This is the one of the worst campgrounds that we have stayed at in the 15 years we have been full timers. There are FEMA trailers all over and trash by a lot of the live-in's. The sites are very unlevel and you can barely fit into the sites. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo

I am tough when rating campgrounds, and I rate this one average. It is not a resort, nor is it a dump. Ample spacing between sites, my site not level so need cribbing under tires. Roads are dirt and would be muddy during rain. Swimming pool appeared to be clean. Store and with diesel and gas on site. There is a small boat ramp and areas to go fishing. I will use this campground on my return trip. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects PA rate. This place is fine for an overnight stay, and maybe longer if you want to fish on the lake next to it. I had a pull through site on the grass that needed some leveling, but close to the bathrooms. Showers were down near the checkin and were plentiful and clean too. Not sure about earlier comments regarding the pool--it was sparkling clean and fenced. It was easy to find, Walmart up the road near the Pilot gas station. There does seem to be a lot of full timers, but they are at the back of the large area and away from the overnighters. I filled up at their gas station, even though it was more expensive, but it was a lot easier maneuvering my rig through it than the crowded Pilot. I would stay there again. Beautiful park on the water. The rate above reflects the Passport America discount. The sites are wide and shaded by trees. Good WiFi and good water pressure. Cable TV is good. A little off I-10 but worth the drive. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We almost did not stop here because of the negative reviews, however we were glad we did since it turned out to be a better stop than anticipated. Although the location of the utilities could be better we had no difficulty and also the listing here on RVParkReviews showed that this place was not big rig friendly, we had no problem with our 40' motorhome. Many of the sites have slight slope to them so the majority would require some leveling. WIFI worked well as did the cable. We only stopped for the night but enjoyed the stay and would return in the future. Folks at check-in were very friendly and helpful. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here and were assigned a pull thru site. No where near level. Utilities were so far back on the site you needed approximately 30 to 40 ft of sewer hose, TV cable, electric cable, and sewer line. I don't travel with that much cable or hose. Never needed it before. Wi-Fi is poor to non-existent. To top it off, I could not get out of my pull thru by pulling forward. I had to unhook the car and back out of the site. Don't waste your money on this park, there are many others that are much nicer. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $38.00
This was the last of 18 campgrounds we stayed at in July, and the worst of the 18. Grass was overgrown, sites were uneven, a pack of dogs was running loose, to name a few things. This is really a trailer park with spaces for overnighters. We were the only motorhome, and I think the only passersby. People were going off to work in the morning, as most of the trailers looked settled in for the long haul. We didn't use any facilities here, but walking by the pool gave me an indication of how they may not have been kept up too well. I would give it a slightly better rating if it was $25, but for the $38 we were charged, it was a terrible deal. Look elsewhere. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice park. Everything was clean, pool was open and very clean. Lots to do near by such as fun, shopping, river, food. Only negative thing was not enough trash cans to drop your trash into. We stayed for the weekend. We will stay again. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We selected Arrowhead because of the Trailer Life Campground reviews. There are a number of other campgrounds that we could have easily selected. We're sorry we didn't stop at a rest stop and use the Wi-Fi to check the reviews. This is an old campground that has the appearance of being neglected for years. The bathrooms and showers are clean. We were given 'codes' to get into the bathrooms and showers, but the door handle and lock had been removed from the women's. If the purpose of codes was for security, the women's facilities are very unsecure. The 'roads' are dirt paths with ruts. The sites are not level at all. There was a splintered, broken picnic table at our site. There is cable TV. The free Wi-Fi is adequate. The pool looked murky and unsafe. There is old playground equipment, but it is not fenced and close to the entrance, so it would not be safe for children playing. There was nowhere designated for dogs to do their business, fenced or unfenced. There did seem to be a large number of older children and teens that appeared to be permanent/long term residents. Walking is quite hazardous because of the ruts and the speed of cars/trucks in the campground. It was a little difficult getting to our site which is very close to the entrance. Getting out was extremely difficult. We won't camp here again. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $30.00
Disappointing. Although the woman who answered the phone when I called was nice, the park is not at all what is presented in their ads. Very difficult access for a big rig. The sites were very unlevel and all grass, sand and roots. The sewer was uncovered and there is no cover to be found. Roads through the park need to be graded. The pool was full of dark dark greenish water and old pool chairs. There were no picnic tables. Most campers here are long-term and there are many teens running around, hanging in the laundry room, partying, etc. The RV store is about empty of supplies. I'm not sure how Good Sam came up with their rating. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $35.00
A dump. Should have checked RV reviews first. Would not recommend even for overnight. The restrooms are dirty, no cable, Wi-Fi weak, and entrance is not easy to get into with a big rig. Also, interior roads are narrow difficult to navigate. Don't understand why this is given a Good Sam rating. Would not stay again or recommend this campground. Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $32.00
This place is operating on a shoestring. Its not fit for RV travelers. Mostly old beat up trailers for full time living. No recreation, ancient facilities, no TV or Wi-Fi. Dirt and unlevel pull throughs. Should not be open for business and I can't believe the Good Sam rating? We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $33.00
Good for overnight stop only. Wi-Fi was free, but slow. Cable was not working because of a problem with the cable company, not the park. Sites are on dirt but level. We were unable to use our satellite because of the trees. The pool was a good size and clean, although we did not use it. Appears to have quite a few permanent residents and it was a little noisy at night (but no trains!) We might stay there again, but we would probably try someplace else first. Next best thing to a circus sideshow. Open sewer connections, loose dogs and teens with guns made it an experience we do not choose to repeat. Wi-Fi was barely there, cable did not function, the bathrooms and shower had a lovely odor of sewage and the 80' long sites were more like 45'. The topper was the proprietor when I asked him about just some of the deficiencies. His reply was "We get a lot of a**holes like you so pack up your s**t and leave now". Now THAT is hospitality! Full Hookups. The pull through site was nice, however, not much to this campground. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
