Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $35.00
This RV Park has 10 cement, very tight pull-thru overnight sites in front of RV Park facing very noisy/busy Highway 1. The other 90 back in sites are monthly type permanent sites directly behind the front pull-thrus. All utilities including cable TV are strong with good location. Other than being very noisy the park is located 20 mins from downtown Jacksonville and 20 minutes from Mayo Clinic. Maintenance workers are constantly cleaning leaves, mowing grass and trimming bushes so park is clean but older. We camped at Fleetwood RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Walmart, Public, Krispy Kreme, and other shopping is five minutes away. The Village Bread Cafe is a two minute walk and very good breakfast and lunch.

This is a good place to stay if you have things to attend to in Jacksonville. This Park is about 20-25 min from Mayo Clinic and the heavy traffic goes the opposite way in the morning and the evening. The staff is pleasant and helpful Nevertheless this is an older park mostly populated with permanent residents mostly in fairly old units. The sites for overnight users are in the front of the park. They are quite close together. The hookup are satisfactory. We would stay here again, for it is the most convenient place for activities in Jacksonville or points east of the city. We stayed here for 3 nights. It's right in Jacksonville so it was close to where we needed to be. The majority of the park is either mobile homes or long-term RVers. The front of the park is for the short-termers. The staff is very friendly and all the amenities worked fine. The lots are pretty small so our neighbor's awning was almost touching our slides. Fleetwood advertises free wifi but during our stay it was unusable. Either it would not let us on or else once on, it wouldn't let us do much surfing before it stopped working. The RV park is located right off a main road so there is a fair bit of road noise and there's a train that passes nearby in the early mornings. If you're a light sleeper the noise may bother you. We'd probably stay at a different rv park a little further from Jacksonville the next time we're in the area. We camped at Fleetwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

RV parks in Jacksonville are very limited so this one is handy for business in the city or when you have people to visit. 25 minute drive to beaches. The neighborhood is a little questionable but we had no trouble during our stay. The park is half "trailer park" and half for Rv's. The staff and managers are great people and run the park very well. The only main let-down for the park is the bathrooms. No doubt the managers are limited on what they could do with run-down aging bathrooms that are difficult to clean. It is time the owners dipped into their pockets and modernized them. An update for the building is way overdue and as a result we could only say that they were way below the standard expected of $35 a night. We camped at Fleetwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just paid $35 to be accused of stealing a site, and hassled beyond belief! We arrived late and followed the late check-in instructions that were on the sign at the office to choose any open site and pay in the morning. That was not good enough. Three knocks on our door later (all after 11pm), we're finally told that it's ok to stay until the morning. They weren't going to provide a key to the washroom, but apparently reconsidered and came by at midnight to give us one. It would seem that there is a specific area for overnight and we were just supposed to know that by psychic powers I guess (absolutely no instructions to that effect anywhere). They saw us setting up and could have come and told us then that we were in the wrong place and we would have gladly moved, but no, they waited until we were all hooked up with our two young kids sleeping before they decided to come and pay us a visit. Very poor customer service. We will never come back here again, regardless of how close it is to Jacksonville. We camped at Fleetwood RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
