Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 months, January and February, and the rate is based on that long term stay. The park is exceptionally clean...the grounds as well as the rest rooms, laundry, pool area, etc. Most people are there for a month or more, and about half the sites are park models, not RVS that move. The sites are good sized, and there is a lot of grass. Most have concrete patios. The rest rooms are modern and very clean. The showers are great, and usually empty, as most people use the ones in their living quarters. There are many activities if you choose to participate....bike rides, walking group, card games, cookouts, live music, shuffleboard tournaments, etc. The pool is not large, but is very nice with ample lounge chairs in both sun and shade. All the people we met were quite friendly. The office and maintenance staff were very helpful. This park is very close to several beaches - a 10- 15 minute drive. Many stores nearby. It's only a couple of blocks off Rt 41, but far enough that we didn't hear traffic. It is about 12 miles north of 5th Ave in Naples. WIFI is included, and the signal is strong, but not fast enough to stream movies. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Travel Trailer.

The park is very clean and close to the beaches in Naples, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers. Very nice pool but no hot tub. A few planned activities but I would have liked to see more offered. My biggest complaint is the lot sizes. They have them shoved in like a can of sardines. If you like your neighbor it's fine but mine smoked outside which then limited my time outside. Also, there is not a dog area and since the spaces are so tiny it is impossible to keep your dog from using your neighbors area. Again, if your neighbor doesn't mind your quick pick up of dog waste your ok. But if it bothers you to have a dog as a neighbor you may want to look somewhere else. The roads leading to the sites are very narrow and with the units being so close together it can be difficult to maneuver. The park does not offer you any assistance in getting you to your spot. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

The closest beach is 3 miles away and is an easy bike ride. You can also by a parking pass at the City if Naples for $50 and it's good for a year.

Mostly permanent manufactured homes with RV pads stuck in between, very crowded and close together and hard to maneuver with the short driveways and vehicles sticking out onto road. "Exercise Room" is below average. It was convenient to Bonita Springs for us. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the "community" type of parks with mostly park models mixed with RV spaces. Most of the RV sites are grass although some are all concrete. The driveways are asphalt in good condition. There are facilities available including a pool although we didn't use it. The bathrooms are OK, let's say 3 on a scale of 5. The free WiFi was reliable and worked well. We had a back in site with grass site pad, concrete patio and picnic table and included full hookup with 50 amp electric. We paid $21 per night with Passport America. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.

Used this park as a base of operation while we explored the Naples and Sanibel area. It served its purpose perfectly though not really a RV park or campground but more for permanent park models. The site was fairly level grass but felt a bit like parking on the side yard of your neighbor. That being said, great central location, full hookups, clean pool. Need to be self contained at this park. Pricing reflected summer off season in Naples. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.

Great park! Excellent location and price! Great friendly staff!

Park is very well maintained. It has a pool, gym, laundry facilities, shuffle board and other amenities.

They have very friendly swans in their lake that you can hand feed.

Plan to stay there again!! We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.

It's in a very good location. We enjoyed the gym (very good), shuffle board was beautiful. Swimming pool was a little small but nice, we enjoyed the sunsets by the lake. The best thing I can say is the location of the campground. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly and helpful management and office staff. The park is clean as well as the rest rooms and laundry facilities. The streets are narrow as well as the camp sites, however, I was able to maneuver a 40' fifth wheel with no problems. All the residents are very friendly. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not a place we would really care to return to. The streets are very narrow, 2 way. If you meet someone, it is a challenge to pass if you are in your motor home. Then, trying to back into a narrow site and avoid the cars parked in the drive across from you. Lots of permanents and all appear in a good state of repair. They have very few limited sites that have 50 amp. The sites are level, and from what we saw most have a concrete patio, but no picnic table. Then in reference to their WiFi, or lack there of. They use Tango Net: we tried it, but it just would not work. Even at their hot spot in the club house it would not work. Other residents said it is just the way it is. We would not return here. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.

Narrow streets with right angles into sites made maneuvering difficult; this may not be a problem for most residents since most are permanent or seasonal. Staff and residents were friendly; French was encountered as often as English. The pool area was very nice; a weight room, laundries, mail room and clubhouse were also available. Basic utilities were good; Wi-Fi was by purchase through Tengo and not used; AT&T phone and data service were weak but functional for several hours per day. Some traffic noise associated with large trucks at the nearby concrete plant occurred during the workday. The price is based on a weekly, internet, off-season special. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for one month as it was close to our relatives home and to stores we like. Also Sun RV Resorts had an intro special of $279 for one month, and other deals after that. We don't need lots of amenities, just a big enough site to park, good water, power (50 amp), and sewer. The park was fine with those needs. It was kept up nice even though being an older park, spaces are close, but long, and certain areas could be tough to navigate with a big rig and the park being full. In the summer, without all the French Canadians here, it's fine. The park was probably only 25% occupied while we were here. Every one was nice and we would return in the summer months given the same good deals and a choice of site. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have rated this park higher except for the extremely close and tight sites. Very nice staff and pool area. Antenna brings up the local channels and Wi-Fi is extra. Close to shopping and old 41 highway. Good for a stopover. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects a first time visitor Nov/Dec monthly rate. The roads are quite narrow, but are paved and well maintained. The spaces are quite tight, but deep enough to accommodate our 40' motor home and toad. I would rate this park higher except for the fact that the power is AWFUL at the 30 amp sites. I use a Hughes power transformer and it was inadequate for boosting the voltage to a safe level. In speaking with others that are regulars here they have all purchased Power Masters after having lost roof air conditioners or other appliances. I recommend securing a 50 amp site or purchasing a transformer BEFORE you settle in. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.

Typical snowbird RV park in south Florida. Electric hook-up very dated with no circuit breaker at site, just an outlet. Sites close together. We were in town visiting family, so this park was convenient and would stay here again for that purpose. Would NOT stay long term, just too many people too close. We paid special rate for first time visitors: $89 for the week, plus "resort charge" of $25, which I didn't like, as we used NONE of the amenities. We camped at Lake San Marino in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects a special monthly rate for shoulder season. This is a very social park-- lots of activities and neighbors are very friendly and engaging. It's also extremely convenient getting to shops, restaurants, beach, etc. Yes, the sites are a bit on the small side and difficult for big rigs to get in and out-- exactly why you come here for an extended stay rather than an overnight or weekend. Each site has a nice concrete patio and full hook ups. Some trees but mostly open (which made it easier for Satellite). This is my 2nd visit and I look forward to coming back for a full season next time. It's a park that makes you feel at home! We camped at Lake San Marino in a Motorhome.
