Not a bad place for Passport America. The only really down side it the noise from the planes taking off and landing. The lots are pretty level. The electric and water are good. Yes there are lots of full timer people here but do not bother you. The roads are narrow. Easy in and off to get here. I would stay here again if in the area. Easy on and off from I-95. Office staff not overly friendly. Narrow roads, some of the full time residents take up a lot of room. All hookups were well located. Site was not clean; seems camper before us washed their rig or toad and left mud all over site. Our site had a light pole at the front left hand corner of site which made it hard to get out of site because large rig across street. Airport noise from early morning to late at night. Will only return if nothing else available in area. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Very close together sites, very noisy with planes going over head all day and night. We stayed for 2 nights. Laundry room was dirty. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We enjoyed this park but you have to account for the airport noise. This is right under the flight path, both landing and taking off. On Monday morning 5 planes took off between 6:20 and 6:25. That said, we would return to this park. The sites had a cement pad although it was a bit rounded in the middle, there was a cement picnic table and benches at each site, there was a nice grass area between each site, the hook-ups were good. The Wi-Fi was fine during the day but overloaded in the evening. We did not use the pool nor the bathrooms since they were quite a ways away from our site. We heard no noise from the flea market but we were in the back row. Except for the airplane noise, this is a nice park and we would return - and put up with the noise. The pluses more than outweigh this minus. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This park screams out for a split review. The office staff are friendly and helpful, but the staff members who are visible out on the grounds are less than friendly. Also, the staff who drive around in their golf cart type machines do not at all pay attention to the "5 MPH" speed limit purportedly imposed by the signs which are placed in many locations throughout the park. Many of the more long term residents fail to comprehend the speed limit issue as well. One would presume that long term resident believe such limitations are only meant for short term residents/overnighters. It is wise to pay attention to speeders as well as those who drive against the directional signs on the streets. The long term residents, either seasonal or permanent, have a very serious issue with picking up after their dogs. More so if the dogs are a larger breed. Park management should address that but fail to do so. Considering those elements, the park does have good, long, mostly very level concrete pads for parking. A mixed value. We've stayed here before and enjoy this campground. Very easy access to I-95. Full-services, paved interior roads, and concrete pads at every site. The staff is great. Its only drawback is that it sits directly under the approach paths for aircraft landing at Jacksonville International Airport; although, flights are almost non-existent between 11:00 PM and 6:30 AM. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This park could be a 9 or 10, except for it's location and wifi. Very clean and well laid out park with wide concrete pads. All utilities are well placed and work as expected. Wifi was useless since it was sooooo sloooooow. Cable was analog with the usual grainy picture. The big big negative is the parks location directly in the landing pattern of the Jacksonville airport. Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $40.00
Long and wide concrete pads that have a picnic table make this a good overnight stop. As a previous person stated it is noisy (jets, music, etc.) so it is not a good long term stay place. No trees make this a very "sterile" environment. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Very convenient to a very large outdoor shopping center.

It might be the newest park in Jacksonville but its not new. The cracked and worn concrete sites and clean but in need of upgrading restroom/showers show its age. In total its an OK park but the noise will keep me from returning. The previously referenced airplane noise is slightly annoying, but the bar on the adjacent flea market site is unbelievable. The music started at about noon and continued all afternoon and evening making outdoor use of our site impossible and conversation or tv watching inside the rv difficult. Not sure when it stopped, I went to bed with ear plugs and a sleeping pill at 11pm with the bass still pounding. It might be better if I wasn't there over a weekend but I don't think I'll chance it. We'll go elsewhere next time. To be fair, the music volume went down about 10pm but it was still too loud. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

All sites are pull throughs and it is very convenient to I-95 for an overnight stop. The desk person was very friendly and allowed us to use Passport America even though they generally do not start that discount until Nov. 1st. All sites are level and have a cement pad. WiFi and cable are included and for $10 you can wash your rig at your site. There is a huge weekend flea market adjacent to the campground. They also have a very nice pool. One exit south on I-95 is every possible store and restaurant you can imagine. Due to the location there is road noise and also military jets flying overhead during the day, but I didn't find that bothersome. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Truth - if you are looking for a place to sleep, this is fine. Close to the interstate, easy in, easy out. However, we felt like we were in a parking lot. Lots of pavement, no trees and glaring sun. There was no one walking around outside. A few nicely landscaped spaces, but not available for overnights or short term stay. Personnel was very impersonal. Will not return. Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $44.00
This is a big park with level concrete pads. Picnic tables and benches are concrete also. The park sits directly under the path for the Jacksonville Airport, which we were not aware of. Easy off I-95. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $44.00
We've stayed here many times because it is so convenient to I-95. Nothing new to add to previous posts except that the plane noise is not awful unless a military jet comes through, then watch out! Wi-Fi is abysmally slow. Clean, level, concrete sites are a plus. It does seem pricey but there is a lot of concrete and that's not inexpensive. For a 45' motorhome, it's fine. We've never stayed more than overnight. Good Sam discount. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a big beautiful park with asphalt roads and level concrete pads. Picnic tables and benches are concrete which is nice. If you want peace and quiet, this is not the place. The park sits directly under the glide path for the Jacksonville Airport. You are never told this. The posted speed limit is 5 mph but the prevailing speed of long term residents into the park is 20-40 mph. It is hazardous and unsafe. The park desperately needs speed bumps. The gym is sparse and the minimal equipment needs to be maintained. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $40.00
All concrete pull thrus, nice and wide. Not sure about prior comment about narrow turns. Plenty of big rigs with toads in the sites and watched half a dozen pull in later with no trouble. Nicely maintained, no shade, but good grass and shrubs. Pool was clean and open, though a bit chilly in early April. Staff efficient, if not particularly welcoming. WiFi strong signal but way too low bandwidth for the number of guests. Depending on the time of day and number of users, it can work fine or it can exhibit very slow loading of webpages. OK to access email. Don't even attempt a video, not even a short you tube. Electric and water fine. Sewer has small sloped collar, so might need an extension. Convenient access to I-95 and weekend flea market. Not much else nearby but great for an overnight stop. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
