We were very disappointed with this campground because of how close and crowded the campers were. The campground is about 100 feet wide with 4 rows of campers across that width. They also have "cabins" along one side of it. We just don't like crowds and this campground had too many people in too small a space for us to enjoy it. The campground itself is right on Hwy 98 and traffic was very busy. There weren't a lot of restaurants to choose from within a reasonable distance. A super WalMart is just down the road from the park. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Talk about southern hospitality. This park is great and the staff is tremendous. Camped here for 8 days in a big rig. The park has numerous facilities, and awesome little private beach area and some rental cabins. The roads are narrow but I easily drove my rig through without issues. My only problem was that my site had two strips of concrete that the RV tires drive onto, in between was gravel and that was probably two inches lower then the edges of the concrete. Setting jacks was difficult and required me to re-position my rig six or seven times. Even still, I bent a footplate on one of my jacks, problem was remedied when I got some jack pads that equalized the height difference. This is a nice little park with an attentive and helpful staff, some sites may be small for big rigs so ask about them when you make your reservation. I will stay here again. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The private beach area here is not an actual beach but more of a large, well-maintained and inviting sand area that has a long pier that goes out over the water. If you want real beach, Navarre beach is a quick and easy drive.

We loved it here. The managers are excellent and run a great, clean campground. The staff was great and the amenities are fabulous. If you are in the area I recommend staying here and avoiding the bigger, busier places in Destin or Pensacola. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow is all I can say. We stayed at Navarre Beach Campground this past weekend, and we loved it! The staff was great, the park was super clean. They have a very nice pool, and if you get the right campsite, you have a beautiful view of the water. This park is now in my top 3 favorite parks. Some of the snow birds told me that starting this weekend they have nightly activities for the guests at the campground. It is well worth the money, my daughter and her best friend had a blast! We will definitely stay here again!!! We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Navarre beach is just across the bridge, less than two miles from the campground. Also if you like seafood, don't miss out on East Bay Crab House, it is right outside the entrance to the campground and the food is amazing and the service is unbeatable!

We stayed 4 nights at Navarre Beach Campground. Would have stayed longer but they did not have availability. It is a tighter fit but easily maneuverable, with an escort. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We talked to several guests staying in the Cabins and they were well pleased with the cleanliness and accommodations. The pools were clean and well maintained. The small beach area on the Santa Rosa Sound appeared to be a big hit with children and families. We did not get in the water there, we drove over to the Gulf on Santa Rosa Island daily. Ideal place for Families and children do make noise, so if you want total peace and quiet best find a resort elsewhere. We love seeing children have fun so these old folks enjoyed their joy too. Before we left Florida we booked a return trip for 2018 closer to the Beach Area and also booked a cabin for a couple of adult friends who will be traveling with us next year for a few weeks. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

FREE fun at Navarre Park near the bridge to Santa Rosa Island. Day trip FREE Naval Air Museum open to the public, donation boxes available, it is self funded. Tour guides are retired Pilots and Navy personnel volunteer's. Flight simulators for a $. Dining available at reasonable rates in the cafe (we ate there 2 times). Fort Barrancas is an old fort located near the museum. Both located on base near Pensacola Light House. There is a small $$ to go up in the lighthouse.

This is a great campground and cottage colony for people with children, who would enjoy the pool, hot tub, basketball, shuffle board and more. The area of our site was extremely close to other sites. There seemed to be larger sites, with higher fees, closer to the shore front. At the shore, there is a long pier as well as swing sets and chairs for guests. The shore front adjacent to the park was very uninviting, with little or no sand and seaweed and other debris present. The employees are extremely courteous and helpful, and the laundry was very clean. We look for more peaceful and private camp sites, so we do not plan to return. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My wife (and dog) stayed here in mid-May in space 12 which backs up to Santa Rosa Sound. Our stay was very enjoyable. We met the owner and got to know the office staff - all very nice and helpful. They are doing a lot of landscaping work which definitely makes the resort scenic. Very convenient to Destin and Pensecola. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

stayed at one of the few waterview sites where you could actually sit at your site and see the water. Spaces are pretty tight but the location to the beach makes up for it. Campground has a fishing pier and a swimming area for those not wanting to travel to the gulf beach. We traveled over the summer with our grandkids. All of the staff went out of their way to help. We will stay there again when in the area. The ppol wasagood size but the water was very hot.Maybe needed to have a un-heated pool. Walmart and fuel less than 2 miles away. Overall a nice park. Once we registered we had an escorts to our site. Roads are narrow but more than manageable. There are a fewe full timers that bring the park down in my opinion. But not a deal breaker. Sires are close but we were out exploring most of the time so it was irrelevant to us. It is one of the cheaper campgrounds in the area. But it doesn't show it. Well kept, beautiful pool and great staff. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Campground was nice but very tight and crowded, we were unable to hook sewer hose up due to close proximity of next site. Roads are very small and hard to navigate because everyone's vehicles stick out into the road since the sites are small. Extreme rules of this campground made it unpleasant even though they didn't apply to us. Visitors must pay $5 to enter, $10 to hose off your camper, and Internet cannot be used for any online classes, etc. or you will be turned into law enforcement. Not sure how they monitor, but we didn't use it at all for fear that they would also track all our credit card info, etc. with whatever system they use to spy on you. When checking in, you sign and initial more than we did when purchasing a home. Park staff are constantly around but do not speak to you, instead reporting back to office manager and having her call. For instance, at 11:03, as we were outside coiling electric cord and water hose up, truck started and clearly leaving within the next few minutes, a staff member drove by and said something to the camper next to us. My husband waved and said hello, and got into the truck that I was already waiting in. As we were driving away (11:05) the office manager called to remind us in a syrupy-sweet and fake voice that check-out was at 11, and that her park staff had reported that there was no movement at our site and it looked like we had forgotten that we were supposed to leave that day. Had her staff bothered to speak to us or even observe us for a second, it would have been apparent that we were on our way out. Although the park was nice, all the rules and the way we were treated by staff made it clear to us that it wasn't the place for us. We enjoy parks that are nice but a bit more laid back, where park staff treat you like friends or neighbors, not potential criminals that happen to be their customers. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

Navarre Beach was fantastic, and we were fascinated with watching the aircraft from a nearby base; we saw several Osprey helicopters and watched a plane practice dropping test bombs while lounging on the beach. Johnny Huston's grille and bar was tasty, we recommend the nachos and the Mac and cheese burger!

One of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at. When we got back to truck after registering, there was someone waiting to escort us to our site.
