Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 3 months - January thru March 2018 on monthly rate of $1025. Have read reviews that were previous to our stay and found none of these problems. The people who run the campground are very kind and work very hard to make your stay a pleasant one. They went far beyond what they were required to do to make our stay a memorable one. The camping areas are either rock or concrete. Many of the concrete areas have been repaired or in the process. Cannot say enough for the campers themselves. Our family had a medical crisis and felt as though we had been blessed with another extended family. We didn't worry about our dog as another camper took care of him. The area we camped in was like a big happy family. We enjoyed campfires, games, social events and happy hours with these people. These people have truly become a part of our lives. We are looking forward to another winter January thru March at this resort. Check out this resort. I think you will love it! We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do. Beaches and fishing nearby. Many excellent restaurant and shopping. If you like to ride bikes, there are bike paths near by. Resort has heated pool, paved roads good for biking and too many social events to mention.

Overall Rating:

All around horrible. Pads dirty with algae and mold. Water had a horrible odor and turns white clothes yellow unless you have multi filters

I will not recommend this park. The manager on site has horrible people skills and needs a class on business etiquette. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on the monthly rate. First, the good. We found the campground to be clean and well maintained. Owners and staff were very accommodating. Most sites are either back-in or pull-in. In most cases, you do not have your neighbor's sewer beside your front door. Spaces are wide in that there is a lot of space between your front door and the front door of your neighbor. Most of the park has concrete pads. Now the bad. We had a back in-site on the back row. Unless you have a roof mount satellite dish, finding a spot for your dish is difficult. The water here is awful, with lots of iron and an odor. We put Iron Out in our softener and back washed it weekly. We managed not to ruin any clothing in our washer. The water is tolerable for bathing, but it leaves an odor on your skin and dishes. We use Clorox in our dish water so that took care of dish odor. Power here was very weak. During the afternoons when A/C usage went up, we had to turn off our A/C units in order to use the microwave. There was one power outage in the park lasting about 6 hours on a 95 degree afternoon. It was not the fault of the owners, but we were fortunate to be home so we could get our pets out. Like other reviewers stated, many of the concrete pads are broken and deteriorating badly. Newer sites in the campground are gravel and very short. Barely big enough for a 40' RV. Also, many of the units there belong to permanent residents with all kinds of clutter around and under their units. If you are visiting Jupiter, this is the only game in town. In the future we will most likely not stay here. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Pet friendly. Super quiet - except for the peacocks somewhere near by. Plenty of trees. Most of the spaces are either pull-in or back-in, only a few pull-throughs. Very secure campground. The water is not great, but it's safe. Use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The camp hosts (owners?) are very friendly and helpful. Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I read the other posts for this RV campground and they have to be either friends of the owners or bogus posts. The Staff are nice people and I like them very much. But the RV "Resort" (what an abuse of that word) was just horrible. Unfortunately paid for a month in advance before I found out what I got my self into. I had several issues with the property and ask the owner if he could take care of the issues. I had to actually call the cable company to come and maintain the resorts cable that the owner didn't bother after several request. The showers have yellow grout, but not all of the grout is yellow (you figure that out).

If you have someone that is mobility challenged they can forget showering here; even if they could get passed the yellow grout and I have know idea the last time anybody cleaned it.

As one of the other campers identified the concrete slabs are broken up badly and some of them extend 6-8 inches out of the ground. The water is something to behold and I can not get the (mineral, rust who knows) deposits out of my porcelain fixtures shower etc. I have tried many different cleaners and it won't clean up. I also found the post from JMSRMS January 2011 pretty accurate concerning the arrogant owners. He feels campers are here to serve him (I mean their cash and he not spending a penny on cleaning, repairs or updates) I will never go there again hell on earth...Almost...LOL. Don't come here whatever you do. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground that is well maintained. The grounds are kept very clean, the pool was heated, and the security gate kept things quiet at night. They have a LOT of planned activities and there is always something to do. They usually had some kind of party going on Friday nights, but always ended right at 10:30 which was the beginning of their posted quiet time, which was nice. They had a Neil Diamond impersonator, and many other outside acts come in while I was there. Most sites are concrete, but I was on one of the few grass spots. I enjoyed my time there. That being said, their water is very bad. I was warned by other campers to use the laundromat in town unless I wanted rust stains on my clothes. The water is only suitable to shower and do dishes. Even with my advanced water filter, I bought bottled water to drink and cook with. This was not a huge problem, just something to be aware of. I would still gladly stay there again. Stayed two nights. We seemed to be the only travelers here as park was mostly full of long term folks with messy sites. Interior roads were good, but in general park was run down and in need of some TLC. Next time I am in the area I will look elsewhere. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Beware! The name is misleading. Also the lots are very small and the concrete slabs are broken and dangerous IMO. Bottom Line- Look elsewhere and save your money. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 6 weeks. Access is tight for 40+ft but possible. There are some activities. The same group coming down for 10+ years and very cliquish. The owners are arrogant. We tested the pool to find no chlorine or other sanitizing chemicals. We did not use the pool. They charge $15.00 for internet. We probably would not stay here again. If you enjoy a good time with good people then you will love this place. Camp store on site as well as clean showers and heated swimming pool. Small pond for fishing. Trash pick up at your site. Pet friendly. A few minutes to beautiful beaches. Really love this place!!! We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is our fifth year here. First stay was ten days, now we are up to three months. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Some even visit us in the off-season. The park has some permanents, who are also very friendly and helpful. We came down to see a few spring baseball games and found new friends. We now visit every year. We have all amenities we need for a three-month stay. Owners provide many extras that are unheard of in other campgrounds. Can't think of any place we would rather stay. I would recommend to anyone seeking a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We have been here before so we knew what to expect. Our site was very strange, had to pull in with the front of the motorhome facing the rear of someone's travel trailer. Very tight, small site. Friendly staff, helpful. Very commerical site, but the only one in the area. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Our site was near the sewage plant which is really in the middle of the park. The pumps ran constanltly day and night. The water was brown every morning at about 8-9am. This campground is has a lot of permanents, and the others here are late middle age , early retirmenent partiers. The pad I was on had major cracks . A drunk person walking around is not uncommon as the bar is open early and closes late. The pool was very clean. People were friendly. Jupiter beach is 7 miles away . I would never stay here again unless an emergency. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here on the way to Ft. Lauderdale from St. Augustine. Most of the spots were taken by permanent residents. Some of these residents were a bit scary (one guy was living in a van with a tarp thrown over the side as a room extension). We made the turns OK with the motorhome after dropping the towed. Fair interior roads and not much for scenic viewing, but everything worked OK. The water has a lot of iron in it due to being well water. Thus the yellow tint from the water. I bought a water filter in the store, which was actually about $2 cheaper than Wal-Mart for the same filter. The pool looked clean, but we didn't go into the shower area. There is a nice convenience store at the registration office. It must be the closest beer store as a lot of people were stopping in just to buy beer for the Sunday football game viewing. They allowed our greyhounds which is nice as lot's of Florida parks do not allow larger dogs of any breed. If we needed a spot to overnight, we'd stay here again. It is not a "destination" park by any means. We camped at West Jupiter Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
