Park was very clean and organized, very friendly staff. Variety of sites, including very nice tent camping sites with fire pits as well as very nice cabins with fire pits. Did not appear to have many long term RV sites. Nice pool and amenities. Good location with regard to restaurants and Disney Attractions. Price was a little higher than average, however I guess because it is in the vicinity of Disney. We had a back-in site that was a bit tight to neighbors but not bothersome. Overall a very nice campground! We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in this KOA for the weekend while visiting Disney World. This campground is an easy drive to Disney, the route to Disney avoids the I-4 highway that is mostly a parking lot from time to time. The campground is very well maintained and clean. We were able to get all 4 bars of cell service from both ATT and Verizon so we did not have to rely on the campground's wifi. The best part of this campground is that the pool is open 23 hours a day. So when you get back from a long day at Disney, lets say after midnight, you can soak in the hot tub or swim in the heated pool. The restrooms were modern and clean. We definitely will be back. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent a week here while visiting Orlando attractions/theme parks. The only negative to offer is their WiFi is terrible (at least during our stay) even for light surfing and email. It kicks you off constantly even on the days when 1/2 the sites or more were unoccupied. The facilities and grounds are all top notch and well cared for/clean. The pool is open 23 hours which was great. Even so, the park was quiet and peaceful. Sites are easy in/out, level, and spacious throughout the entire campground. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at the park for a week in June of 2018. The park is very clean and easy to access. Close to all of the Orlando parks. Our spot was space 2013 and it was more than long enough for our 34' motor home pulling a Nissan Pathfinder on a tow dolly - we are close to 60' combined. The only drawback was that the water pressure is a little low, and the wifi kept dropping out on me. That may have been because I was trying to work off the wifi, and my work requires a lot of bandwidth. The staff was very friendly, and the park itself is very clean and well maintained. We plan on making this our primary option any time we are in the Orlando area. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground. It once was an older KOA, with tight sites, etc, from the old days. BUT, they have done a great job of re-configuring the sites so that there is ample space, and reasonable privacy. Very convenient to all that is Orlando! Spotlessly maintained, very friendly and competent staff. All roads are paved, as are all sites. I would absolutely stay there again. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA park just 15 minutes away from the Disney parks. The park has the standard KOA amenities with good showers, bathrooms and laundry room. They have a nice pool area, workout room and playground area for the kids. Their wifi worked great for the week were there, which is always a nice bonus. We had a pull through site that was over 100' long, so even though the sites are fairly narrow, your neighbor is set up at the other end of the site. Easy access to the freeways and the attractions in the area. See our full reviews and pics at our blog at thegilliamsisland. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a really nice campground, clean and extremely well-manicured. The owners were wonderful and even upgraded us to a deluxe site at no additional charge when our originally assigned site was still occupied. Although a little pricey, it falls in line with other 8 to 10 rated sites in the greater Orlando area. We'd likely plan on staying here again if in the Orlando area. Absolutely a WONDERFUL KOA PARK! This park is located perfectly for going to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, it is right between the two parks. Sites are clean, well laid out and so much all around it. Be sure to pay a visit to Boston Lobster Feast nearby, best restaurant in America! If you love Lobster, you will love Boston Lobster Feast because it is all the Lobster you can eat for one price so go there hungry! They also have great scallops, clams and all other seafood which you can eat along with your Lobster, we make plans to eat there twice every week we are in the area, I would not go to Florida without going to Boston Lobster Feast.............. Tips for other Campers:

If you go to the Orlando Area, this is the park you want to stay at, it is the best located park for the area. And so much better than Disney's Fort Wilderness where it is loud, crowded and located only convenient to Disney World.

Stayed here while on a business trip to the area. The more expensive sites are asphalt and out in the direct sun. There are some back-in spots on the south side of the park that are gravel and have shade and patio slabs. Our site, 117, was triangle shaped, so I was able to cock the trailer so that we weren't staring at the back of the neighbor's MH. Site is exceptionally level and the FHU connections (including TV and WiFi) were within easy reach. Not a comfortable site for late July with the temperatures in the mid 90' and heat index of 105F. (The asphalt does not cool well without a rain shower). Make sure your A/C is working. Check in was easy and all the "yellow shirts" were friendly and very helpful. The provided WiFi worked well. Verizon data and phone worked fine. ATT data was good but phone was marginal to good (unusual). Shower's are separate from the rest rooms and both are located at the south end of the park in the admin building. Overall, a good HOT stay. (smiley face). We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

You are within walking distance of the Sam's Club, Wendy's and Applebee's. US 192 is very busy, especially during the morning and evening rush hour's, so plan your day accordingly. About 20 minutes to The Mouse and the I-Drive area. This area can be a fun area if you prepare ahead and practice common sense safety.

We stayed here for a week in one of the Premium sites. The site had a large concrete patio, patio table and chairs, a nice Weber grill and a brick fire pit. We had an excellent shot of the Southern sky for satellite reception. As others have stated, this is the nicest KOA we have been in. We had our 40ft 5th wheel, 1 ton dually truck, and a mini van on the site with no problems. The park is a little strangely laid out with no real parking area for registration, and the turns around the office area are a little tight, but manageable. We would definitely stay here again. Very nice and clean KOA. Staff excellent. Nice pool. there are large sites toward the front and smaller (cramped) sites in the back. We were in the back. Lots of shade--need to trim the trees so your rig doesn't hit the branches. Convenient to Disney attractions. Our satellite did not work because of all the trees. Mainly used my hotspot for internet. Wifi slow. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

This is the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at. All paved roads and sites. Swimming pool with covered patio area, workout room, dog park, laundry room, playground, cable TV, and WiFi. Site width is ok. Site lengths are good with some up to about 75 feet. Location is fairly close to area attractions and very convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. Not quite up to a true RV resort, but very close. It is just off US 192, but noise was not bad except for sirens at times during the night. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

We generally avoid KOA's, but this one is very nice, clean, and well kept. They keep the 'rif-raf' in the back of the park behind the office. The front 2/3 or so is mostly comprised of fifth wheels and larger motor homes. I found a couple of things odd about this park: (1) the office is toward the back, so you have to drive through the park to even check in and get your site assignment; (2) the 'big rig' sites aren't very big rig friendly. The lady escorting me seemed to be in a hurry and didn't want to wait for me to check mirrors and avoid trees. I came within about 2 inches of one tree while pulling into the site. The asphalt is new, and they don't mind you putting your jacks down without pads. If we return, I'll be sure to ask for a site closer to the front so I don't have to drive all the way through the park making tight turns. Avoid sites 202-216, as they are narrow and the approach is difficult for big rigs. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.
