The park was o.k., but it was very confusing to get a site. No direction signs to point you to an entrance. I should have checked RV Park Reviews before I stopped here, but I didn't. Wouldn't have stayed if I had checked. At least the owners have made some improvements since the previous reviews, but they have a long way to go. No office. Self register at the bath house, but the bath house is at the rear of the park. There is a map at the bath house, but again, it is at the rear of the park. If you drive in with the little red cabin on your right, just pull into an empty site on your left, then fill out the registration form. If you go to the bath house first, you'll have to turn around. Don't hit the big billboard!! Lots of road noise from I-75, so you'll likely stay inside your coach. All sites appear to be full hookups with 2 sewer connections. My site was so unlevel I had to move my coach 3 times to get it leveled. Antenna pulled in a good number of stations. No wifi. No fenced dog area. The park is at the end of a mile and a half long, packed sand road. Several permanent residents with beat up RVs. The teenager and his dad (?) who stopped a few times to see if I needed help were very nice. Might have been owners or employees. Just stopped for a night, but I don't think I would stay here again. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground does not have drinkable water, but we knew that so we were prepared for this. We were put on a shared meter lot when we were long stay campers, and it didn't work out. This owner at this park is dishonest. What she has there in amenities is not what is listed. Water is nondrinkable! No Wi-Fi and no cable! We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a one night stopover. The place is noisy. We stayed for the Passport America rate and my one big gripe is I think PA should mention in their add that there are almost 3 miles of Florida unpaved road to drive to get here. Not a place I would choose to come for a one night stopover again. Not a place I would choose to come after a big rain either as the lots are grass. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Motorhome.

The road in is dirt and very dusty. We may as well have been in the I-75 rest stop, as we were less than 100 ft from the interstate, very noisy. Grassy sites, all pull-through. Water is not recommended as is not great quality. Sites are barely level (we had 1 wheel off the ground to get level). Only good for an overnight if you don't have any other choices. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We paid the Passport rate. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not recommended. It is way at the end of a dirt road. Just enough room to pass another wide RV. Deep water troughs on either side. When you arrive, there is no one here to greet you! You have to call ahead and some woman, not the owner, shows up to collect the money. No other campers in sight! Isolated and buggy. The water was yellow. No cable TV as advertized. We got our money back and left. I'd be surprised if they stay in business. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Been checking on parks to spend our winter vacation in Lake City Florida over the summer and was emailing the owner of this park over the summer and she was very helpful even lowered the monthly rates for us ,so we decided to take a chance and go to the park. The week before we were to leave the owner emailed me and told me there was a problem with the satellite company and satellite might not be available when we arrived, also that there was no Wi-Fi available either, but because we needed to go to Florida to take care of business anyway we decided to go to the park anyway. We arrived at the park early in the day and it was hard to find the street the park was on, because there was no sign at the top of the road leading to the park, but we finally found the road leading to the park after passing it up twice. The road to the park was a long long narrow dirt road about 10minutes down from the main road. When we finally arrived at the park entrance there were only 3 campers there that were long term residents. The owners of the park were not there when we arrived, so we asked at one of the campers, were we should hookup and they told us just to choose a spot and the owners son usually comes by sometime throughout the day to collect rent. We hooked up and ran to town for food which was quite a ride. When we returned we asked the neighbor if the owner or her son had been by and they said no. So after sitting there and looking around the park we decided to leave and go elsewhere. There was not much to do at this park if you are not into outdoor activities in the area like the rivers or hunting. This park has no activities within the park, so if your looking for a park with activities like bingo, potluck dinners etc. don't choose this park. We would not choose this park again not enough to do for the price. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Motorhome.
