3 Parks near Marianna, Florida
Jan 2015 - $20.00
This is the one of the worst campgrounds that we have stayed at in the 15 years we have been full timers. There are FEMA trailers all over and trash by a lot of the live-in's. The sites are very unlevel and you can barely fit into the sites. - ob's place
Nov 2014 - $40.00
I am tough when rating campgrounds, and I rate this one average. It is not a resort, nor is it a dump. Ample spacing between sites, my site not level so need cribbing under tires. Roads are dirt and would be muddy during rain. Swimming pool appeared to be clean. Store and with diesel and gas on site. There is a small boat ramp and areas to go fishing. I will use this campground on my return trip. - LeeMedic
Oct 2014 - $20.00
Price reflects PA rate. This place is fine for an overnight stay, and maybe longer if you want to fish on the lake next to it. I had a pull through site on the grass that needed some leveling, but close to the bathrooms. Showers were down near the checkin and were plentiful and clean too. Not sure about earlier comments regarding the pool--it was sparkling clean and fenced. It was easy to find, Walmart up the road near the Pilot gas station. There does seem to be a lot of full timers, but they are at the back of the large area and away from the overnighters. I filled up at their gas station, even though it was more expensive, but it was a lot easier maneuvering my rig through it than the crowded Pilot. I would stay there again. - cinharover
Jul 2012 - $31.00
We have been here before, but the park is going down hill. The interior dirt roads are deeply rutted, and big potholes. The sites have concrete slabs for the tires, but they are breaking and in need of repair. The park has certainly gone down in the last few years. - wilpower
Apr 2012 - $34.00
The park is for a quick stay and that's. We barely parked and one of the residents stopped by and talked and talked. The the manager showed up and talked and talked. Sites in poor condition. Gravel and small roadways. Just passing through from FL and we get a sales pitch to stay for the winters. We own in FL. Will choose a different park if we go through there again. - nomosno2012
Oct 2011 - $31.00
Managers very friendly and ready to help. The roads look very narrow as you pull in, but had plenty of room (43ft + toad) to maneuver to our parking spot. Mostly packed sand with cement strips (not in good repair) for the tires. Many permanent residents, one of which is a woman whose attributes are apparently producing children and screaming at them. Neighbors TV was loud late at night, as well as neighbors coming and going..talking and slamming car doors. No satellite reception where we were. Park is over priced. Next time I will stay at the local Wal-Mart. - Westside
Jun 2015 - $26.00
Stayed here many times in past, first time since they upgraded sites to full hookup. This was a great improvement to the campground. Love coming back to the "mother land", and this is a great place to stay any length of time. Being in the woods of north Florida and enjoying the animals and weather. Park employees are great and help when needed.
Park is located on the grounds of the Florida Caverns. - fire23c
Apr 2015 - $24.00
Gorgeous spot to camp with big generous campsites. Firewood is on sale there for $4 but was soaked and wouldn't burn. We were there in spring and everything was damp damp damp. However the birds (especially woodpeckers) are abundant and there is a nice trail right near the campground. The swimming spring is within an easy walk of the campground looked very attractive and we saw some families having a lot of fun if you like deep water. I would have given it a 10 but there are ants everywhere in the campground so put some vaseline on your electric cord and do ant preparations for that. It is a wild place. - Judy Birchland
Apr 2015 - $24.00
The park is somewhat remote. We were able to find it with very little trouble, but you have to pay close attention to the road signs.
The Campground was well-forested and the campsites were sand/gravel.
Restrooms were very clean and modern. - indiana journey
