Nice park very close to I-10 with easy in and out. Level concrete pads that are adequate size. Very clean and owners are very friendly and helpful. Only concerns were that the Wi-Fi is weak and not a great park for walking the dogs.
We would stop here again. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.
Lots of stores and restaurants about 10 minutes away. The Naval Aviation Museum is about 45 minutes away from the park.

Quiet, easy access, convenient to Milton and Pensacola, very well maintained, attractive waterfront spaces, boat ramp, and dock-fishing on-site. A good relaxing one-night stop along our journey, and a place we'd come back to anytime. There are no trains and very little highway traffic after hours. The park is pet-friendly and everyone has pets with them. It is very well maintained with well manicured grounds and convenient hook-ups. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.
Gas and supplies right at the I-10 ramp no more than 1/4 mile north. Pensacola is 25-30 minutes west along I-10 and has the full slate of stores, repair facilities, entertainment, and fine dining. Avoid rush hours as Avalon Blvd. can get busy at times.

There are 2 levels to this park. We stayed in a long pull through in the upper level. The site was wide enough to open our slides and awning without any problems. The picnic table is on a concrete slab and the RV is on level gravel. The two sections of the park are connected with a foot bridge. Each level has its own bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities which were spotless. The park is close to stores and a short ride to Pensacola. We had a great stay and would definitely return next time we're in that neck of the woods. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Must see the Naval Air Museum. It was awesome!!

What great customer service. It is very apparent that the staff takes pride in their park. It is extremely well maintained and the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Did I mention the views of the river, absolutely beautiful. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed for 3 months in this park. The $18/ night reflects a monthly charge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sites are level gravel with cement patios. The laundry was clean and the machines although few were new and clean. We enjoyed our stay here and we will go back. There are several long term campers but you would not know it by the looks of the park. The park was clean and very will kept. This park is close to the interstate but we were not disturbed by noise. Park is close to town and restaurants. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We stayed here for a couple of nights to see the area. The park is easy to get to & from I-10. It is only a short distance from the interchange but very quiet.
The park is small. It is built on fairly level ground around a body of water. The interior roads are paved. Their width isn't a problem due to the design and visibility.
The sites are generally level and flat. There is a mixture of back in, pull in and pull throughs. The parking pads on the sites is gravel ringed with concrete. There wasn't much space for second vehicle. There wasn't much privacy between the sites due to the spacing between the sites. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer connections which are generally located about midway of the parking pad. There was an outside table on a concrete patio.
Most all of the sites offered a view of the southern sky to get satellite reception.
WiFi reception was very slow and difficult to stay connected - couldn't get connected and kept getting dropped if able to get connected. Only had two bars (good to poor strength) for connection even through there were several connection points. The park was only about half full so when it fills up, WiFi connection could become a big issue. Our Verizon hotspot didn't work well either. Must have been in a black hole.
Didn't get a discount for Good Sam even though they recorded our membership number. We paid the posted rate.
There were two designated pet areas around the park but they were very small. There wasn't sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's road system. There were no bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste but collection containers were located in each area of the park.
Probably would return to this park if in the area only because we didn't look at other parks in the area. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.
The few pull throughs are saved for overnighters. So if you want one of those, be careful what you say when making your reservations/registration. Couldn't figure out the secret to get WiFi. Good luck in your efforts.
Don't miss the Naval museum on Pensacola Naval Airstation.

We stayed here in a 45 ft motorhome and will stay here again. I won't repeat what everyone else is saying about this park but I concur with the comments. I will add that Pensacola is a short 15 minute drive away and if it is a must that you have access to the internet, I would not stay at this park as the Wi-Fi is intermittent. This is a very nice park, consisting of two parts, separated by a lagoon. You can walk between the two parts, but have to go out on the road to drive to the other part. Most sites are back-in, but easy to get into as the paved roads are wide. Gravel sites. Lots of well-maintained grass. Park is on a scenic bayou with a launch ramp, so you can launch a small boat for fishing or rent a canoe or kayak. Fishing is also allowed in the lagoon from the bank or bridge; we saw fish constantly jumping. There is a small clean pool and clubhouse in the main section. Two clean restroom/laundry buildings, one for each area. Easy access from I-10 and not far from restaurants and shopping. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Cable was adequate; I didn't have much luck with the Wi-Fi. Propane available and you can wash your RV or car for a small fee. We've stayed in other parks in the Milton area and I think this is the best. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

A very nice park and easy access to I-10. We stayed here a week and the camp hosts were great. Everything was clean. We were here during the massive floods in Pensacola and even though many of the roads around town were flooded, the park stayed high and dry. We had a pull in River site and even with our 45 foot motorhome it had plenty of room to park the car behind it. The only thing I have against this park is it has a small pool and no spa. I have mixed feelings about this park. It is lovely with a tidal creek and pond, marshland around, bridges and paths. The roads are paved and the pads are very level gravel. All is very neat and tidy. But the pads are VERY small, the picnic tables are not allowed on the grass and don’t fit in the small space next to the rig. It is in the way and we have to walk around it on the grass to get to and from the truck and it is difficult to open our storage compartment. I don’t think they thought about slides when they built this place, as the space is so narrow. There are few shade trees which makes satellite reception good. We didn’t try the cable. Wi-Fi is good most of the time but not all. Management was very friendly and helpful. Stores are quite a distance away. The location is convenient right off of I-10. I would come back for an overnighter. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice campground with pull-in sites overlooking a bayou. I could sit and watch the Pelicans dive for fish all day. The park is quiet, even being only a mile from the I-10 exit. Almost equal distance between Pensacola NAS and Eglin AFB. I would most certainly stay here again. Very nice. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

One of the nicer RV parks we have stayed at. Great staff, fantastic facilities, very quiet. We were impressed enough to stay an additional 3 weeks after our original month was up. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that will be in that area. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice small RV park located within 1 mile of I-10, but no road noise at all. The setting is quite nice with some sites designed to pull into sites overlooking a tidal marsh area. The park will soon be opening another 20+ sites with some of them being pull throughs. It is also a Good Sam park. We definitely will stay here again. The rate paid reflects a monthly rate and is approximate. Only drawback to this park is it's right on a main highway, but it's easy access to I-10, traffic noise is minimal, and it's right on Blackwater Bay. We had a water front site where we could stand at the back of our 5er and cast into the water. The park is in the process of adding additional sites on the other side of the bay inlet.
They are concrete pads, and the road was blacktopped the day before we left. It should be open with new and additional sites within a month or less. For our 40 ft RV, the site we had was pretty much maxed out on the length, (the new sites will solve that issue). The owners/managers are extremely friendly and helpful, TV over the air was good, and satellite reception was easy with no over head trees or obstructions. They do have LP but most RVers fill at a nearby location due to price. Water, electric, and sewer hookups were excellent. Only reason I didn't give them a 10 was due solely to length of the older sites. Again, that will be solved when the new section opens in a couple weeks or less. Great RV park and well deserving of a 10 once the new larger section opens. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
