Garbage is picked up at the sites every Monday and Friday. The maintenance men are friendly and will always help you out. It is very safe and the Ft. Pierce Sheriff patrols the park twice a day. The supermarket and beaches are close by and Fort Pierce has a lot of good stores. The Road Runner is very close to I-95, the Flying J's and the Florida Turnpike. There's a Chaplain on premises and non-denominational services are offered on Sundays. Entertainment is provided on Friday nights and everyone gets together in front of the store; its a wonderful family-type atmosphere. However, they say it gets very busy in season with a lot of Canadians coming down for the winter. We think it is a great place to stay for a few days. We also get a 10% Good Sam discount. Highly recommend it! We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for three nights & somewhat glad it was only three nights. Our site was somewhat dirty with it not being cleaned off from pine tree cones, dirt, etc. Was a decent sized lot near the back & was good for short term stays. One thing, it is close to shopping & the beach. There are a lot of French speaking people staying there & somewhat keep to themselves. Camp store is well stocked & they have a restaurant there also. The staff was friendly upon arrival, but parking to check in can be confusing. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.

With about 450 camp sites...felt like a small fish in a big pond. Hate waiting till you get there for your site (we stayed a month.) Lots of Four month people and longer...they get first choice.

Women at front desk need to be more informed about events and activities...(they didn't know if signed up for Valentines Day party, dress or what to bring.) Other activities

too...some were downright cranky...some ignored customers.). (But....V.DAy party was awesome!)

People are friendly..French more reserved...but think a lot don't speak English.

We were excited about a Hot Dog Roast Sunday...went there. Found out you had to bring own hot dogs (and condiments!). So cheap!!! No potlucks. No morning coffees.

It is close to "cool" Vero Beach and beaches!!!

Our site had concrete and grass, mostly shady, and included a picnic table and patio.

No wireless for over two weeks. Wanted a refund...but no. Also charged $5.00 a day for Internet. Would not stay there again. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to Waldo's happy hour in Vero Beach...right on Beach! We loved going to Little Jim's Bait and Tackle for their afternoon local bands and cheap beer...on the North Bridge.

Drive to Stuart, Fl. Quaint town! Pineapple Joes is a fun local restaurant...great food and prices. Last night for our treat went to "Ocean Grill" in Vero Beach...worth every dollar!!! Stuffed shrimp with crabmeat was awesome!

Stayed here 4 nights in motorhome. Transients very low priority to full timers. No Cable. OK internet. Some renovation going on for fulltime sites. Upon arrival, no designated registration parking. Confusing. My first site was impossible to park in. With about 50-60 vacant sites, registration staff argued with me about my request for another site. No garbage receptacles. Must store your garbage until Monday or Friday Pickup. I would not recommend this park to other campers. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Motorhome.

Campground brochure boasts "all the amenities you expect," but doesn't "offer" cable TV and charges $5.00 per day for Internet service. I paid a $25.00 deposit and was charged $24.15 on arrival. I see no deduction for the Good Sam card. It is painfully obvious that they cater to their seasonal clientele, as my registration was interrupted twice to check out those purchasing from the store.

Concrete pad for picnic table NOT camper!

This is definitely not a $50.00 per night CG. Should have been closer to $25.00. Choose another CG. Fortunately this was just an overnight stay for us. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We booked our stay based on the brochure we picked up. It says "with all of the amenities you have come to expect from a full service campground". There was no cable available and the wifi worked about 30% of the time. We were packed into a spot by the maintenance shed. The laundry was expensive and the dryers worked some of the time. We have stayed in much better campgrounds! We planned on renting a car for one week of our two weeks there but after seeing the campground and the unfriendliness of the other campers we rented a car for the entire time we were there so we could leave every day. We would NOT stay here again. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Motorhome.

This park has the benefit of spectacular south Florida weather. There are only a few sites devoted to transient travellers with the vast majority of the park being long term snowbirds. There is a large francophone population. Sites are typical south Florida tight with no cable available in the transient sites. We never were able to get any wifi signal even on the patio by the office. Good camp store and excellent restaurant on site even a small farmer's market on Friday mornings. If you are a joiner there are many many activities. Small but beautiful pool area. Although advertised as pet friendly there is no dog park and a plethora of semi rude private signs warning pet owners about what can't happen where. There is absolutely nothing except the pool for children. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Motorhome.

This aging park has been well maintained for the most part, but the 3-hole golf course was a disappointment and did not appear to be used while we were there. It was not clear where to tee off and the grass around the holes looked like it was dying. The picnic table sat on a concrete pad, and the motor home was parked on sandy grass. Our rate is based on a two week stay. The newly installed internet worked well nearly all the time and was robust enough to stream a movie at our site near the entrance. It was hard for someone staying such a short time to get involved in activities. About 30% of the campers were from Quebec and spoke French and were understandably reluctant to converse much with us. We would have done better with an explanation of activities. When the calendar listed a wiener roast at the Ret., we thought it was taking place at the restaurant. Only after we went to the restaurant were we told that it was at a communal campfire area and you had to bring your own hotdogs??? We would have loved to play tennis, but even after we found the sign up sheet, we couldn't figure out how to play with other twosomes. When we made our reservation here we asked for an open site so we could use our satellite dish. The first one we were assigned had too much foliage, but staff was willing to relocate us as long as they had space. Many of the campsites were in a forested are, not suitable for a roof top mounted dish like ours. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed the Saturday farmers' market which was combined with a craft market some Saturdays. Each market also featured live music.

Very nice and friendly park. We had a lake front lot right near the store/office. Lots of activities - music on Friday and Saturday nights. We used the pool and the fire pit. All worked great. Church service on Sunday morning. Our biggest complaint was we couldn't stay longer! We would stay here again (and we will)! We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice resort with large and wide sites and beautiful mature trees. The sites are not paved, but there is a pad with a picnic table. WiFi is only available on the deck in the clubhouse. There is a small restaurant on site, but we found it inconsistent. It depends on who is doing the cooking. There is a small store as well, which is handy for an emergency. We found that there was a bit of division between the French speaking and the English speaking community here. We speak very little French so it was difficult to communicate. The resort is about 8 miles from beautiful beaches. Shopping is also fairly close. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was somewhat remote but quiet and well organized. It is mainly semi-permanent rigs with many cottages. Everything is well maintained and has many activities for everyone including entertainment on Friday nights. The transient spots were adequate with reasonable accessibility. We would return if needing to be near Fort Pierce or Port Lucie. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Older park and HUGE! We were assigned a site, which was really too small for our travel trailer with slide, barely had room for slide, NO room to extend awning. Sites are close together, and most campers are seasonal. We had good shade at site, and backed up to small golf course. Dog friendly. Activities are many, and had a good Sunday service (non-denominational). We stayed a week. Not sure about the cost shown, as we lost the receipt, but they do discount with Good Sam and longer stays. Probably would not return. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park, with many trees, lots of green space and activities (pool, little lake, small golf course) but the park fails to tell pet owners of a problem with Bufo/cane frogs. These frogs are common to this park and extremely toxic. 2 dogs have recently died after encounters with these frogs, all it takes is a dog to touch this frog with mouth area, and it is fatal in less than 30 minutes). I believe they should warn guest when checking in about this danger. Has a serious problem with some French Canadians during winter. They take over the park. Very rude and unfriendly. We will not stay here again. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Motorhome.

I have reviewed many parks in the past and never have I given one a low ranking until now. We spent 6 weeks here. First, there is Wi-Fi but only available if you sit on their store porch. Second, the park has many large trees, most of which tower over the RV's. We had constant pine cones falling on our roof. We also had a big branch dangling by a thread near the front of our trailer where we parked. Twice we brought it to the attention of the office saying we feared it would fall on our vehicle; we were told we'd be put on the list for removal but their picker was presently broken. 4 weeks later the branch fell and luckily our vehicle wasn't there at the time because it would have been damaged. I later learned another camper, who was a resident, has been on the "list" for 2 years now for a dangling branch. Third, this park has a duel personality; one during off season, another during season. During off season the park is friendly, more relaxed and quiet. But in late fall many French Canadians snowbirds seem to take over the park; they are not a friendly bunch and the atmosphere is more tense. There also seems to be 2 sets of rules, one for Americans, another for the Canadians and rule violations aren't uniform. Lastly, they claim to be pet friendly but unless your dog is a stuffed animal it is not true. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
