Very nice and clean KOA. Staff excellent. Nice pool. there are large sites toward the front and smaller (cramped) sites in the back. We were in the back. Lots of shade--need to trim the trees so your rig doesn't hit the branches. Convenient to Disney attractions. Our satellite did not work because of all the trees. Mainly used my hotspot for internet. Wifi slow. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a week in one of the Premium sites. The site had a large concrete patio, patio table and chairs, a nice Weber grill and a brick fire pit. We had an excellent shot of the Southern sky for satellite reception. As others have stated, this is the nicest KOA we have been in. We had our 40ft 5th wheel, 1 ton dually truck, and a mini van on the site with no problems. The park is a little strangely laid out with no real parking area for registration, and the turns around the office area are a little tight, but manageable. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Traffic can be heavy between here and Disney or Universal so plan accordingly. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

This is the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at. All paved roads and sites. Swimming pool with covered patio area, workout room, dog park, laundry room, playground, cable TV, and WiFi. Site width is ok. Site lengths are good with some up to about 75 feet. Location is fairly close to area attractions and very convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. Not quite up to a true RV resort, but very close. It is just off US 192, but noise was not bad except for sirens at times during the night. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

We generally avoid KOA's, but this one is very nice, clean, and well kept. They keep the 'rif-raf' in the back of the park behind the office. The front 2/3 or so is mostly comprised of fifth wheels and larger motor homes. I found a couple of things odd about this park: (1) the office is toward the back, so you have to drive through the park to even check in and get your site assignment; (2) the 'big rig' sites aren't very big rig friendly. The lady escorting me seemed to be in a hurry and didn't want to wait for me to check mirrors and avoid trees. I came within about 2 inches of one tree while pulling into the site. The asphalt is new, and they don't mind you putting your jacks down without pads. If we return, I'll be sure to ask for a site closer to the front so I don't have to drive all the way through the park making tight turns. Avoid sites 202-216, as they are narrow and the approach is difficult for big rigs. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.
Choose a deluxe patio or premium site. Disconnect your car across the street at Sam's.

Beautiful KOA with a very nice staff. Our yard was perfect. We reported some fire ants and the staff took care of it immediately! Very long pull-thru. We were able to hitch up in the space. Great place to stay for Disney if you don't want to stay on property. They offer a 20% discount for military, police, or fire. That's better than th3e 10% for the KOA card. My only complaint is that it was not gated and people sometimes walked through the park who didn't belong there. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

I understand why this park got such high reviews. It is very clean, well-maintained and the staff is fantastic. That said, it is not at all off-the-beaten-path and you'll get the glare from the shopping centers all around you (great firepit...but it's never ever "dark"!). The internet was horrible which seemed bizarre considering the location.
The turns are very tight but the escort was great. They definitely pack a lot of people in the little park. Not much privacy but all paved and tons of grass around.
Our site was great - very large, had a patio, swing, terrific fire pit. I'd call it one of the best spots in the campground...if not for the lights of the shopping center across the pond! It was give and take I guess.
The biggest negatives were the price, how the shopping center lights shone into the park and the internet. For such a high price and such a busy area you'd think they'd invest in some decent internet. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

This park, while in an urban setting, is beautifully laid out and landscaped. We stayed on a deluxe patio site which included a gas grill, Adirondack chair style swing, and a wrought iron patio set--table and 4 chairs. All this was located on a concrete pad with a separate colored concrete patio. There is a nice dog park. Check in was quick and easy. There was an escort to our site...always appreciated. Sorry we're only staying 2 nights! We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Travel Trailer.
This park is located within minutes of Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios, so there's plenty to do.

I guess the price reflects the tourist area. Significantly higher than Ft Wilderness in the same season. But they had availability.
Tight turn entering park. Had a couple of tight turns inside the campground. Big, open sites.
Very convenient to shopping. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

We had a very long pull-thru site. The sites are not very wide and are close together but because of the length and with them alternating pull in direction there is nothing next to you on either side. The park is very clean and has little road noise even with its location across from Sam's club and near a busy highway. The edges of the patios next to the pad were cracked in all the sites we saw but still level and usable. The turn into the park comes quick and is narrow and sharp and the roads in the park are OK. The sites are not angled and turning into them, even with an escort, required us to drive on the lawn with our 34 foot 5th wheel. Our stay would have been perfect if it were not for loud noise coming from the cabin near us at 4:30 am on our last night. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the best KOA's we've stayed at. The grounds are well cared for with very clean and modern facilities. We stayed for a week while visiting the Orlando attractions and definitely would stay again. The sites are spacious and bug rig friendly. We had plenty of space for our unit (32 feet) and two vehicle. Even though it is right in the middle of shopping, restuarants and tourist attractions, it is still quiet and peaceful enough to get a good night's sleep. The pool and hot tub are open all night and we never experienced any negative issues with noise from other guests. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a smaller RV Park but the sites are very roomy and not jammed next to each other, and most have patio sets that include swings, table and fire rings. All in all, it is a notch above most RV parks with their roominess and a superb staff that goes above and beyond to help you in any way that you need. Entrance and exit to this park is easy and no obstacles or hard turns, plenty of shopping all around the park and grocery stores are close by this park. This is our favorite RV park because it is very close to Walt Disney World and to Universal Studios. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.
There is great shopping all around this park, walk to Sam's Club. There are dozens and dozens of great restaurants close by and the best Restaurant in Florida is close by, it is Boston Lobster Feast, all the lobster you can eat and every seafood imaginable on buffet, plan to eat there at least twice in a week, it is GREAT, you'll love it, we do! We would not go to Florida without visiting Boston Lobster Feast, it is our all time favorite.

This is a beautiful park right in the middle of town. You would never know there was a fantastic campground here if you were not looking for it. The entrance from 192 to seven dwarfs is tight so I would recommend going up to Cecile Dr and waiting on traffic. We have a 40' fifth wheel and this was a much better entrance. Once inside the park there is no trouble navigating big rigs. The pull-thrus are gravel pads and are spacious and LONG. Some of the sites are 134' long. Great playground and dog park. The bathrooms and grounds are the best maintained I have seen, particularly in Florida. The pool and hot tub are clean and well cared for. The staff is super friendly. The back in sites are gravel and better suited for smaller units but can accommodate 40' on a few of them.
Centrally located between both Florida coasts and just a few miles from the major attractions in the area.
There are other options in the area but this is the best choice particularly for big rigs. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We selected this KOA campground for the proximity to both Disney and Universal theme parks. We stayed for nine nights. It is close to a major parkway so there is some road noise. The grounds are nicely landscaped. The pool offers a relaxing spot after a day of crowds at the theme parks. We encountered a problem with the laundry; a previous user overloaded the soap dispenser causing a major suds issue with our load. The maintenance staff helped remove the suds and reimbursed us for two loads of wash. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.
Convenient to Disney and Universal theme parks. One hour from Kennedy Space Center. Many restaurants nearby. Sam's and Target within walking distance; Walmart within 5 miles.

BEST KOA we have ever stayed at! We were just passing through to visit friends in the area and didn't want to pay the excessive fees for Ft Wilderness for just a weekend. Site 108 was perfect for our 43' 5th Wheel and we even had a lot of grassy area. We were close to the VERY nice and clean pool, the office, and the playgrounds. Lots of roads to walk our dogs. Even has a Waffle House located within walking distance. Found this KOA to be very centrally located to everything in Orlando that we wanted to go to including Disney. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for 4 nights while judging a BBQ contest held at the Sams Club right next door. Our fellow campers were great to meet, the office staff quite nice, and overall it was a pleasant experience. A facility we would use again. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.
