New management and staff. Some changes to the Passport rules [call to confirm season]. WIFI at clubhouse and pretty fast. No signal at the site. Large cable tv and 50 plus channels on antenna. Trade books at clubhouse. To cold for the pool but it looks well maintained. Gravel paving could use some work. Tried Vittorios in town -- its reasonable and they do a good job. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful park. Paved roads and sites. Nice pool. Checked in on a sunday, so the office was closed. They left a packet for us, but no gate code. We had to wait until someone came through the gate, and they let us in. We are on site 8 and the wifi is slower than the old dialup. Left a message about the wifi at the office, and no one has called back 4 days later. Not sure if the office is jut not staffed full time or why no one has gotten back. That is the only problem we have had with the park. Being here for a week is burning through much of our cell phone data. Convenient to I-95. Walmart and nay food or shopping is 2 exits south. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great location to visit Canaveral National Seashore, Merrit island National Refuge, Kennedy Space Center. Smoking Oaks is an excellent bar-b- que restaurant in Titusville.

This campground was easy to locate, just follow your GPS. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate, but they are a little narrow. Sites are long, wide and level with decent spacing between sites. Full hookups are properly located. Electrical power was steady. Water pressure was good. WIFI worked well. Verison service had three bars. OTA TV worked fine. Lots of places to walk the dog. There were several laundry locations, but they were all small: three washers and three driers. Fellow campers were all friendly. We stayed here for two weeks. We'd stay here again. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The software used to manage the finances of this campground appears to be very cumbersome to use. Be sure and keep track of your charges and credits separately. Kennedy Space Center tour was a good experience.

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here the entire month of December and enjoyed our stay. Price reflects the monthly rate. Easy access on/off I-95. There can be some road noise depending on your site, but we had no issues where we were. We booked this location due to the good reviews and close proximity to our grandson. We were in site 132, a fairly level gravel/grass site roomy enough for our 40' fifth wheel and dually truck. All sites are FHU and our electric, cable and water worked perfectly. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and park was quiet and safe. They offer free wifi but we didn't use it. Excellent Verizon cell signal. Park is a mix of old and new sites, and some long term/permanent campers with much older rigs. They have a lap pool, regular pool and hot tub which we used regularly. There are several ponds throughout the park and we did see an alligator. Clubhouse was decent and looked like a nice place to host a party or event. Fitness area consisted of two treadmills and one elliptical machine. They have pickleball, shuffleboard, horseshoe pit, book swap and puzzles/games. They also host events for campers such as potlucks, Christmas/New Year's Eve parties, etc. Bathrooms were kept reasonably clean with each having a very nice shower area and sitting area. The fan in one of the toilet areas was broken and was not fixed during the month we were there. Bathhouse had three shower/toilet areas and laundry area with three washers and dryers ($1.75 per wash/dry). There is a real community feel at this park and many folks have been coming here for years. This park fills up quickly, so reservations need to be made many months in advance. One camper said they had to reserve for a 6 month increment to guarantee their spot for 2018. They do take PA from April through November. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearest Walmart is in Titusville about 7 miles away. Dollar General and Dunkin Donuts are right around the corner. Kennedy Space Center is 25 minutes away (you can see the rocket once it's launched from the campground!) and Orlando is an hour away. There's no playground for the kids here, but Chain of Lakes park is about 5 miles away with 2 playgrounds and miles of walking/biking trails which was very nice.

Stayed here for a month at a premium back-in site on concrete pad. Beware of all the fire ants because they are aggressive and all the bees pollinating the clover. Was told at check-in we would have WiFi at our site in one week. 30 days later, we still never had WiFi at our site. Instead you needed to walk down to the clubhouse for it. The park is very uneven with respect to the quality of the rigs parked there. Some are very old and unkempt. The interior roads are tight with a long rig. On the plus side, it was quiet at night, they were doing a lot of landscape work and the site size was reasonable. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not a lot going on in this area with the exception of the Kennedy Space Center and NASA. That is definitely worth visiting for a good day-long exploration. Titusville and Mims are so-so and Cocoa Beach is still tired looking. WalMart, Sam's Club and Publix are all fairly close by so that was good.

Our PA site was a back-in with full hookups in a wooded area with a gravel drive and grass with a picnic table. They have cable TV but the reception was not very good. There are several ponds on the property as well as a Club House with a pool & spa. Located a ways off the freeway so it was quiet at night. Wi-fi was only available at certain areas of the park. The Kennedy Space Center is about 25 minutes away and is definitely worth the day long visit. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Mims - close to I-95, easy in and out, large check in area. Staff was friendly and helpful. To get to the sites, You will have to unhook tow and then drive through a one arm gate but it's wide enough for big rigs. We drove on a winding road to get to site. There are both concrete and grass sites, so ensure you tell them what you want. Our site was in the back near the clubhouse next to a pond. Concrete, close to level and long enough to fit both the 40' Rig and tow. Site had a picnic table. Appears to be some permanent residents and upkeep was mostly good. Clubhouse was a good size, had plenty of area for meetings/party plus a few pieces of exercise equipment as well as a pool table. There is a library of donated books, take one, leave one. There is a pool too, as well as tennis courts. Small dog park located near propane tank but plenty of grass to walk dogs. Water pressure was good, we had an open spot, therefore able to get Sat TV. They have 3 WiFi points, however we couldn't get the WiFi to work. Snowbird season was over, therefore park half full and quiet. Most people that live here work, and their sites are kept clean. We stayed only one night. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is one of our personal top 10 favorites, well laid out and maintained. Park has recently been sold which may be a prelude to some changes. There are now many long term leased sites now which is distressing since it decreases the amount of transient sites available. Folks are storing their rigs here at the sites permanently. I also asked about availability for winter 2017 and was told that they now only accept 6 months long reservations which leaves us out of coming here during that period. I would've given this park a 10 if it weren't for a number of sites which were gravel and not kept very clean as the others in the park. We were on lot 181 which is in the more modern (newer) part called The Palms, they call them super sites; based on the length and width (both large) they certainly are! we had a nice view of the lake (pond) , we were told we might see some alligators! Very nice facilities, especially great deal with our Passport America discount!! And NO park models! Nice pool area, as well as shuffleboard, tennis and pickleball courts, lots to offer here. Very close to Cape Canaveral which is a must see if in this area. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have camped here for about the last 5 years, and this has been a premium campground, however there is new ownership this winter so time will tell. The new ownership turned the heat to the pool off at the end of March, even though their web site advertises a "Heated Pool", so if you want a campground with heated pool don't come here for April. The toilet in the ladies washroom at the pool has leaked water onto the floor for at least the last month. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I pulled in about 8:30PM after dark. The office was closed but an attendant came up in a golf cart. He escorted me to one of the few empty spots. My spot was gravel, and long enough so I didn't have to unhook. Looked like most spots were paved and had full timers staying the winter. Most of the RV were newer and upscale. They had decorations and lights out. Looked to be a very nice park. The front office didn't open until 9AM. I pulled out about 8AM. I called back when they were open to pay for my site. Good sized lots with concrete pads and nice green grass. Plenty of room for large motorhome to get around. VERY friendly staff.
