Nice park off of I-10. Sites to the rear are larger and more satellite friendly. Sites near office are closer together and have trees. New owners have taken sites in the treed area out of service to provide more room between rv's and parking for toads. Owners were very nice, we had an electric problem on the pole, and was fixed. Good Verizon and T-Mobile signal. Very good park cable. Wifi worked reasonably well. Large grass areas for rover are nice. Interior roads did not seem to be a problem if taken with care. There is noise from I-10 but did not find it a problem. FHU's mid site. There is a gas station at the camp entrance that can be good for gassers towing. We came during the hurricane and the owners were doing their best to accommodate everyone one during the difficult times. Would stay here again. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one night as we evacuated for Hurricane Irma. The staff was very friendly. Sites were close together but we didn't have much noise. The public restrooms & showers (2) were very clean & the showers were wonderful! Nice public space with pool table, coffee, & snacks. We tried to get in again while heading home but they were full. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

Right off I-10, approximately 6 miles East of I-75. Easy on & off I-10, roads in are fine. Check in was easy, manager was friendly and helpful. Internal roads are gravel, but fine. Our site was long, pull thru, grass, full hook up, open to the sky with a small patio and picnic table. Our site's picnic table was broken. The sites are narrow, center is level, however the edges are higher as we had trouble extending our steps without hitting our patio or grass. Our right slide was slightly hanging over the next site's patio. We got great satellite reception, and wifi was fine.

This is an old Florida park that has had some recent upgrades. Laundry room was in a separate little house in the middle of the park. Laundry room has 4 washers & dryers. Newer, and efficient. Wash 1.50, dry 1.00, very clean!

We came in right after Hurricane Irma, and the internal roads were cleared of debris. The maintenance crew was out the two days we were there taking care of the trees, debris as well as cutting the grass. Conveniently placed trashcans & dog waste stations located around the park. They empty them every day. The grounds are maintained.

There is two small ponds with a warning on alligators (that's a given in Florida). A small fenced dog park, as well as green areas to walk dogs. Small, quint, very clean clubhouse with pool table, coffee station, book library. There is also a picnic pavilion and horseshoes.

It's a good park, located close to major highways, just needs to be updated as far as making some sites wider for today's big rigs. Our RV neighbors were quiet. There is an area of full timers, but they appear to maintain their sites. The park is along one side of I-10, therefore heavy traffic noise. The AC & fans buffer the noise but you can hear it, but didn't bother us. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

My site was mostly grass growing up through a little gravel. As long as every other site is used the is plenty of space but if they are all used it would be VERY close. Lots of noise from freeway. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

Traveling from SC to Louisiana & the truck decided to take a vacation. Luckily, it chose the I-10 exit where this rv park is located to stop. Check-in was quick & painless, site was long enough to accommodate our 32' TT, truck, & car. Owners seem to be in the process of beautifying the park & it shows. It's a lovely place with lots of shade. The spaces are a bit close, but our slide & awning could be extended with no problems. Yes, there's highway noise, but if you choose an rv park that runs parallel to a major interstate, that can be expected. I turned on my fan next to the bed & it knocked out most all of the noise. Only an overnight stay until we could make arrangements on vehicle repairs & truck rental to get us where we needed to go, so we didn't use the laundry, bathhouse, or clubhouse. If we are ever in the area again (hopefully for a more leisurely trip), I wouldn't hesitate to choose this rv park. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Travel Trailer.

We only stayed here 1 night; have stayed many times in the past. The grass was cut, the check in was quick and the roads have improved. There are new plants and lots of dog poop bags as well as well placed trash cans throughout the campground. No longer have to go to just one dumpster. The cable worked well; we did not use WiFi. LP gas is available and we availed ourselves of that as well. True, this is not Orlando, Jacksonville, or Tampa but the campgrounds we have checked there charge $50 and up for a night, with a discount. We like to find a good Passport America park but there seem to be less of those so we found the rate here to be reasonable. Most of the overnight spots were filled the night we were here. We will continue to stay here as we travel to and from South Florida. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

Stayed here overnight. The sites were very close as the slides almost touched neighbors. The site was long enough that I didn't have to unhook the car from 40' MH. The people were friendly. There is a clean laundry $1.25 wash and $1.00 dry with newer machines. There was a lounge with a kitchen, TV, Pool table and seating area. Although it is close to I-10 there wasn't a lot of road noise. Prior statements said the road was pot holed but we did not find that to be true. Hard pack gravel road that was relative smooth. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

While the park is very nice, the road out of the park is HORRIBLE!! The potholes were large and deep. It was impossible to avoid them. I was sure the motorhome was going to fall apart. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

We have been staying here spring and fall for years. The park is under new management for more than a year. I was told they made improvements but didn't see any. Prior owner kept grass cut short. The grass was uncut for some time. The exit road has become very bad with potholes most of the way out. Did not use cable. The WiFi was useless. Both WiFi IDs went in and out of service. The rate is overpriced for this time of year even with the Good Sam discount. Good for an overnight stay but that's about it. Lake City RV Resort, owner at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) responded to this review

I'm sorry that you did not have a more enjoyable stay at our Resort. You are correct about the exit road needing repair. The summer storms have created some road problems that are scheduled to be repaired soon.
We have two workampers that are dedicated to landscaping and grass cutting daily. I can only assume that you found a spot where the heavy summer rains caused a delay in cutting. I apologize for that.
Unfortunately, you must have visited us after lightning took out two of our three Wi-Fi towers in the resort. They have been replaced and our Wi-Fi service is once again the best around, as other RV park reviewers have noted.
As for improvements to the park, I'm sorry that you did not have a chance to visit the clubhouse, bathrooms and laundry during this visit. The improvements would be obvious, as they were completely gutted and remodeled with new equipment and furniture. The prior management did not provide cable TV or Wi-Fi in the park, so both of those are also major improvements.
Some other recent grounds improvements include 50 new magnolia trees planted, two semi truckloads of sod and scores of additional plants. Additional ongoing improvements are planned for the future.
Please drop by on your next visit through the area and look around the resort again. I'm sure you will find us to be a great place to stay.

Not a bad park for an overnight stay. Clean and well kept. Plenty of grass areas for rover. Some pull through are long enough not to unhook toad. Roads are dirt/gravel. Sites average width with picnic table. Good Verizon signal. Park has above average cable. Park has wifi but did not use. Coffee and cookies in the rec hall. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

Clean former KOA: 5 miles to shopping and eating. WES worked fine, sites are a little tight and short, but not a problem. Bathrooms and laundry were first rate, clen and well stocked. Grounds were well maintained showing pride in ownership. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Travel Trailer.

Large pull through sites. Not busy so plenty of space. It appears to be a great spot for one nighters coming through. We stayed a week to have some work done on our RV at Camping World. Clubhouse and restrooms are conveniently located and very clean. Free coffee and cookies each morning. Road is a little narrow and a little rough but access was easy. Highway noise is there if things like that bother you. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Fifth Wheel.
