Apr 2018 - $16.00
The monthly rate was $475 incl elec and wifi which only works near the office and may not work at all for days at a stretch. The laundry room needs updating -the washers are rusting and the dryers may operate too hot. Otherwise, a pleasant park and owner who may be about to sell. Fire ants may be a problem. - 2 maybe 3 eagles
Feb 2017 - $20.00
As previous reviewers have said, this is an older park out in the country. The 50amp power and the sewer connections both worked well. The owner was extremely nice. It's quiet and peaceful and you can't beat the rate.
Our only problem was that our site was so narrow we couldn't use our awning and our neighbor had already put his awning away anticipating our arrival. Other campers took their chairs into a nice shady area behind the RVs where they gathered to visit. We hate being in such close quarters so we would stay again only in a pinch, but for people who don't mind the closeness, it's a nice place to stay. - all4pets
Jan 2017 - $20.00
This is an older, quiet, rural RV park. This park is a certified wildlife habitat. There is a section of permanent residents on one side of the park and RV sites on the other. All sites have full hookups. The 30 amp sites are closer to the road and the 50 amp sites are toward the back away from the road. Most of the sites are on grass or gravel. Some have a concrete patio. Roads within the park are paved. There is a laundry room with several older washing machines and four newer dryers. The recreation room has many interesting antiques that the owners collected. The room also has a kitchen area, tables, a pool table and foosball table. The park office is at the far back of the park on the south side. - MkvCjv
Dec 2010 - $10.00
I rated this park a 5 because of the fact it's a primitive campground area. Take CR 832 from highway 29 near Felda. Then turn on the last road on the right called Wild Cow Grade. The road into the campground is gravel but not bad. The numbered sites on Panther Pond would be too small for anything over roughly 27 feet and are well shaded. However just a little farther in there is an open field area that would take a big rig and generators are allowed to be run there. I've seen deer, hogs, a bobcat, otters, gators and many bird species. The quiet and scenery are great and well off the busy typical park. Miles of roads and trails. I find it better than Everglades national park. - Goinmobile
Mar 2018 - $100.00
This place has great amenities and many daily activities. However, the people here are the best part. We were here for 2 months and made many friends. They had a "Fun Festival" which were took part in and loved it. This place is not cheap, but the price is worth it. You need to book early and they first book campers staying for 3 months or longer. Once here, all you need to do is walk around the park once and you will feel welcomed. Everyone you see waves or says hello. We made several friends right away and people that owned the park model next to us were great. They welcomed us to Crystal Lake immediately and invited us to several get togethers on their lot. We had a great time. This was going to be a try it once deal, but we are now canceling our plans for next year so we can comeback here for four months. - logjam192
Jan 2016 - $63.00
As another reviewer stated, this is looking more like a trailer park than an RV resort because of so many park models. On the plus side, the park is immaculate and the sites on the lake are pleasant, except for the fact you are looking at mostly park models. Everyone is friendly enough, but they tend to socialize only with other long term residents, so we didn't meet as many other RVers as we'd like.
The price is high for what you get, and the location is pretty far out, requiring about 30 minutes to get into downtown Naples. Strip malls and grocery stores are nearby, however. We would choose something different next time. - Drakelos
Dec 2015 - $55.00
Great place. Second time we stayed here. One of the best campgrounds you will find. Crystal Lakes is well maintained and easy to navigate. Great sites that are textured concrete and far apart.
Not a place for kids as there seems to be very few there. The location is good for getting around Naples. Price is good for what you get. - The VA Gent
Apr 2017 - $35.00
Easy access from I-75, gated, clean, landscaped, friendly staff, hookups convenient, some trees and flowers, paved roads gravel sites. Mid April park was almost empty, snow birds had flown home so maneuvering in park was easy. If park was full would be tight. - rmartin
Feb 2017 - $44.00
Very, very large sites. Plenty of activities and great front desk people. Great pool and laundry/library facilities. Just get cable and better wifi and it would be heaven. - MandT
Nov 2016 - $36.00
We stayed two separate nights in this campground, coming and going to the Fl Keys. Access to I-75 is super easy. Arrival and checkin were quick and pleasant. Overall the camp is very quiet and appears well maintained. Paved drives lead to gravel sites with grassy areas between. Picnic table (polymer) on the concrete pad was new. Mix of sun and shade sites. We had a long (100'+) level flat pull through on both nights. Our 50A utilities worked well, water pressure was fine. We scanned 28 digital OTA stations, mainly from Naples. We bought the Basic Wifi and got a solid 4 Mbps up/4 Mbps down. Dog run is medium sized and well cared for. Pool looked inviting and clean, but we did not use it in our short stay. The laundry also, but the central facility looked large, new and clean with nice lounge area with a large flatscreen TV. We understand Sanctuary was recently (Dec 2014) reopened under new ownership and refreshed as a large RV park accomodating the largest rigs. Would not hesitate to stop here again when visiting The Keys. - Llando88
Mar 2018 - $100.00
This is a class A ONLY motorcoach RESORT, it has a 5 star rating with much to do in season, December to April. reservations are hard to get in season so book early. The landscaping of the park and the indivual lots are perfect, an oasis in the middle of the orange groves and cattle fields. LaBelle has everything you need and very friendly helpful people. it is located on the intercostal river and and has its own Marina. two club houses, restaurant, large heated 90+ degree pool and 2 hot tubs. Putting green, shuffle board, bocci ball, RC race track, Pickle Ball courts (8). remote control sailing club, Miniature RailRoad layout, Biking around the wide paved resort is a breeze or you can rent golf carts. Gym and pay laundry. The Lake lots are pull ins with a view of the water and fountains, very peaceful. - Bill-NancyK
Feb 2018 - $120.00
One of the classiest class A motorhome parks in Florida. 315 sites with a variety for rent or for sale. The "over the top" character is the friendliness of the people and their volunteer participation to bring added camaraderie. This is a place you visit one time and buy immediately. Large lots, excellent landscaping. The pool is huge, immaculately clean and sanitized with bromide which is so much better than chlorine. Activities abound and your arm gets tired waving at all the folks. Another important feature is that all of the drinking water is filtered with Reverse Osmosis, so it is extremely tasty and pure. Give it a try! - DustyBob
Dec 2017 - $100.00
Sites are owned so your experience will largely depend on how lucky or unlucky you are with your site and your rate. We paid for a lake view and realized how lucky we were, because "lake view" could mean "see a tiny corner of the lake" or "see the fountain in all its splendor". We had the latter. In fact, we feel we had one of the best sites in the park - while there were neighbors they were never there (TONS of privacy), right across from a walking path/bridge, view of the fountain, far enough in that there wasn't any traffic noise, far apart from the other side of the lake, pavers, wide patio. This park literally has everything. Wide roads? Check. Paved roads? Check. Fenced in dog park? There are TWO. Pool? Yup. Friendly staff? Absolutely. Store? Yup. In addition, you'll see they have clubs for everything here. If you happen to have a model stock car, they have a track. If you sail small remote boats, they have a club for that. It is very large so you can run/walk/bike and not go around and around in circles. It met most of our "everything we'd want to see in a park" with one huge exception: the location. It is way out there. People may tout how there are local restaurants in Labelle but not many and not exactly ones of culinary greatness. The nearest grocery store is Walmart about 10 minutes away, but to get to others its about 20 minutes. Fort Myers proper is a good 30-40 minutes away. That said, we'll most likely be back because of how beautiful the park is. - Kamnel
Feb 2018 - $35.00
Bonita Springs is near the Gulf and an easy drive to Naples to the South (20 minutes), Ft. Myers to the north (30 minutes), Sarasota to the north (90 minutes). Park is on the Imperial River. Nice walks on banks. Stay here marked a return to Florida after three winters in Tucson. This is a big park (nearly 300 sites) but unlike some where we have stayed over the years, we didn't feel like seals in a colony. Stayed in a full service site just big enough for our 25 ft Class B+. Mostly Class A and 5th wheels, in addition to wide range and age of park models. Park had suffered a lot from hurricane Irma which passed directly over Bonita Springs Sept 2017. Repairs to park models were well underway. RVs that had been damaged (we were told many) had been replaced. Recreational facilities appeared unaffected or already repaired. Park is resident owned so things get done and well. Leak in our water supply fixed within 30 minutes! Dog tolerant, albeit City dog park (nearby) much better than fenced area in park. Number of very good vet clinics and kennels nearby. Many longer term snow birds. Lots of social/sports activities (e.g. shuffle board, pickle ball, yoga, crafts, horse shoes, bocce ball, cocktails...) Near to food stores (eg Publix, Trader Joe's, Fresh, Whole Foods, Winn Dixie) and wide range of shops from cheap to very expensive. Tamiami Trail, about 1.5 miles away, is basically a very long strip mall stretching from Naples to Ft. Myers and on north. You can shop 'til you drop. Nearby movie theaters and music places. This is not a fancy park, but is very well kept and the residents are friendly and helpful. Very comfortable place for short or long stays. Our immediate neighbours had been wintering there for 16, 10 and 7 years. Would happily return. - RHUnity
Dec 2014 - $20.00
This is a decent 55+ park in a great location for visiting several surrounding beaches. Sites are well spaced for multiple slides with concrete patios and gravel for the RV. There are activities & a heated pool that is well maintained. It is quiet. The price shown was for a monthly Dec. stay. We plan to return. - Ron and Jane
Jan 2014 - $33.00
Like many other parks in Florida, this one is set up for older folks who want to hang out in nice weather during the winter months, not for families who are on the move and want a nice place for a short layover. That said, my wife and I were ready for a break from our travels and we really liked this place. It is located just a short drive from the excellent Bonita Beach, Fort Myers Beach, Lover's Key State Park, and a little further, Sanibel Island. Many excellent restaurants and shopping areas are nearby. The park itself has lots of activities - tennis, pickle ball, horseshoes, pool sports and many other park events. The folks are friendly, although conversations aren't usually about traveling around in an RV. Sites are a bit tight and interspersed with lots of permanent structures. Utilities are strong and sites are level (we stayed at #186). As previously reported, the WiFi is terrible and a constant topic of complaint, so bring your own if you can. Cell coverage is good and each site has a concrete patio and strong table. Laundry rooms are screened in areas with lots of machines, but a card system was used that we didn't like. Cards for laundry were recharged at the office, so laundry couldn't be done during off-hours or on Sundays unless you planned ahead. UPS and Fedex delivered directly to sites, so this is a good place to stay if you need to do some fix-ups on your rig. We recommend it to anyone 55+ looking for an excellent location to hang out for a while. The daily rate was based on a one-month stay, and be sure to reserve early for January-March. - LowesTravels
Mar 2017 - $33.00
We stopped here overnight, its about 20 min from Ft Myers Fl. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Looks like a nice snowbird campground without all the bells and whistles of the high dollar resorts in the area. There is no shade in the campground. Full hook ups but the water has a smell. Campground is on the grounds of a nice church retreat and borders the Caloosahatchee River. - Psi500
Feb 2015 - $23.00
We swung by looking for a future campground. It was very promising with a well wooded entrance. We stopped at the office to get literature, the keeper talked to us, she was very nice, we got permission to go to the RV park and take a look. We drove through nice woods and came out to the RV park and there it was, a loop on the open plains, no trees, and the motor homes sardined in full sun with no trees or brush. I was so disappointed we just left. For those that don't mind, the inexpensive rate may be fine. - drsolo
Mar 2011 - $23.00
Riverside Retreat has a campground/RV park open to all. Also hosting a camp for churches, organizations, schools, etc. the campground/RV park is separate from that camp area. Situated on the Caloosahatchee River, Riverside Retreat's motto is, "It's the Nature of the Place." It is a quiet park in a natural setting. You may spy gopher tortoises, bobcats, or armadillos on any of the hiking paths. Canoe or kayak the Caloosahatchee. The roads and sites are not paved, but it is a full hook-up campground with a friendly staff. We highly recommend this little gem of a campground. We visit every winter. - Dawn1955
Feb 2016 - $25.00
This older campground seems to be slowly deteriorating. Sites can be close or very spaced. Landscaping is neglected. The best part of this campground are the wonderful residents. There was no activity in the Chiki-Hut and few other activities. The Shuffleboard court is in sad shape with cracks and weeds growing through the court. The hot tub was a nice 102 degrees, but had lots of leaves in it. The pool was never above 72 degrees and usually empty. The was a problem with the water, and we had to find out from the neighbor not to drink it. We should have been informed by management The roads in the park are deteriorating and in need of repairs. Our site had a shared access with two other sites. The monthly rate was $730. We will not return. - Summer Minnesotan
Mar 2011 - $32.00
This is an older campground that boasts mature pine and palm trees and "grass" between sites. Quite a variation in site dimensions but mostly comfortable for spacing. Grass is not watered any more so is rather brown and sparse in the winter months. Nice paved streets and concrete parking slabs with side extension for table and chairs. Picnic tables provided. Perhaps 50% Permanent sites. Very friendly residents. Morning breakfast in Chiki-Hut by volunteers. Some activities. Shuffleboard, Horseshoe pits seldom used but in nice shape. Hot tub at 102, Pool at 80. Monthly rate about $650. Walking distance to Groceries. Closest spots a block from street making for rather quiet surroundings. - easydoesit
Feb 2018 - $60.00
98% sites clean. About half permanents. Mostly nice people. Paved streets. Cable TV. They pickup your trash. Reasonable rates. Water good. Close to historic Bonita Springs. I would stay here again. - RonH999
Nov 2016 - $39.00
Stayed only one night. The campground is mostly permanents/snowbirds, but the campsites are large enough for those traveling thru. The residents were very friendly. The campground is very neat and laid out well. There is a large, heated pool although we did not have an opportunity to use it. It is in a good location, close to shopping centers, etc. and easily accessible. Only drawback is that the residents park their vehicles across from the campsites and we had to ask them to move the cars for us to be able to back into our site. Would recommend this campground and would stay there again. - Cgd 0317-_
May 2016 - $42.00
Mostly permanent sites, but very clean and well cared for.
Nice transient sites with concrete pads and grass, quiet
and peaceful. Nice pool and laundry facilities. Paved
roads throughout. Clearly the best option for visiting the area.
We would certainly stay again. - macandphyl
Mar 2018 - $32.00
If I could give this Resort a higher score than 10, I would. This is their 1st full year....brand new.....& they are still building & adding on. All sites are brick pavers & all include patios & beautiful landscaping. Beautiful lake surrounded by a brick paver walkway. 2nd lake being added in the new section. All RVs except for the Park Model Village off to the side. This place is beautiful & has the nicest & most fun & welcoming people we've ever met. Dan & Lorraine, the owners are super accommodating & will do everything they can to make this place even better. We can't wait for next year. It will be a grand Homecoming. Coming next year will be an on-site Restaurant, General Store, an organic gardens. Already on-site is a Beauty Shop. - GrannyJ
Aug 2017 - $58.00
Excellent New RV Resort - They are still finishing this resort. It is about 2/3 complete. The sites are all full hook-up and are very large and very nice. There is plenty of room for large RVs along with whatever other vehicle you have (Tow or Towed). All of the sites are paved with pavers and will have tables and grills for your use. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is already one bathhouse and supposedly another on the way. The laundry room has four sets of large capacity machines. The meeting/clubhouse is just about complete. Stay at one of the sites along the lake for wonderful views of sunrise/sunsets, depending on which way you face. - ben31rv
Mar 2017 - $1.00
"Wow" is all we can say. This is a beautiful RV park. Not complete yet, but it's going to be an amazing first class park. Looking forward to next season returning to our paved site, gorgeous pool, organic produce mart, beauty salon and exciting activities right here on site. Brand new everything. Welcoming and spotless! Super friendly and family owned and operated. Feeling blessed to have our spot reserved. - HavingFunFromWisconsin
