The best thing about this park is proximity to Disney and other entertainment venues. We paid for what is called an "elite" site and assume that is what we were assigned. The site was too short for our 40' motorhome and towed vehicle, no picnic table (there were large groups perhaps table moved), neighbors too close and overflow parking on already too narrow streets. WiFi was free in poolhouse other there was a fee through Spectrum. This place would qualify as a mediocre rv park but not a resort. - Never Lost-New Adventure
Oct 2018 - $80.00
We were told the only way to guarantee to get a pull thu was to reserve an Elite space, which we did A couple months ahead of our arrival. It was a very tight space making it tough to pull through I had to back up several times to get my RV straight. Let alone the concrete was very unlevel. They had done some construction on both sides of our concrete slab leaving the dirt un-raked and very uneven. In fact my wife and I both twisted our ankles a couple of times walking on it to get to our truck. Our site also had a 4 foot dead tree trunk on it no picnic table and no even area to put our steps down. I went to the office to complain about our location and was just told that they were sorry and they would let the management know. I was offered no discount from the Elite price we paid $345 for four nights. This is an Encore property and they should do better than that. We could’ve stated many RV parks in this was by far the worst property for the money we paid. Maybe because they sent me an email a week ago wanting me to pay in full for a week ahead of time is why they gave me this lousy site. Fortunately we spent many hours at the Disney parks so we didn’t have to sit here and look at this dump. Will never stay here again. - Licari

Very tight for our 45' coach. Had to back out of our pull through due to narrow site and roads. - 450 LXi
Jan 2019 - $84.00
Unbelievable tough driving into spot As this was the only park near disney with a week stay possible this was the one Close to neighbors and the road is front is narrower than my coach That means that everyone I'd stacked on top of each other They have a nice open area for large coaches but this has no sewer And can not be used for stay - vern bauch

Nice park, pool and accommodations. A little tight for our 45' coach but navigable. - 450 LXi
Feb 2018 - $85.00
Stayed here for 3 days during the winter season in Fl. Bad mistake. When making reservations told them we needed a pull through: When we arrived, it was a back-in. We are a 40ft RV with tow car. Without a lot of "jockeying" room, sites are very difficult to get into even with the dolly unhitched. From the entry, the facility looks really nice: That is only in the front couple of rows. Our spot was in the larger back area which was unkempt, and full of what appeared to be yearly or seasonal workers area. Across from us was what appeared to be a souvenir store for Disney; one in the back had the sparkle type lights going all night and the other lit up with Disney lights. Not the ambience we want for camping in a tent, 5th, tag-along or RV. It was a large site width-wise but not enough to keep dolly attached. We had to move our tow vehicle one morning so a neighbor across the street could get out of his spot. . There was no guide for reaching the site and erroneous directions given by the camp personnel. With small winding, poorly maintained roads, it was difficult to maneuver through. Sites in back were grass and poorly leveled. Wi-Fi was fine as was 50 amp service. No garbage pick-up but we were within a short walk to the community dump. Due to the cost of this campground, I give it a terrible rating! I'm a native Floridan and know what the Orlando season is like, but I considered this price-gouging. For possibly $40/night, maybe. - docsheila
Oct 2018 - $52.00
Fairly large park. Close to area attractions. Reserved online. There were a lot of pull-throughs and some back in sites that weren't occupied. Sites were full hookup. A few sites were held by long term occupants and looked a little rough but in general it was a nice looking park. Very few shade trees. Small modular houses were just outside the park fence on several sides. Our site had a concrete pad but concrete was broken and badly cracked. Hookups showed their age but functioned well. - Underlog

Lots of activities and friendly people!! Basic sites. with good space between sites. - scirocco
Jan 2018 - $1.00
We went to the pool here. Restrooms needed updating. The showers were small and need to be cleaned badly. Spots were good sized. There was a small playground the kids and I went too. - TravelinFam
Dec 2018 - $1.00
We are full time RVers. We are Elite Thousand Trails members and stay within the TT system 90% of the time. Our opinion my differ from most because we look at these resorts as "home" and not a vacation location. We look for cleanliness, efficiency and location. Orlando has it all! Nice sites everywhere. Paved roads, clean toilets and showers, wonderful staff, friendly neighbors, resident turtles and flamingos, great recreation area, easy delivery of packages, steady 50 amp power, good sewer system and Disney World fireworks! Our only item we wished they had more of is a playground suitable for younger children. Other than that, we love this place. - naknak
Sep 2018 - $50.00
I felt this park was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. You get to pick your own site. The site we chose was on broken gravel but this did not bother us. We went to some activities they had. They also have 2 pools, adult large jacuzzi, volleyball, and much more. We will definitely stay here again. Great location to get to Disney, Disney Springs and a ton of restaurants very close by. - RV Path chosen
Sep 2018 - $38.00
We have been coming to this park on a fairly regular basis since 2013 as Elite Connections members of Thousand Trails. We don't pay a daily rate; however, it is currently from $38.00/day. We have seen great improvements in the park since then, albeit there's still room for improvement. For example, it's a shame that a lot of money has been spent to update the fitness room because it still has a terrible stench, which makes working out unpleasant. Both pools are now open to children; the park loses a few points for that. Adults should have their own space. We found it interesting that several reviewers state they were escorted to their sites. We have NEVER been escorted anywhere at this park; we have always had to drive the park and choose our own site. The bath houses are kept as clean as possible. In fact, the only time the staff may not be able to keep up with cleaning the numerous bath houses is during the winter or on holidays when the park is filled to capacity and obviously not everyone cares about their fellow campers. We try to avoid coming to this park from November to April. The staff here is hard-working and dedicated to their customers; they always have been. On rare occasions we've run into rude staff members - usually they were not permanent employees. I won't go into detail about the amenities as I would be parroting what has already been written. The majority of the sites are level, and Thousand Trails has upgraded many of them to 30/50 amp service at a great expense. More improvements are planned. Thousand Trails Orlando is a beautiful RV park compared to many RV parks we have been in. It is not as nice as parks where sites are privately owned, but it's not due to a lack of trying by the staff. We've been to 18 TT parks. We enjoy it here and highly recommend it as one of the best TT parks. It's the perfect base camp for the Orlando area or just to come and relax. - RV'ing Bikers

Pool just refinished and filled and ready to use. Several full-time people here. No problems. Nice and quiet. Close to Walmart and freeway. - F14MAN
Aug 2017 - $20.00
Close to office spot yet wifi terrible all week. They say it's a hotspot when you ask, yet the advertisement says wifi. They shouldn't say they have it if they don't. Its part of the planning of where you want to stay. (Admin note: park website amenities show "wifi access") - Sondkr
Jul 2017 - $21.00
Showers/bathrooms that we were near had only one stall. So one shower at a time. They are not air conditioned and there was no airflow so, you sweat in the shower. The men's restroom had their one toilet overflowing with paper and completely stopped up, so we had to call a number for service, which was taken care of after a while. The women's side was right next to the door of the clubhouse, so we had a man sitting on a bench, smoking right next to the door of the bathroom, blowing smoke in with us the entire time we were in there. We felt a bit unsecure about it all, so one of us stood guard while the other showered. Our site was by itself, but other sites appeared to be extremely close together. There appear to be many permanent residents housed in small trailer houses or rv's here. We took the kids to use the pool and residents were smoking and drinking by the pool and playing some atrocious country rap music that was laced with foul language, and DID NOT care that my little girls were present to hear it. We arrived around 3 or 4 on a Saturday, no one was ever present in the office. It was closed on the next day, and as we couldn't remember if we'd given them a credit card number to pay with or not, we tried to contact them via the number on the office door but only got an answering service. We did make contact the next day via phone (after we checked out.) The price is good here, but I feel it's much more inclined towards permanent or long term residents. I doubt we will stay here again. - girlfriday007
Apr 2017 - $20.00
Accepted Passport America. Site was back in and FHU. No cable but Wifi worked pretty well, a little slow tho. Antenna tv picked up over 60 channels. Site was barely big enough for RV, parked truck next to it. NO shade. All concrete roads and sites. Nice pool and laundry room. HIghway noise but can't beat the price in this town. Very friendly park. - TN_VolsFan
Jan 2016 - $75.00
I agree with previous comments. Interior roads are good but narrow. Didn't use bath house or laundry facilities.
In addition, their published and posted rate in their office is $40.00/day. We were charged $75.00/day because of activity going on at Oceola Heritage Park. When our reservations were made we weren't told of this special upcharge. Nor were we advised at check in. Only when we paid our bill the next day.
I agree that they can charge whatever they want to for a site but advise the customer when reservations are being discussed and let the customer decide if the price is in their comfort zone. - racer0624
Sep 2015 - $24.00
The park itself was clean and tidy but very tightly packed fulltime, long term and campers. The pool was large and heated. The laundry room was a good size but very busy constantly. The sites are very narrow, gravel and concrete. The staff was average, not that friendly and the wifi wasn't free. The restrooms were clean and the showers were nice. The road traffic was very loud. Don't think I'd stay here again. - kiwitravelers

Sep 2017 - $16.00
I would not recommend staying here. We checked in August 29th and left October 2nd. There is no wifi at the park except a weak signal in the cabins. The pool was closed the entire stay because the pool pump was broke. The tennis court had no net. The basic cable they advertise does not work on all spots including my site. The roads are covered in potholes and patches. The restaurant has a smell of old grease and decay, just look at the floors. The boat ramp is unusable due to the lake level, but it is not posted. They are under a boil water notice, posted at the office and laundry room, but they did not send out a notice to all the spots. I don't know how long it was posted before I found out. Don't expect to use the bath houses there either. They were all boarded up before Irma and remained closed after. I suppose management feels you should only use your RV for bathroom and shower. We left for Hurricane Irma and came back to our lot and had to clean it ourselves. Tree branches and leaves everywhere. Trees throughout the park have limbs and dead wood that can fall and hurt or kill someone. Some trees are threatening RVs parked on the lots. There are several sites that appear to have abandoned RVs on them. Sheriff's deputies were called out 3 times for criminal activity. Once had a woman running around half naked. - Chris Green
Mar 2017 - $40.00
Low voltage. Water off and on. Poor management. - Dengbds
Feb 2017 - $65.00
Management is nonexistent. Assigned a site by staff member who had never walked the park. First site assigned was occupied. Second site inaccessible without driving over a 10 inch concrete curb. Not rv friendly streets , very narrow and boardered with concrete curbing. This is a fish camp not an rv park. The fishing is however top notch. The restaurant is simple but the food and service are great. Directly under OIA flight path very noisy well into the night. Friendly campers helped greatly in locating our site and helping situating our travel trailer. The owners of this park have a lot to learn. I will not return. - Phil perreaulr
Sep 2018 - $56.00
For 50+ for the rate, I was hoping it was going to be a very good experience, but it was not. It took close to an hour with some help to manuver into a tight, grass lot. There were concrete pads, we didn't get one. It was also very unlevel, such that we could not compensate with blocks or stablizers. The ping pong table has one broken ball and one like wood. If you want to use a pool table, it must be before 5pm, they will not let you play if the office is closed. The foosball table has scolley balls. This seems picky, but all this together makes for a not so pleasant experience, certainly not 50+ for a day. Doubt that we will come back.
Ask for a good lot, not grass. If you want to play pool, expect to play before 5pm, bring your own ping pong equipment - country rover

I've found KOA's in general as at least, consistent in what they provide. That said, I will not visit this KOA again. We made reservations for our site months in advance. Upon arrival, they have an employee escort you to your site and assist you in parking. Our site was too short for our motorhome (40 foot). The employee kept wanting me to back up and I could see in my rear-view camera that the rear of my coach was about to hit a large stand of bamboo right behind the rig. I stopped and he came to the drivers window and said "you need to backup about 3 feet, you're not sitting on the pad.". I told him "I'm about to hit the bamboo and I'm not going back any farther." He said "you aren't going to hurt the bamboo, you've got to move back farther." I said "I'm not moving another inch as that will damage my paint." After a bit of arguing I shut it down. I walked around back and was 4 inches away from a 1" piece of cut-off bamboo punching a hole in my rear cap. I showed him the issue and he said they'd send a crew over to trim back the bamboo so I could backup properly. They never sent anyone. My second issue is that this KOA has employees running around everywhere. There's always someone on a golf cart riding around, prowling around your campsite weed-eating or who knows what. The sites are already very close together so privacy of any kind is non-existent. Prior to leaving at the end of our stay, I checked things on the motorhome to make sure it was road-ready and found my antifreeze a bit low. I topped that off and started the engine to bring it to temp to recheck. It had maybe been running 3 minutes when I see a KOA employee scoot under my awning. I went outside to see if he needed help and was sternly told I wasn't allowed to run my generator in the campground. I wasn't running the generator, it was the engine and I told him in a few minutes I would be finished. We won't be back. - sixtires58
May 2017 - $65.00
KOA 10% discount for two nights at a supersize site The site was a long gravel and concrete pull-through site with FHU and 50 amps. There was a good sized concrete patio adjacent to the pad with a patio table, four chairs and two person glider. We had good Verizon cell and internet reception. We had good DishTV satellite reception. The park's WiFi was a little slow. The parks interior roads are narrow, but easily navigated. The park was quiet both day and night. We would stay here again. - Dave51
Dec 2018 - $70.00
The only downside to the RV park is the price, it is high but that is mostly due to the location, and you do get a lot for your money.
We camped in a back-in site at the end of the row, so plenty of room, though the site was not long so even with out 16' trailer we had to park the truck sideways. Site was gravel and very level, with a concrete patio and picnic table. Electric and water were well located and worked as expected. Park has sites of all varieties from the back in sites we stayed in to long pull throughs. It also had the nicest tenting sites I have ever seen, they included a soft pea gravel pad, tie downs on the borders, concrete patios, table, fire pit, shelter and sink. Very impressive.
Bath house was always spotless, it had regular men's and women's bathrooms, separate shower units which were spacious, and a couple of family shower units that also had a toilet and sink in them. The store in the office was stocked with some basic essentials as well as souvenirs. Did not visit the fitness center, laundry was clean with nice machines, $2.00 each for wash and dry. Pool with hot tub was open 24 hours, heated, and very nice. A small playground, horseshoe pits and dog run round out the amenities.
Staff was excellent, friendly, outgoing, and happy to answer any questions. Overall and excellent place to stay. - Cyclonic
Sep 2018 - $60.00
Park was very clean and organized, very friendly staff. Variety of sites, including very nice tent camping sites with fire pits as well as very nice cabins with fire pits. Did not appear to have many long term RV sites. Nice pool and amenities. Good location with regard to restaurants and Disney Attractions. Price was a little higher than average, however I guess because it is in the vicinity of Disney. We had a back-in site that was a bit tight to neighbors but not bothersome. Overall a very nice campground! - RV Flagstaff Travelers
Aug 2018 - $78.00
We stayed in this KOA for the weekend while visiting Disney World. This campground is an easy drive to Disney, the route to Disney avoids the I-4 highway that is mostly a parking lot from time to time. The campground is very well maintained and clean. We were able to get all 4 bars of cell service from both ATT and Verizon so we did not have to rely on the campground's wifi. The best part of this campground is that the pool is open 23 hours a day. So when you get back from a long day at Disney, lets say after midnight, you can soak in the hot tub or swim in the heated pool. The restrooms were modern and clean. We definitely will be back. - On the Road Again with Dave and Christie

Park is old and the roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate, especially in our 39 foot bus. We disconnected our tow vehicle at entrance and still had trouble. The pool is very nice and there are activities that seasonal campers enjoy. Only there 5 nights and wasn't interested. We had visited last year and new management was not as helpful as previous was, no escort to site and were directed via a route that our bus couldn't make the turn. That said, less than 10 miles to Disney on 192 filled with shopping, restaurants, Old Town, Fun Spot and Celebration at great rate. - DebbyandBob
Feb 2018 - $50.00
Would give zero stars if I can. I made a reservation over 3 months in advance via their website with a deposit and given a site number. I show up and they have no record of the reservation and the site is booked to someone else! Furious. Not easy to find another place to stay during snowbird season. They say it was due to a new system. Apologies, but I still haven't received my refund 3 days later. - Lnskaye
Jun 2017 - $43.00
This started out bad and didn't get much better. Do not follow Google maps instructions! Google takes you down Seven Dwarfs Lane which is not wide enough for Rvs. Takes Old Vineyard instead. Ownership needs to put this info in canned reservation letter they send you. Lady at check in was not helpful. All she wanted to do was close up. Office is straight ahead. Sign is hard to see. Sites are small and very tight. Lots of accusatory signs throughout campground. Don't don't don't. - krj89
