We stayed here for one night. It is a very nice KOA out in the country west of greater Palm Beach. Check in was efficient, friendly and professionally handled. Getting into my pull through site was a little tight and tricky, but I had the usual KOA golf cart guide to help. I actually got more detailed step by step direction than I am used to. We were here on a weekend night and a lot of the visitors seemed to be there enjoying the recreational facilities which appeared to be quite nice and well maintained. The park in general is in good shape. You could actually hear the lions sounding off in the Lion Country Safari right beyond the park fence. The host at check in advised us that it would be a possibility. I would stay here again. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the high-dollar mansions along Ocean Boulevard (A1A) in Palm Beach, including Mar-a-Lago. Just don't tow anything on the trip. The highway is narrow and there is no real good place to park or turn around!

It's always fun to camp here and listen to the lions and monkeys next door. Easy drive into this KOA. Sites are grass and sand (it's Florida!) with a concrete pad. Some sites are large and some are fairly close together, many have trees. The pool is always a "delightful" temperature, office staff is very friendly and helpful, and there is a large dog park. The new Publix and other strip stores are just a couple of quick miles away. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

Great campground! Worked out every morning listening to the lions roar!! The office was super friendly & got us a better rate than we booked because they had a 3 night discount. Spaces were well maintained and not too close ( compared to other KOA's) After hours gate was a comfort. Great location - could get to everything! Lovely pool & great laundry facilities. Hope to go back soon! We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Paved roads and mostly paved sites. Did not go to see the Lions, but heard them every day!! Very friendly, easy to find from I-95. No problems getting in or out of campsite. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful KOA campground. The grounds were very clean and easy roads to follow. The staff was super courteous and friendly. The manager complied with our request for a shady pull-through and close to the roaring lions.

It accommodates RVs, motorhomes, tents, and for those who don't have a tent, they have huge tents and cabins, where you only bring your linen and camping gear. The pool was nice and clean. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Try taking advantage of the excellent Spring-Summer specials which include the camping plus admission tickets to Lion Country Safari for up to four in your site and reservations can be booked through March of the following year. Don't pass going through the safari, as many times as you want and rent one of their vans for only $10; it is worth it. The adventure park and water slide is for kids, but the beautiful landscapes and different pathways make the stay very pleasant.

Well maintained park, when I arrived I was surprised at how attentive the staff was and how helpful they were in getting me to my site. One thing I didn't care for was the campers disregard for quiet hours, I was woken to several screaming kids at 6AM (although to be expected from a family campground). I felt safe throughout my stay, not far from my house so I will certainly visit again. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great campground. It's not a parking lot. Lot's of trees. The staff was very accommodating, and very friendly. You can hear the lions in the morning as they and you are waking up around 8 or 9:00

Will definitely go back again. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

This park is located just outside of the attraction Lion Country Safari so we heard the lions roar a few times a day. Once at 5:30 in the afternoon and once at 6:30 in the morning. This alone was well worth the fees. if you ask, admission to the park is included which equals to no charge for entry to the park twice if you stay two nights. That was a great value. This park is very easy to access and the sites were well laid out. The park is clean and the staff was helpful helping us to our site. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed here two adults and a kid. We liked it, but we found it a little bit pricy. We paid 74$ for each night, stayed 3 nights. If you stay 2 nights or more, they will give you tickets for the Lion Safari Park, which is nice to go around with the car and kids love it. Waking up with the lions roaring is a great feeling! Swimming pool was great. Wifi worked well and bathrooms were clean. The worst part of this campground is the location. It's a little bit far from the closest grocery, around 3 miles. More than 15min from Publix or Walmart. But overall was good. Campground was not even 1/4 full, so was very quiet. Also make sure to check in before 10pm. We would repeat if we go back to West Palm Beach. Price reflects KOA discount, that's why we think is a little bit pricy. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very unique RV park located in Loxahatchee, which is very close to Palm Beach (about a 20 minutes car ride).

The campground is big and the sites are generously sized. Needless to say, given where it is and what it is, there are many families with children staying in this campground. The park is well maintained and clean. The people are friendly. As a bonus, you will be listening to the roar of lions several times a day and sometimes during the night.

This RV park is easy to find, easy to get in and out of and recommended. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

As the name implies, this RV park is immediately adjacent to and bordering on to the Lion Country Safari Park. It is a drive-through safari park which takes about 30 minutes from beginning to end. In addition to lions you will see many other exotic animals and if you were ever thinking about feeding a giraffe, you will have a chance to do that, too. $2.50 buys you a handful of salad leaves which you can handfeed to the giraffes which will come to you while you stand on the top of a platform about 15 feet above the ground.

The campground is close to Palm Beach, which is a famous town on the Florida East coast.

If you like to oogle MacMansions, this is the place to do it. Well, you can try because most of the houses have huge privacy fences consisting of 10-15 feet tall hedgerows which nearly block all views from the streetside. The small glimpses you can catch will tell you that there are lot of very rich people in this town. That is even more evident if you visit the main shopping area in Palm Beach on Worth Ave which is lined on both sides by super expensive shops. The occasional Rolls Royce, Bentleys, Mercedes, BMW as well as fancily and expensively dressed people complete the picture.

We stayed here on a 3 night package for $155 which included entrance into the Lion Safari Park for up to 4 people for 2 days. (This deal is available from April-Dec normally but they were doing a trial extension when we stayed there - WE HOPE THEY CONTINUE THE DEAL YEAR ROUND!). We also stayed an extra night for $68. The park is very clean, tidy and the access roads are excellent. We stayed in a pull through site with full hookup. The sites are spacious and tidy with a concrete pad and picnic table. The laundry facilities were clean and tidy and everything worked. The showers were exceptionally clean and tidy also. Activities are available at the park, such as shuffleboard etc. The Lion Safari Park is excellent with a drive through to see the animals which includes use of a CD to listen to a commentary about what you are seeing as you drive through. Then there is a walk through area where you can feed the giraffes and some other animals and some rides for children and a water park area for the children. Many many animals and plants for all over the world are to be seen. We look forward to returning to the park again soon. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second stay here. Most of the sites are great; large and wide. There are a few that are tight together, but we managed to avoid those. The pool is much larger than normal, and I even manage to swim lengths in it. It is very quiet at night, and you can hear the lions from the Safari Park next door. The park is very well a managed, and the staff work hard to help out with any requests. The only negative comment is that the park is very focussed on seasonal campers, so getting a specific site during the winter vacation can be hard, even when reserving well in advance. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for four months. The place is way over priced and on the weekends anything goes. I had teens running around at 2am several weekends. If you don't request it, mowing and weed eating is not done on the site. Too many of our friends from the North border take over the campground and our generally very rude. We left two months early because of the atmosphere in the park. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
