Price was with Good Sam discount and included tax. This is a very mixed use park. It feels more like a campground than resort, but they do have a clubhouse, pool, marina with tiki bar and some activities. Most sites seem to be occupied by permanent residents; many who seem to come for the weekend. There did seem to be some snowbirds as well. Marina has boat launch and there is boat storage, so lots of boaters on the weekend. Big rig section F is way in the back in a large gravel lot with hook-ups. To get there, you have to navigate down a long and windy road with trees on both sides. Doable, but be careful! Sites are very close together. Just enough room for slides and awning, but almost touching. Our picnic table was black with mold and looked like it would collapse if sat on. There is a brand new section N just opened closer to the front for big rigs with pull-thru sites and concrete patios. WiFi was okay most of the time. No over the air TV channels available. We were able to get satellite in section F, but much of park is too wooded. They have cable TV, but we did not use it. Seems to be very popular with partiers. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very large park with many here on an annual basis. The park residents are so friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of activities and things to do. The free park wifi is not very good (like most parks). Overall, it's a great place and I plan to stay awhile. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pros: Wifi that mostly worked (overnight/weekly guests get one wifi while the long term residents get a different one), good cable tv, doggie cleanup stations, clean park, nice camp store, nice people, and a good location to local sights and shopping/restaurants. Cons: Putting a 4-day guest with a 40' toyhauler at the very back of this BIG trailer park meant having to navigate tight roads jammed packed up with people, trailers and vehicles to get to a dirt parking lot with no possible view of water or a tree to back into a slot where you are surrounded on both sides and your back to neighbors that as soon as you put out your slides you can touch each other. A big dirt parking lot. No privacy on your site. A small picnic table only. Only way to get a view of the water is to walk over to the marina. Tried to visit the marina pub thinking that would be nice to look at the water while having a beverage. Nope. Filled with smoke, dirty tables and blasting music. I've never seen so many people and trailers jammed into a trailer park before. It was definitely not relaxing or enjoyable. Most people are residents and looks like they have lots of nice activities but as a short term guest visiting the local sights we didn't partake of those. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

alert for all of 2017 there is construction on the bridge leading to this trailer park so you will be waiting for a good while coming and going to the park. I do not recommend this park for trailers over 35 feet (they put big rigs at the back of the park in loop F) or anyone who wants nature (unless you pay extra for water front site which are too small for big rigs).

Stayed here 5 nights over the New Years Holiday so no discount offered. We had a site on the Superhighway as there was only one way in and one way out. Traffic was a constant stream at times with the cars and golf carts. My biggest pet peeve is cigarette butts! We picked up at least 75 just within our site alone. Butts are trash people! Not very nice sitting outside shuffling the trashy butts around. For $50 per night I expect a clean site. Also lots of trash in the woods behind our coach. The picnic table was moldy and sorta gross. Didn't ask for one as we were only here for a short time. Some of the sites were so close together it was silly, like sardines in a can. On the plus side I love 50 amp, Wi-Fi, cable TV, level sites and a concrete pad! We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Don't miss Shelly's Fish Market located at 5380 S. Boulevard Dr. in Homosassa. Great little market on the river with really fresh seafood. We got a big slab of swordfish, some jumbo white shrimp, and Habanero smoked fish dip. They were fantastic on the grill! Locals were in there picking up bushels of oysters and stone crab claws for the New Year's holiday. Open Thursday thru Sunday. Phone is 352 503 6882 Food truck in the parking lot but didn't get to try it out.

Love this place. Something to do every night. Employees were wonderful. Great bar and lounge. We have several friends that go here every year. Lots are spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is a concrete pad featuring a fire ring, picnic table and patio. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Well-- its just not my kind of town. I say town because its filled with permanents that have not moved in years. I had one of the few available water front sites. It was tough to back in with all the vehicles parked along the road. Then barely enough room to get my bumper off the road. I got to fish off the rear dock and that was a real plus. Huge cable lineup and 115v electric. The bathrooms could have been a bit more tidy. At dusk the onsite bar comes alive. Thumping and bumping. In season it must be something. 99% of this place is full time trailer trash. It is so packed with boats, trailers, dogs unleashed and the constant traffic and liquored up campers. We camped here 15 years ago and it was nice; now its a mess. I would never come back. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I have a love-hate relationship with this park. Has everything. Marina, bar/restaurant overlooking the river, clubhouse and much more. If you get the right spot you're shady with some room. Lots of permanents and seasonals so getting one of those spots unlikely. We were out in short term area. Spots were so tight couldn't use the awning and slides had very little extra space. We could see the river, but only if you looked under or around the 5th wheelers blocking the view. No table or patio. If you are a beer drinker you have found nirvana. I was here on a weekend and at dusk the golf carts came out with one hand on the wheel and the other holding a brew. I checked out other parks and would still stay here again. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Tent.

We had a spot right next to the water which had a nice dock for our boat. The marina restaurant and bar is a great place to meet people and the bartenders are pleasant and a lot of fun. The grounds are maintained well and the shower house is clean. The staff we dealt with help provide information about the area. Great place to vacation. This is more of a "trailer park" than a campground. It's a huge place and I would say about 80-90% of occupants are either permanent or seasonal. There is a small area that appears to be set aside for short term campers. It's a nice, well-kept park, but felt a little weird. Lots of people zooming all over in golf carts and barely even a wave. Kind of like you're trespassing on their "community". Maybe that's just me. The sites are fairly close together and I'm not sure how big-rig friendly most of the non-permanent sites are. I'd call first if I had a huge rig with tow car. They have a really nice laundry, one of the best I've come across in eight months on the road full-time, and the restrooms were clean, bright, and modern. The shower stalls have doors, a small changing area with a bench and a couple hooks, and a normal size shower stall with a curtain. The wi-fi worked ok and Verizon signal was good. At $35/day including tax and Good Sam discount, it's pretty reasonably priced in my opinion, and a decent place to stay in the area. I would stay again. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Truck Camper.

This park is typical of what "Old Florida" should like like. The entire park is wooded except for the marina area. The park is quite large (2 miles of paved roads according to the front office), however everything is winding roads so you can not visualize the size without walking it. Playgrounds for kids are fully shaded next to the marina and club house. Cable TV and WiFi are great. There are new WiFi antennas throughout the park. Looked like a fair number of the residents are full time, however, everyone keeps their property and RV's clean and neat. IMPORTANT: they do have Big Rig sites, but not a lot of them. Call ahead and they will make sure you are in the right sized lot. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is what we imagined "old Florida" to look like. The park is quite large but the winding streets hide the size. A complete circuit of all the streets is about 2 miles. The of the sites are mostly to fully shaded. Only a few - down by the water and marina, do not have much shading. New WiFi towers are everywhere and service is great. The cable has about 70 channels. A big number of the sites seem to be occupied by full time RV's. Mostly 5th wheeler and Class A RV's. These homes are very well maintained and landscaped. An important note to travelers: - call ahead and make sure the staff knows exactly what your site requirements are. Many of the sites are 50 amp - but not all of them. Many of the sites have concrete pads - but not all. Many of the sites can accommodate large RV's - but not all of them The staff genuinely wants everyone's stay to be enjoyable so call ahead so they can place you properly. The waterfront area is very natural looking - no houses or commercialism. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campsite, a little crowded and close together but for the price it's good. We stay here a few weekends a year with a group of friends and they are always accomidating to our group.

Useful boat ramp to get to the springs and restaurants on the water. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We spent the weekend at this campground and had a great time. The facilities were clean. The staff was friendly. There is access to the river and a boat launch that was trouble free. There is a great deal of outdoor water activities available. An onsite pontoon boat rental is available and would be advisable to travel for a day on the river. The dockside Tiki bar was a big hit as well. One could park in the campground and never leave the campgrounds until it was time to go home. Retirees, Golf carts, Crowded (cozy), Children, Carefree campers, all yes. Everyone was friendly and this was a true Florida atmosphere with plenty to do. If one wants to lay in the weeds, stay home. We camped at Nature's Resort RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
