The park is small and when we first got here I wasn't sure about it. We originally were going to stay 1-2 nights. We ended up staying 7. We were trying to get on the other side of Texas and they were having flooding. We had site 60 for 5 days and site 63 for 2 nights. Sites are concrete with a gravel parking area for your vehicle. Sites are close but not bad. We had water view. We were maybe 100 yards to the beach and the Santa Rosa Sound. The beach is small. Its their private beach. It's about 50 x 10 yards. It has white sand and chaise lounges. Small pool but nice. You are on the main road but we were far enough away that we did not hear the road noise. The people here (staff and campers) were very nice. We would stay here again. We may be staying here on our way back to Naples. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not much to see over the bridge at Navarre Beach. We did go to the National Navy Aviation Museum. That was all free and pretty cool. The best place to eat in our opinion is East River Smokehouse BBQ.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in January in one of the premium sites next to Santa Rosa Sound. The six sites at the back of the park each have a private patio. Hookups are modern; site was concrete and level. The park is not large but is well kept by friendly staff. WiFi, as with most parks, is intermittent. A schedule of social activities is maintained (bingo, ice cream, donuts, casino shuttle to Biloxi). The park is right off busy Highway 98 and is close to numerous restaurants and grocery stores. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Navarre Beach and the Gulf of Mexico are a 10-minute drive away via causeway. Concrete islands on Highway 98 prevent turning across traffic to enter the RV park from the east. Entry from the west is easy via Hwy 98. The park is about 20 miles south of Interstate 10.

Pros: Great social get-togethers. Pot-luck breakfast was amazing. Poker and game nights were fun. Laundry room was clean and normal. RV-washing hose connections in various places around park - no charge. Good park roads.

Cons: WiFi is unsecured. Sites are very narrow. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Pensacola NAS museum is amazing. Make sure you go around the west road (Blue Angel Pkwy) to the south entrance to get in. The north entrance to the base is not open to the public.

We stayed in a premium waterfront site. There are only 6 of those and they are very separated from the rest of the park so you feel like its your own private resort with just a few other folks. Nice pier to see the sunset. Wish there was a dog park but theres really no room for one. Tango internet with all its in and out frustrations. I wish the waterfront sites were pull in, not back in so we would see the view from our best windows. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Supermarket half a mile away.

The best park you will ever stay in on the Emerald Coast ! I chose this park because of all the activities and the location. The park is so clean, Big Rig friendly, Pet friendly, and employs the most friendliest staff. The restrooms are spotless, the private beach is relaxing, and the pool quite refreshing. The park manager and staff do things right to have so many return campers year after year. I met some of the nicest people while camping here. I give this park a 10 rating and I have already booked my return visit. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The restaurants in the area are great. For sure try Johnny Huston's. The Shrimp Basket, East River BBQ, and Alphy's for breakfast.

Except for the sites being a little close to each other, we loved this place. Spent Thanksgiving here and had pot luck dinner with 120 strangers. Owners provided the turkeys and hams. The park is right on the water with its own private beach and dock. There is a nice large gas fire-pit on the covered deck. There is also a little tiki hut on the other corner of the property to watch the sunsets. They had bingo games and ice cream socials while we were there. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Borders Hwy 98 which gets very busy. We were on the back-end of the park so no real noise, but can be a pain to exit the park. All conveniences are close by with Walmart 5 minutes away. Dog park about 5 minutes away.

Purpose built camp ground with lots of Class A units. We were provided with an excellent site with lovely water views. The camp ground is beautifully maintained. When there was no hot water in the men's showers a service company was promptly called, the problem rectified, and my husband was notified. Excellent concrete pads, with separate gravel car parking and each site has a grass area. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Great swimming pool, small private beach area with sun loungers and shelters. A beautiful facility. Only negative we had was that there were so many dogs (each site can have up to 3) and they were all walked and watered in the grass area opposite our camp site. The camp owners need to fence off an area for the dogs so that other campers do not have to watch them. Community room was locked and not available for use when we stayed - not sure why as camp was very full.

Very clean, well maintained park. Good sized sites with shade. We had good view of water. The weekend we were there they had an all you can eat seafood dinner at a reasonable price. Had the MH washed and waxed at a reasonable price by a service that comes to the park. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

We booked a week here but stayed only 3 nights for several reasons. We were located near the highway which was very busy with a lot of traffic noise. There was nowhere to walk or cycle except up and down the park roads, and it was impossible to walk outside the park - even crossing the road to get to a restaurant involved driving and it took 10 minutes before there was a gap in the traffic.
On the plus side, the beach is small but lovely with lounging chairs and tiki umbrellas, and the pier is a nice spot to enjoy. Each site has 2 sewer connections and cable is good. Sites are narrow and level with a separate parking spot for vehicles.

Our preference is for more space, plenty of trails to walk the dogs and greater privacy, so know we made an error in booking in for a week without doing greater research. However, it was better to lose the $200+ than stay in such a confined space. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Beach RV Park is extremely clean. The park has trees that give you some nice shade. It has a large area to walk your dogs. The management and employees are extremely friendly and helpful. They also keep treats in the office for your dog if you bring him buy. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. The showers are large with a large dressing area. The RV pads are concrete with an area to park your vehicle. We will continue to come back to this park. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We came here not knowing what to expect. After staying for a month and going by every RV park from Destin to Pensacola, this is the best by far. Lots of things to do. About 20 miles west of Destin and 20 miles east of Pensacola. Lots of things to choose from for entertainment.

About the park itself. Lots of long pull thru's. 2 sewer connects, water for washing camper, (there are a couple of guys that will come to your rig & wash at a reasonable price), FHU, private pier & beach, nice pool & clubhouse, about 6 spots up on water front.

Now for the atmosphere, the Host is a wonderful lady, along with her staff. She has many activities at the club house, such as parties, weekly ice cream socials, breakfast, Etc. They will do almost anything to help, including getting you into locked out units, etc. We mentioned a tree branch coming close to our slide cover and they were trimmed within minutes. Will definitely make this a place on our travels. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This RV resort is beautiful and close to Pensacola and Destin. Try TC's porch for breakfast, or go to One Broken Egg in both Pennsacola & Destin. Pensacola had something going on all the time. McAlisters is great for dinners, but pricey.

Easy pull-through with two sewer traps. Laundry room only has 4 of each machine and was busy. Nice pool and small beach with fishing dock. On the Sound, so gentle ocean. Very friendly. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy access from the west on busy Hwy 98, have to make a u-turn somewhere if coming from the east. The reverse is true if you are coming from the east or exiting to go west. Wide paved roads, but sites are narrow and somewhat difficult to get into if you have a long RV. Sites 65-71 at the waterfront are perfect, and plenty of room to park your RV. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beach 1 mile away, plenty of restaruants, Walmart is a few miles east, Publix and Winn Dixie a few miles west.

The best park in the Navarre FL area, it is super clean and the sites are well maintained. Sites are not tiny but by no mean are they super sized, they are pretty much standard minimum size but will not interfere with units next to you. It was quiet there and only issue was too many kids and too many dogs and inconsiderate people who take their dogs to other peoples site to do their business and then walk away, they can't or should I say won't let their dogs do their business on their own sites because they are self-centered and inconsiderate like 95% of the RV'ers who have dogs. The park is a quality park and situated in a good location, we visit this park 2 or 3 times every year. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

First time park but can't wait to come back. All sites paved with gravel area to park vehicle. Numerous shaded sitting areas to sit and enjoy water front and beach area. Friendly staff and many social events held in large rec and kitchen room. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Pick site so awning faces water front to avoid afternoon sun. 58 was great.
