We had a bad experience staying at this park and would not recommend it. The lady in charge is very rude with very poor customer service skills, not willing to work or listen to you. We have stayed at many RV parks and this place is not worth the money, from amenities to customer service. We will never use them again! They only allow 6 people per site and if they "think" you have more than that they will wreak havoc and by the way they did not even attempt to confirm the amount of people per site just assumed. Really horrible experience and we were forced to cut our vacation short. Just horrible. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The cleanliness problem was in the bathhouse, which was not kept clean. Also, there were too few trash bins available around the grounds. Otherwise the place was quite clean and satisfactory. When we arrived the person who led us to our site was unclear and unhelpful about whether we would have to unhook our tow dolly and, if so, where we would put it. They announced both a movie night and later a game night, neither of which happened. The beach setting of their bar and restaurant, "Lobster Crawl," is delightful; we went there twice. The food was okay, and the service, except for one surly bartender, was good. The pool and pool area are clean and attractive. Very inconveniently the water and power hookups are on one side of the site and the sewage on the other. Water and power lines had to run under the van. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're a scuba diver, patronize Florida Keys Dive Center, which is easily accessible. Key Dives is closer, but their dive masters and boat captain are not as safety conscious as they should be. If you need a vet, Island Paws was helpful to us in getting a prescription filled.

We stay for two months in the winter, so we might have a different point of view from someone coming down for the first time. Yes the sites are very close to gether, but we don't come to Florida in the winter time for the size of the site. The weather is wonderful, the food is out of this world. And the vast majority of the people that work in Fiesta Key are very very nice. The people that you meet (Your neighbors) are also terrific. So, when you add up the beautiful weather, the terrific people and the incredible food. That's why we like Fiesta Key so much. Plus.... Location, location, location! Passport America use restricts site selection to the back-in section that doesn't have sewer connections. Absent PA, this place is too expensive. The sites in this area are very close together. 4 sites share a utility connection point so it is on the wrong side for two users and requires running long power cables and hose. It does have good cable TV. No WIFI, but AT&T data worked fine. The showers were clean but really need updating, and had no amenities at all: no soap dish, stool, even no clothes hooks.

The original site we were given was unusable because neighbors had encroached. Several sites were open so we moved. Management was certainly helpful, but the place really needs an escort service to insure that incoming campers set up correctly. Given how tight the spaces are, conflicts must be frequent.

The site was too narrow to get our big awning out, but it was so windy that we wouldn't have used it anyway. I had to trim a couple of limbs to clear the slides. Our mirrors hung over the end of the site which was supposed to accommodate 45'.

The park has three large tent camping sections that were very busy, a small marina where boats on trailers were coming and going and a small restaurant and bar. All together a very busy place on the weekend: lots of kids riding bikes, radios, grills going, family groups , etc.

That all said, the setting is spectacular, with panoramic views of the ocean complete with gorgeous sunsets. Our site was one row back from the waterfront sites and we had water views. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Old run down park that needs lots of TLC. The spots are very close together - they have RVs back up next to each other so bedroom slides are sometimes just a few inches apart. It was very muddy and we witnessed several RV's have a difficult time getting out of their spots. There are two hot tubs but both are small and old. WiFi is offered in two spots and both are poor if there more than a few people using it. Make sure you have surge protectors on your electronics. The office team was friendly during check in. We did have a problem with our water hookup, but the maintenance team responded very quickly and soon had the problem resolved. What they could not do anything about was the very low water pressure. The grounds were attractive, even after all the rain they had recently had. The biggest drawback was the sites were so tight. I literally could not open my awnings because they would have touched the RV next to me. I could not even walk around my motorhome without going onto my neighbor's site because the vegetation separating sites was jammed up against the side of my motorhome. It was a place to park. An expensive place to park. I am not sure I will be back, even with the friendly folks on staff. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Anything you want to do will be about 25-50 miles either north or south. Be prepared to drive a lot. Key West is about 90 minutes south. Key Largo is about 25 miles north. In between, if you enjoy boating, scuba, or snorkeling, there are many options.

We had read both the good and bad reviews before we came. And hoped that the park would be more of the good. Sadly that wasn't the case. We had booked a waterfront site and knew that site selection was on 1st come basis according to their site so got to the park early. The site they gave us literally had the dump station in front of it and was next to the road to marina. Our waterfront was a small flow of water and a mangrove. We had passed 2 empty sites with beautiful water views on our way to our site so back to the office we went. Apparently those sites were for people traveling together. So much for 1st come 1st serve. We got moved to the other side of the park with a water view but not front. And found ourselves in the middle of the seasonal section. People have 2 sites with an outdoor carport set up on the 2nd one. The pool is falling apart, the "beach" is cause sand surrounded by a sea wall with ladder into deep water. Needless to say not kid friendly at all. There was lots of trash on the ground throughout the campground. Only good thing here is the restaurant which unfortunately isn't open every day so we only ate their once. Food was good and staff was friendly. Oh and lastly if English is your primary language you will certainly feel out of place. Dont stay here but if you do, bring a table as many sites don't have them. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Our space along the water was a little tight, but still able to accommodate a slide-out on either side.

Lots are gravel with concrete patio and picnic table and 30/50 amp service. My wife saw a manatee down near the marina. Resort has a marina store and a Tiki bar/ Lobster Crawl restaurant.

Tip - If you go to the Lobster Crawl restaurant ask if Mangrove Mike is the chef before ordering. Reason is I went and had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich that was excellent and my wife and I went back and she ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich only to receive a BBQ chicken sandwich which was very dry and hard. Any chef that can't tell the difference from chicken and port shouldn't be a chef. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

First off you have to realize right off the bat that this is the "keys" and your going to pay more for A LOT less. The spots here are extremely tight and you'll be very acquainted with your neighbors!!

Check-in is a bit confusing as the office is past the front gate, so you have to park and then walk all the way through the gate and find the office. The staff is very friendly and seem to try and please. We checked in, got our spot, only to find someone already parked in it. They were accommodating and gave us a spot close by of equal value that was empty but talking to folks around camp, this is a COMMON occurrence.

The bar/restaurant is nice with a small variety of pub style food.

Pool is decent, large and has a separate kiddie pool, its a salt water pool. Lots of chairs but only shade is on the high top tables.

Beach is OK, if you want to sit and sunbathe or just sit at a hightop table and relax. not enough sand to play in, and rocky sand anyhow. They advertise a ladder to the water which is true but they also let everyone fish from there so you'll have play in the water while you dodge poles and hooks and nets!!

Los Of stuff they say is on their Fix-it-list, but in 8 days we saw not one bit of work being done.

NOT a lot of staff around, which has its pros and cons. One is they are not constantly all over you personal space telling what to do and not to do; on the other hand it allows others to break any rule they want. Things like glass on the pool deck, pets in the pool, fires at campsites, etc.

So overall pricey but nice! We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Encore is working on improving this park and it is a good thing because it needs it. We found the staff to be unorganized, and at times rude. Change maker in Laundry room is broken, went to office for change and made us feel like we were bothering them.

We had a pull through site which was large and had plenty of room. It was confusing as to which site we were in, and others had same problem. The sites around us needed gravel, they were muddy. There were trailers that had not moved in years and were not road worthy.

Location is great, but encore really needs to improve this campground, there are a lot of issues. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

There are signs all over the facility saying "It is on our fix it list." Well, they are right, and during our week stay, we never saw a single repair being done. The best thing about camping here is watching the sunset each evening. Everything else- site, pool, hot tub, restaurant, bathrooms, showers- were subpar. We do not plan to return. Our first stay, but not the last. Very please with overall park condition and efforts to improve. Park is an old KOA park so some sites are short. We are in a 31' motorhome, site length 35', however width is sufficient for slides and parking beside rig. All sites have concrete pad. Interior roads are paved and in good condition. Nice walk around park and concrete along water front. Good restaurant on site. Pool is very nice. Encore is making efforts to update this rv park. On site restaurant has limited but varied menu. Prices reasonable. The park takes up the entire land with water all around. Will definitely stay here again, already making plans. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

My husband and I live in Florida and drove our motorhome 8 hours and pulled into the Fiesta Key Rv Resort to see if they had any open sites. At first, we were thrilled for finding it and the rate was $70 but 50% off so we reserved a site for 3 nights. We ended up leaving early after 2 nights as we had a few issues with this place. First of all, the office had 2 staff but was shorthanded and they had a line and busy phones and you could tell they were flustered. Our site was small and very close to the neighboring sites. We backed in our Motorhome and had tree limbs hanging on top of the bedroom. I went to the office and waited in line for a half an hour to report it & was informed they would send someone the following day, which no one ever showed up & my husband went up on the roof and trimmed the branches himself as they were making scratching sounds on the motorhome. The Cable Tv had a snowy picture and never did come in clearly. The Electricity went off a couple of times and came right back on. We went to the on-site restaurant for dinner which is "self-service" meaning you order at the bar, no waitress there. The pepsi was out of order and they didn't have any iced tea pre-made but they made a pot for us. There was only 2 staff on duty with a full dining room so they had a limited menu of only pizza or deep-fried foods. Therefore, we opted to go back to the camper and order Delivery food instead. We had gotten a menu from the office for a restaurant that delivered, and decided what we wanted to order & called them to find out that they no longer deliver. Since we didn't have a vehicle with us, & there is absolutely nothing in walking distance to the campground, we ate hotdogs that we brought with us. This campground has no shops, stores or anything in walking distance. also, one of the hot tubs on site was empty and the other one was full of leaves. The only good thing about this campsite is the location on the water/bayside, if you have a boat or rent a boat for full enjoyment. We would not recommend staying here unless you have a separate vehicle needed to enjoy the other attractions in the area and/or a boat for the fishing. Unfortunately it was not the best experience for us. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
