1 Park near Fountain, Florida
Dec 2015 - $20.00
This is the second time we have stayed at this park. It is kind of out of the way but worth it as it is still close enough to the coast to drive down there. They have pull through sites and big rig access. The electric and water are good and the sites are level. There are full time residents there as well - they are very reasonable if you want to settle there for a few years or permanently. They do have a rec hall with work out equipment and a large walking trail around the park (where I let my dogs run). They are family friendly; have a pool, pavilion, large fire pit for get togethers. The sites are somewhat close together but not too bad. It is a huge park with lots of sites way in the back if you are staying long term. Roads are in good shape too. There is a huge lake for fishing and picnic tables and benches to sit on by the lake. It's a nice park and we will be back when in the area. - Kerch Family
Jul 2015 - $18.00
We stayed here three days which was three days to many. The park advertises Satellite TV but you have to have a box from them and only they only have enough boxes for their full time residents. They also advertise Wifi but told us that it would not be working until August 1. Was told by another camper that they were told it would be working July 1. We have an infestation of ants that we picked up there and in all of our years (15 full time) we have never had ants this bad. Can't seem to get rid of them at all. Everything about this campground is not nice. Won't be back. - ob's place

Called ahead to say we were coming in and assured there was room We stayed at this campground 2 years ago. Staff is very pleasant to deal with. Campground roads are paved but sites are grass or red dirt. Sites used at this time (mid April) are all pull-thru. We'd say the sites were 20' wide, and 50' to 60' long. There are a few trees in between sites, some right in the middle area. Staff came and cut a branch off a sapling to make room for neighbor's slide out vs having him move his rig.
Two bathrooms w/showers in the main building although one was out of order for work the day we stayed. Clean, good water pressure. Laundry is in back side of Quonset Hut - $2.50 each wash and dry.
We only used electricity at our site since we were in for just 1 night, but had the option of water and sewer as well. Air tv received a few channels. Free Wifi worked fine for us to check emails - we do not require more bandwith for downloading other things so we were happy with service.
Campground was very quiet and hardly any road noise from local highway 231 that runs by the front entrance. From our previous visit we knew they were a distance from major highway (10+ miles) but that's one of the reasons we chose to stay there.
Rate was with Passport America discount - We will stay here again when our journey brings us back this way. - yesmar
