Excellent, very clean county park close to shopping/restaurants and easy access off I-95. Site was a full HU, level, asphalt site on the lake. There's plenty of room to bike and walk. The entry is gated with an entry code. There's a dog walk, playgrounds, pavillion, boat launch, and picnic areas.
If we had not had reservations elsewhere, we would've stayed longer. We will definitely go back. - Gayle E.
This has to be the best value in the state of Florida, perhaps in the U.S.A. Spotless campground set on a beautiful lake. Close to everything with the ocean only a few miles to the east. We arrived were checked into our spot in a couple of minutes. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. The office stays open until 9 every night. Our spot, #68, was right on the lake. We had a few ducks come to visit every day looking for food. Park rules forbid feeding any wildlife so the ducks left disappointed. All the hookups worked. Many snowbirds here because of the very low monthly rate, about $750 including electricity. The laundry room has eight washers and eight dryers. The machines work on tokens purchased at the office. Ten tokens cost $10. A load of wash is $2 and $1 for a long (an hour?) dryer. Everything was spotless. This was our second time here and we will come back again. Easy in and out. There is every type of restaurant or shopping one would need here. Our favorite park. - artgpo
Hesitated staying here in the past after reading a couple of mostly negative reviews but our recent 2 week stay was all positive. All utilities worked as expected and the WiFi signal was generally good. Our site was level, shaded, and roomy. Staff was helpful and pleasant with them pointing out good areas to see a couple of Great Horned Owls living in the campground. Although the nearby small plane airport seemed busy we seldom noticed associated noise during the day with activity ceasing at sundown. The park outside the campground is pleasant with a fitness path, walking/biking trails, and athletic fields. - Dave F
