We have stayed at this GC numerous times in our travels to and from Florida. As previously noted, the campground is easy access from I-10, just one mile north of the highway. We drive a 45ft motorhome with a tow and are able to easily navigate the CG with the car attached, staying in one of their long pull-throughs in the front. The campground roads are asphalt and the sites in this section are asphalt with a grass drive up. The grass portion can be a bit muddy when it rains. Sites are a bit narrow but we are able to get all four tires on and it is relatively level. Utilities are at the middle of the site with sewer toward the back, everything works well although they do ask that you remove wire strainers from your hose connection to assist with water pressure. There are quite a few permanent or seasonal sites (some nice, some a little run-down) so there is a bit of noise as these folks come and go but other than that it is quiet. Wifi is adequate for gentle internet surfing although a bit on the slow side and cable is ok. We got good satellite reception in this area and no OTA channels. Verizon signal good enough. There is an open dog walk to the front of the campground. We will continue to use the CG in the future. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here for a one night stop over. Check-in was quick and easy. Our site was quite long, grass and asphalt. Plenty of room for our45 foot 5th wheel and tv. Relatively easy to maneuver through the park. Wi-Fi was unreliable. Cable tv picture quality varied from channel to channel. We would stay here again for a short stop over. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a campground that was either converted from a KOA or is darned close (the signage and coloring are almost exact). We arrived late but the people were still in the office, very nice folks. The office is open 8-10, then from 2-7, so if you call for a reservation leave a message.

It was a functional stop for us. The sites themselves were not very level and is partly grass but fine enough for an overnight stop. The coffee in the morning was a godsend! This campground seems to be a stop-through for most folks who stay there, at least in the front. There is a back part where there are some rundown rigs. Our fire pit was full of cigarette butts, but not something we used. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice little campground. Reminded us of a KOA with the spaces for tent camping and all of the little cabins. We only stayed the night coming from FL to KY, and we would stay here again. Nice pull-thru spot with a mix of blacktop and grass. You do need to put blocks under the jacks, but they had blocks provided at all of the spots we saw. Good for setting up the DirecTv sat. We would stay here again! We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

This park worked well as a 1-night stopover while traveling across Florida. It was conveniently located about 1 mile north of I10 and not too far from I75. I was given a long, level pull-through site that allowed me to keep my tow car hooked up. Site was also open enough to use my rooftop satellite dish. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Short distance from I-10. Site was 70 feet, mixed grass and asphalt. Was able to pick up Dish but had to pull to front of site to clear the tree as our dish is towards mid-coach. Campground was quiet. Would stay here again when traveling through. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

CG is easy access in and out from I-10. Internal roads and most pull through sites are paved although the longest ones have a run up through the grass. We drive a 45ft MH with a tow and are able to navigate their long pull throughs with ease. Utilities work good enough although one needs to pull off the water filter screen in order to have enough pressure. Cable works OK, Wifi works well, especially early morning and evening. We have stayed here several times and although the CG does not seem to be making any improvements, it is a very convenient, quiet site for a stop-over when traveling through the area. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Our second stay. Older campground. Owners are apparently trying to improve as evidenced by a new rail fence being installed. Other than that, no visible change in two years. Called for reservations one day in advance and when we arrived they has marked us as no-show for night before our scheduled arrival. No record of our previous stay but, when name was entered into their system, our credit card information was there! A bit disconcerting, to say the least. No explanation as we "apparently had not been there before". Several long term guests. Sites narrow with barely sufficient room for slides. Unable to put out awning. Sites are wooded. Restrooms are clean. Did not use laundry. Be sure to use directions in listing as your GPS will bring you through the town. We had a pull-thru site . We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our second time to stay here. The positives are: it's clean, quiet, friendly staff, all pull through sites. Negatives are: poor poor cable tv reception, we had requested two months in advance to stay in a larger site on the right side and had been assured we would get one of these sites, but when we arrived they refused to give us one, even though there was one open the entire time we were there. Overall it's a nice place. All full time or monthly lots were well kept and clean. It was quiet with no loud music. We will stay here again. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very easy to locate, check in and find your lot. It was a little tight parking and setting up. Tight spaces, but definitely doable. Picnic table was so close to our door we could barely get in and out of our unit and this is a one night stay so we are not moving picnic tables. Internet connection was awful. You could connect and it would drop signal, reconnect, drop, reconnect, drop....no signal at all for extended periods causing us to not even bother after several attempts at differing times. TV was clear and satisfactory. We hooked up with no problems. Dog area was okay. A fence at the dog area would be a bonus, but we were pleased to have a walking area. This was a quick in and out and my biggest problem is lack of ability to connect to the internet. This is an older park that is not set up well for the newer larger units. Roads are narrow but it's not impossible just use caution. I would stay again if I needed a one night stay but this would not be my choice for long term stays. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
