9 Parks near Lake Worth, Florida
Sep 2016 - $35.00
stayed in one of the lakeside sites, which have a 2 week occupancy limit. Campground had plenty of sites available, which is typical for this time of year. Winter months will have the campground full, so if you want to camp there in Dec-Mar, you better plan on trying to make a reservation. Had a great time kayaking, and had plenty of "campground visitors"...iguanas, ducks, raccoons, egrets. This is a great county-run campground, and one that we will visit again. - Traveling Warrior
Sep 2016 - $35.00
This is a very large, gated county campground. The park is clean, but some long term coaches are in bad shape. The roads are narrow but passable. The hookups were good and we got 50+ channels using the antenna. The campground is full of geese and ducks so watch where you are stepping. The lake front sites are few so make your reservations early. We've stayed here before and will stay here again when we are in the area. I gave them an extra point because they recycle. - Michael47
Jun 2016 - $35.00
Stayed here 3 nights and got a site that backs right up to the water. The site map they have online is a bit misleading as to size and amount of space between campsites. We stayed in #53 and it was very nice. It is a quiet area too. All the sites are asphalt and ours was perfectly level and fairly wide. I noticed there were other sites that were even wider. All have a large picnic table. We had full hook-ups; some sites don't have sewer so be sure to review their site map or ask when calling for a reservation. We were well spaced apart from other campers. There's trees and vegetation all around as well as tame ducks and squirrels that have obviously been fed and are not afraid. Also saw bunnies, ducklings and even an alligator in the lake early in the morning. I would give it a higher rating but was dissappointed in the restrooms and landscaping. The restrooms were minimal at best. No A/C, ceiling fans, or even exhaust fans so it was very hot and stuffy in there. I didn't even want to try a hot shower. The toilets were clean enough but the sinks had not been cleaned the entire time we were there. Also, many of the sites had grass around them that needed to be mowed. They did have security that drove around occasionally which was good. - new FL camper
May 2016 - $45.00
This is a small park in the Lantana, West Palm Beach area of Florida. You are within a mile and a half of I-95 which makes it perfect for one night or a month. You are also just a few miles away from Palm Beach. The beaches are terrific and the restaurants are decadent. You get to rub elbows with some of the wealthiest people in the world.
The park is well laid out. You are greeted upon arrival and guided to your site. If necessary, help is offered in setting you up. The park is old, but kept up well. The pool is indoors. Shade is minimal, so summer camping is hot. But dollar for dollar you're not going to find a nicer campground in a upscale area with this kind of service very often. I highly recommend Palm Beach Traveler Park in the off season. I don't know the cost per night in January, but if is in the $65.00 range, it's still a bargin. - wmrkl
Jan 2016 - $75.00
This park is all about location. It is close to shopping, golf, etc. We stayed at this park for ten days in January to visit family. A rather small park, located in the middle of a residential area making the sites very tight. We were able to squeeze our 40 foot, fifth wheel into a site with the excellent assistance of a staff member who remained with us to ensure our setup was problem free. Very nice guy! Office staff was very nice and helpful. The park is generally very friendly with lots of dogs. - trimixdiving
Mar 2015 - $75.00
We stayed here for 3 weeks and paid $525 a week. This park is very well kept. There are flowers planted everywhere. The roads are paved and very nice. The sites are pretty close together but everyone was very friendly. There is a heated indoor pool, a community kitchen, and a lounge area with satellite tv. The office gives change for the washers and dryers. There are only 3 washers and 4 dryers but I was always able to do my laundry without having to wait and the machines are all new and work very well. The laundry is open all night long. There are activities all the time from line dancing lessons to pizza parties to live entertainment on Saturdays. It is mostly all snowbirds with a handful of full time residents. There is a fenced in dog run area in the storage section of the park. There is also a dog walk trail around the whole edge of the park. The front of the park is a little noisy from the street, and is right next to a daycare that can be noisy when the kids are outside. The managers are helpful, especially with parking because some of the spots are hard to get into. Not the best for an overnight stay. They are all back in sites, no pull throughs. I would definitely stay here again. - R-Gill513
Oct 2015 - $73.00
Many of the rental sites have old inadequate 50 amp service that blows with three ac being used. Have had low voltage on three different sites. Site had not been used in a while, had hornets and nest in electrical box. Picnic table was turned upside down. When I attempted to turn it up, had bug colony and had to leave it down. - coreys
Feb 2014 - $66.00
This is an ownership park and has been around for some time. This makes it an extremely tight park on the interior roads but the skilled management seemed to totally know how to get big rigs into the sites. Roads and sites are all paved. Sites are fairly narrow but with great landscaping everything seems very private. Wi-Fi not so good. Pool is nice, but we didn't get to the clubhouse. The entrance to the park is quite hard to see. It's actually the driveway to an adjacent water park. Use care to locate the turn. Check-in by the way, is through the entrance gates and well into the park. Don't stop at the water park office as we did! You will definitely want to unhook the tow upon arrival. We'll stay here again. - jeffnbarb
Jan 2014 - $65.00
Park is pretty. Well landscaped. The park sits between I-95 and a very large water park and is in a very seedy industrial area that borders on a very ROUGH area of town. The noise from I-95 is easily heard through out the park most days and in spring / summer / early fall the water park is in full swing and also very noisy. Streets are very narrow and tight. There are 45ft RV's in there but it is very tight. Some sites it is not possible. If this park were in a different part of town it would be much nicer but given its proximity to some very rough areas of town I would say it diminishes the score greatly. Landscaping in the park is top notch. Pool areas are also excellent. Owners club is very good as well. Biggest issues are the narrow streets, smallish sites and the surrounding area is atrocious. - Aridon
Jan 2016 - $28.00
The family that owns this RV park all work it daily. So it is very clean and well maintained.
However, there are no recreational facilities or activities here whatsoever. And the Wi-Fi is very unreliable and frustrating.
This park is on a very busy highway, has large car dealerships on both sides, and the rear is adjacent to train tracks.
You will be within walking/ biking distance of stores and restaurants. - mountainmaury
May 2015 - $40.00
We were impressed with spacious sites, cleanliness, friendliness, price for a private city park. On the highway, but quiet. Unlike previous reviewer, we were offered a code for using showers after closing, as they are locked for security. We were offered names of local establishments. Highly recommend. - judy p
Jan 2014 - $26.00
Price reflects monthly with electric metered. Stayed here Dec.
and Jan. The park is in metro area between two busy car dealerships that are noisy and lit up and has a busy train track on the west side. After check in, we asked about using the restrooms and showers and the owner informed us that we must come during office hours to get key!!! She said "we only rent to self contained units". WiFi did not work well as park got busy. The laundry is reasonable but was not cleaned while we were there. Trailer and propane sales are a big part of business thus trailers are parked on every available site and around the perimeter of the park making it feel like you are staying in a car lot. The plus is that they are 1.5 miles to beach and is gated with partial fencing. We think you can do better than this park. We feel that you could find a better place to stay. - camperbrave
Jun 2016 - $63.00
Beautiful KOA campground. The grounds were very clean and easy roads to follow. The staff was super courteous and friendly. The manager complied with our request for a shady pull-through and close to the roaring lions.
It accommodates RVs, motorhomes, tents, and for those who don't have a tent, they have huge tents and cabins, where you only bring your linen and camping gear. The pool was nice and clean. - Winny The Happy Camper
May 2016 - $75.00
Well maintained park, when I arrived I was surprised at how attentive the staff was and how helpful they were in getting me to my site. One thing I didn't care for was the campers disregard for quiet hours, I was woken to several screaming kids at 6AM (although to be expected from a family campground). I felt safe throughout my stay, not far from my house so I will certainly visit again. - A Chevalier
Jan 2016 - $75.00
Lovely park. You hear the lions roar in the morning. Large, nice pool. Good pull through spaces.
Friendly staff. - Clmhq

Oct 2016 - $34.00
While our stay was pleasant and it is a very nice park...close to the beach and shopping..I was disappointed in leaves and branches only picked up once a week...laundry room in F area were very dirty and machines broken...but mostly we had to leave due to Hurricane Matthew per the Parks and Governor's request.. they would not refund any of our monthly fee...for the week we did not get to stay...and I believe that is against Florida's law and price gouging per their Attorney General....so will will not be going back nor recommending this Park. - Spinks
Feb 2016 - $95.00
A few things: South East Florida has very few campgrounds and even fewer campgrounds within walking distance to the beach. There may be 1 or 2 others but they most likely will be state campgrounds where your stay is limited to 2 weeks "IF" you can get in and the rest are not within walking distance. LOCATION is everything and this park has it! YES it is tight. The park is an old Yogi Bear Campground rescued from foreclosure. It's location is also one of it's problems, as there is NO room for expansion. Sites are kinda small and EACH site is individually owned. This park IS NOT owned by some faceless corporation. Each lot is owned by individuals and as such each individual has SOME say in how their lot looks. So IF you stay here please treat the property as you would your own. Yes, there are a lot of park models with seasonal residents. MOST all are very friendly and welcome guests to the park but as with anything there will be those who do not have a good attitude. Just avoid them. Yes it is kinda expensive during season but I challenge you to find anywhere else that has this good a location and is cheaper. We have looked and there aren't any. Word to the wise, if you want to stay here, reserve EARLY. There are a limited number of rental sites available and they go FAST! After spending three winter seasons traveling both coasts from Jacksonville to the Keys to Panama City, this is the only campground we found that has the location and amenities that this CG has. Some lots are extremely tight while others are more spacious but all are accessible if your the least bit good at driving your RV. All sites are back-in that I am aware of. And if your new at this or just not comfortable backing in, just ask, someone WILL help you get parked. We have traveled across the USA and Canada 3 times and this is the first and only park that we liked so much that we bought a lot here. So yes my review may be a little biased but it's also no skin off my nose if you don't stay here. - Rick & Gail
Mar 2015 - $70.00
The lots are rather close to one another, but our lot was sufficiently private and peaceful, being in the very back. It appears to have lots of activity for retirees, recalling a truck driving around with a loudspeaker announcing activities for the evening. With blacktop and curbs, it's neat and tidy. It's walking distance to the beach. Overall, really nice ... just a bit tight re: lots. - Sally Kely
Jun 2014 - $50.00
This is one of the worst parks we have visited and the most expensive. The sites are cramped, unlevel, full of weeds and ants. When we put out our slide out we almost hit the trailer next to us. The front office person did not seem happy about answering any questions we had. There is also a train nearby which makes sleeping difficult. Overall it was an unpleasant experience and I would strongly advise people to look elsewhere to stay. - fontina
Nov 2009 - $42.00
Despite the bad reviews, we needed a place to hook-up and stay nearby, while visiting family for the holiday. This is definitely not a place for kids. Don't even bother to come with kids, because you will get the stare down look from the nearby neighbors. The other reviews are true, but if you are just looking to hook-up and not planning to stick around the park that much, it's probably fine. Apparently, the summer is pretty dead here, but we are here just before the holiday and there are a ton of snow birds from Canada; mostly over 55 community. We arrived after 8PM on a Sunday and made it to our campsite OK. A lot of permanent or long term residents. When my kids jumped out the RV to greet their grandfather, that met us at the park, the neighbors came outside a little disgruntle at the noise (which wasn't that loud), but since they obviously are not use to kids here, we seemed to be disrupting their quiet kid less park. Since we are not Canadian and in our 30's, we definitely seem to be the topic of conversation in the park. It's actually pretty funny that as plain as we are, that we can be that much entertainment. We dropped the kids off with their grandparents and my husband & I are enjoying a little senior RV living and quiet time in the hot South Florida sun. - CasillasCampers
Apr 2009 - $45.00
This is a very poorly maintained campground; many sites are in very bad repair and lots of extended stay. The folks here are not very friendly or helpful. I feel it is way overrated, and wanted others to be aware. - jfitterman
Nov 2015 - $65.00
We were schedule to stay there for 3 days. The space we were put in was a paved parking lot with sewer, water and electric. (6 places in a row with lines. We were put in between two other large RV's. The space was so tight that we could not put out our sides without hitting the other RV's. We called the office to see if we could get another site but the office was closed. We called the maintenance phone number and had the man come over to see the issue. After moving back and forth for almost an hour we finally got it to fit with the sides out. You could walk down our stairs and walk directly up our neighbors stairs. No cable was available, so we left the next morning. Fortunately our next location could take us earlier then planned so we went on. The electric, water and sewer hookups were placed well, but after looking at other sites, they would not have worked well either so we went on. Staff was great and understanding. They did have a good laundry room, pool area and everything looked clean. I wish the site we had was set up better, but other sites I saw looked tight also. They have one slab near the front and another slab in the back on the opposite side. I guess smaller RV's would be OK. Sorry but I would not stay there again, but others may find it acceptable. - al alvarez
Aug 2014 - $71.00
We came during peak season so the place was packed. This campground really milks every square inch of space. Standard sites are barely wide enough to open the slides. We took a tape measure and the space between our neighbor's door and our slide was 4 inches!!! (I am not exaggerating - I'm happy to provide a photo). I don't know the history but I suspect this place was founded by Canadians, as there is a huge French Canadian population (snowbirds) here that they cater to. Even the live music they had playing by the pool was mostly in French, as were almost all of the notices on the bulletin board, and very few people here speak English. There isn't anything pretty to look at either. It is like one enormous parking lot. Even if it wasn't filled to the brim, there wouldn't be much to see. This place is way too overpriced for the lack of space and landscaping. - cherylbrv
Jul 2013 - $18.00
This park has the Worst sewer hookups I've ever seen - they are under the RV clear in the middle. It also has the worst stickers in the grass of anywhere we've been. The park would have gotten a rating of 1 if it weren't that the office staff were so helpful at check-in time. We will not revisit this Park - Kent Savage
Jul 2016 - $4.00
This park was a mobile home park, converted to RVs. The water and electric hook-ups are on the wrong side of every site. The sewer connection is in the middle of the site, under the RV! You have to crawl under the rig to connect. The roads are narrow, making it difficult to maneuver a big rig. We had to drive through two other sites to get out of our spot. Luckily the park was almost empty, so it wasn't a problem.
We booked 10 days through Coast to Coast, but only stayed one night. There is no security, the gates open for anyone who pulls up. The park is in a rough part of town, and we didn't feel comfortable staying there. - The Sauntering Sampsons
Oct 2015 - $40.00
This is a bare bones park for sure. But, the grounds and campsite were clean and didn't look bad. And we felt very safe in the neighborhood. Funny thing was I still have absolutely no idea where the office is. We never saw anyone walking around. We didn't need the restrooms but the folks next to us said they were recently remodeled and were very nice. We stayed one night and are not looking for area activities or night life. Since we couldn't find an office we just found a site with a 50 amp plug. We would stay here again. - User529
Feb 2012 - $57.00
RUDEST staff, very disorganized, and even though it's in a good location for shopping, etc., there's not much for the kids to do, and there is no gate upon entrance. I would not recommend this park for families. Also, I found the managers were arrogant and unorganized. - SparkyTonk
