Folks running this park are in the wrong field. They should consider doing something else. Very hard to work with. Very rude. Gravel and grass. Poorly maintained. If you get stuck in the back your not gonna like it. Sites are semi level, WIFI doesn't work nor did the cable TV work. Beach is close and the hotel pool is nice. You will not like the people running this park. We will not be back unless they change management. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gravel, shells, and sand. Lopsided picnic table. All full hookups sites, 30 and 50 amp service. Rest room/laundry room. No shade in most of the park, new wiring and plumbing for rv's. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Most sites are like being in a parking lot. Only shade along the canal, and lots are small. The managers are new and don't have skills to run a campground. There is another campground 1/2 mile away which is much more appealing and price is less also. You can never get through on phone. They have to call you back when they get to it.

(Site was sunny/open. Site surface was gravel and featured a picnic table.) We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

manager tried to charge for two nights stay when we asked for one.. Charged us for two nights and said no refunds...Long story short I would avoid this place at all costs the people running this place now are totally unprofessional and have no business in the hospitality business.. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Short walk to beach. No food at el governor tiki bar. Most restaurants are a bit of a walk so bring a bike if you don't have car/golf cart to get around. There is a grocery store just a block away which was good. Staff was very friendly and willing to help when we thought the breaker had blown. We had a beautiful view of the little canal behind our site. We were able to eat breakfast and enjoy the scenery. Bathrooms were very hot. No ac. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an OK campground if you like being close to the beach; in fact, it is across the highway from it. You have access to the hotel pool as the CG is owned by the hotel. The CG is a basic no frills bare bones dirt and grass lot. A few sites are pull-thrus. Good for a one or two night stays, although there are many seasonal units. If you like to fish, a lot of the folks here do. We only stay here because we like the proximity to the ocean. Mexico Beach is a very quiet. one stop light town, but beware if it is spring break. The beach and parking can be difficult for such a small town. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Small park with small cramped sites. Close to highway and some traffic noise. Amenities are few for the traveler; perhaps it offers more activities for a more permanent stay. Wifi was terrible. Sites were not groomed or looked after. Staff were quite friendly. The beach is across the street and accessible if that is important to you. Stayed there on a recommendation but would not return. Vastly Overpriced for what you get. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice ocean front park. We had a site that allowed us to look at the ocean. Good cable and WiFi. Friendly staff. Beautiful white sand beach across the street. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice little park (rather tight maneuvering though), just across the highway from a beautiful white, sandy beach. We just stopped for one night on our way down to Tampa. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very friendly and helpful managers. Across the street from white sand beach with access. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet. Like most ocean campgrounds in Florida be sure to bring your flea and mosquito spray. Our second stay here and will return. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park staff was excellent and made up for the appearance of the park. It is showing it's age, but the host make up for it. Only there for one night. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice simple park and a very good value. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating, providing directions and recommendations on the area. There is not much to do at the park, but the beach is just across the street. We could see the ocean from our spot. Use of the hotel pool across the street is complementary, nothing fancy but the pool was clean. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

I chose this campground because I fell in love with Mexico Beach. The managers are very friendly and very helpful. We call with no notice,Memorial Day weekend, and they promised me a spot in their overflow lot, but without full hookups. However, there another camper with reservations was a day late, and I was given that spot for one night. I liked it so much that I stayed an extra night in the overflow lot. I was able to park my motor home on the shoulder of the highway, and enjoy the beach during the day, and return to the campground later. I love this place. It is not fancy, but has 30 amp full hookups, in a fantastic location. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

My experience here was not good. We were there less than 3 hours when our large ice chest was stolen. It obviously was not the first time this has happened. The manager didn't seem surprised, in fact he seemed to think it was funny because he joked about it. Before we left, it happened to another camper. His fishing rods and tackle were stolen. Again the manager made a joke of it. I know this can happen anywhere, but the manager didnt seem to care. In my opinion this should not be a recurring problem in a campground this small. We loved the beach there but will camp elsewhere next time. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
