We called ahead of time to make certain our very sweet Rottweillers would be welcome. After staying two weeks of our three months I was verbally attacked and told 'nobody wants you here, just leave'! This happened right out in the open for no reason as we were minding our own business and thought everything was fine. Apparently this is how they compel a camper to leave. The sites were very tight. The people were all very clickish. If you weren't a seasonal camper, you were Not spoken to. Have Never been treated thusly. Will certainly Not go back. We were on a bucket list trip. Our Rotties are our babies and we've stayed at several campgrounds as we are avid campers where we've had compliments on how well behaved they are. We were able, on short notice to find a campground we were welcome. We did not use the restrooms, the pool looked inviting. The views of wildlife from the boardwalk are perfect. We camped at Camp N'Water in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We took our dogs to Citrus Pet Resort a couple of miles away to run and have group play...definitely recommend this great place for your furry family members:)

We were put in a site that they said was a pull in and back out of but it was just the opposite. We ended up moving to another site because the cable and the electric didn't work on the first site. Campground interior roads are tight to say the least and every 20 feet there is a speed bump that rocks the coach and with roads that small, the speed bumps don't seem necessary at all. Very tight camp spaces as well. Because they are on the water, and you are surrounded by trees, be prepared for biting insects. Just bring insect repellent and you should be okay. We camped at Camp N'Water in a Motorhome.

Should be called Camp Pack 'Em In. The roads to reach the park are winding and get you well away from traffic noise, but it wasn't difficult to get to. Our welcome was neither pleasant nor unpleasant. The only voluntary words were, "Sign here", three times. Once for the rules, once for the credit card and once to absolve the park for any damage to appliances caused by low voltage. Our voltage was fine. The park is quiet but has bright lights on high poles. Sites are set among the beautiful trees, making it necessary to fit them where possible. Our site was at a 75° angle to the next site, putting our back bumper 7' from theirs. Small concrete patios with an old picnic table, grass/dirt sites and very narrow gravel roads describe it. Most guests appeared to be long-term and a few had piles of 'stuff' filling the site. Restrooms were clean and functional but showing their age. Water was hot and had good pressure. We didn't attend the Bingo night but there are activities. Nice location on the water. We might have liked it better if we were boaters. We camped at Camp N'Water in a Motorhome.

This is the park I have been looking to find for a stay of a few months. The rate reflects 483/mo. rate. Wi-Fi is available but weak unless you are close to the office area. I was told Bright House is looking at a total park system in the near future. The park has a marine and launch ramp right on the Homosassa River. It's $5 to launch and $5/night to keep your boat in the water. There is a boat/trailer storage area and plenty of room to walk your dog. Pool is small but nice. Some sites are larger than others but many large 5th wheels and motorhomes come and go. There are some sites occupied year round, but are not filled with junky old tin boxes. As far as the comments about difficulty getting there, any modern GPS will put you right on the door step as will the map supplied with their brochure. Full Wi-Fi would be welcome. We camped at Camp N'Water in a Fifth Wheel.

"Off the beaten path" does not begin to describe this park. It is way off Route 19 and you must take very curvy roads to get there. It is very easy to get lost and we did. Just try turning around a 31 foot motorhome in this area!! They advertise "pull thru" and we reserved one but were given a "pull in" that we had to back out of when leaving. The park appears to be mostly seasonals and offers boat docks. So, I suppose it is acceptable if you bring your boat and spend most of your time on it. However, I prefer no bugs, no old trees dropping brown stuff all over my motorhome and no mud. We were there for 2 nights and the site stayed wet the entire time. Luckily we were visiting relatives in the area and were only looking for a place to park the RV and sleep. The staff in the office was very nice, but, I will look elsewhere next time. We camped at Camp N'Water in a Motorhome.

Kind of older park but very clean. Bathrooms spotless. Very clean pool and laundry. Boat ramp right to river and gulf. Noseeums were way worse than staff said they were on phone. We camped at Camp N'Water in a Travel Trailer.
