Overall Rating:

We came down to N. Ft. Myers for a Holiday vacation. It's very esay to get to this place off of I-75, though when making a left turn onto Triplett road with a 40ft RV, the road is only one lane and extremely tight to make that left turn. We arrived on Thanks Giving Day and pulled into the park. We were greeted by a very nice staff member who showed us to our site. This RV park is tucked away under a canopy of oak trees, secluded but you can hear some hwy noise, near the entrance of the RV Park only. The road in the Rv park is very small and has tight turns. We stayed in site #116. If you have a big rig like ours it was tight to back in. On this site there was barley enough room to put out our awing, it almost touched our neighbors coach. The inside sites are much closer together than the outside sites which have much more room. The RV sites are very nice, and you have a clean pad to put out all your gear. There are a lot of full-timers here, and understandable. You are packed in like sardines, but it's really not an issue. The staff here is really nice. Garbage pickup is twice a day & recycling!!! The front office has great information. A member of staff who works here full time, washed and waxed our coach for a fantastic price. So if your coach is in need of a wash and a wax, ask. Awesome person!! If your coach is in need of work while you stay here, the front office has all kinds of business cards to get your problems resolved. This place states it has a new bath house never used it. Also a large laundry room. The workout room smells really bad, like a tire store, rubber smell yuk! Just down the road on 78 about 2.9 miles away on the right hand side of the road across the street from Publix, is the famous bald eagle Harriet and M-13 nest. We got to see first hand of the changing of the guard last night, as one eagle flew out of the nest and the other flew in for the night watch. This place is a little pricey, but good. Places is friendly. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our 7th winter to stay at this park. This is the first year there has been a problem between neighbors (that we know about). Usually everyone gets along very well. Hopefully this is a one time occurrence. We love the people here and love our neighbors. We don't have any animals, but as in any park there are always people who disobey the rules about cleanup. We have a Class A with four slides. I wish we had more room between units, but we are not as close as some. It just depends on your size. Yes, the wi-fi is not always good, but we don't need it because we have it on our phones. There is music at the pool. We love the genre and most of the time you can barely hear it. There are trees with a lot of hanging moss so some spots cannot get good TV reception. We asked for a sunny spot. We have perfect Direct TV reception. It's too bad you just can't please everyone. We are very happy. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

First off, this is a snowbird park, so in season it is full capacity and expensive. 1200 a month+elec. We stayed from 3-1-15 through 8-1-15. The park is very nice and clean and the folks are friendly. There is a nice nature trail for walking along with a nice Gym, and rec room. They were installing the new pool and it wasn't finished before we left, but it was going to be a walk in style pool. Sites are great. Level, clean, all hookups. Wifi is sketchy at best. Its was constant struggle while we were there. Depending on location of your site you may or may not have access. And even with a good signal its constantly losing internet connection. Overall though it is a nice park and close to everything Lee County has to offer. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects a week's stay. Pros : well-kept and clean facilities, easy access to and in the park with our larger RV, employee who assisted us in parking was excellent, quiet at night, very pet friendly. Cons: close spaces (common to south Florida), too pet friendly if you are not a dog person (most campers had one or more dogs - many large breeds). If in area we would stay here again but would probably try other campgrounds closer to beaches and area attractions first. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Stayed there for the months of Jan-Feb 2015 Nice location just off I-75. Could hear some traffic noise from the interstate. Very clean facilities. Lots of nice attractions around the area. Smaller campground. Very clean with great garbage pickup service. Lots of activities, more than we could keep up with. You can tell the management has put a lot of effort into improvements. A little bit of a tight fit in some sites. Nice little lake adjoining that made for some wonderful sunsets. Internet is spotty like most campgrounds. Overall very satisfied. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice little eating place down the road a mile. Fairly close proximity to all of the grocery, drugstore, Walmart locations. About 20 minutes from downtown Ft Myers. Lots of oak trees that made for a lot of leaf blowing at our site. All around experience was good.

Nice park--great upgrades since three years ago. All sites are nicely kept and level. Bit tight with all the trees but a little bit of time and no problems. Have to ask at the office for the code for the Wi-Fi code as it is not readily offered but works great. All utilities are in great locations. Permanent residents were well maintained and pleasant. Weekenders are a bit loud but that is to be expected--lots of kids. Would stay again when in the area. Great staff, we arrived after they closed and they still opened the office and were very polite. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Friendly office staff, nice neighbors, good shade. But the sites are laid out in a mishmash, such that when we backed in our rear end was a couple of feet from the side of the neighbor's MH. (Think T-bone.) The sites are also close together and the shade trees are a mixed blessing. It took a *lot* of maneuvering to get backed in so we could extend our slides and avoid trees. We ended up with one side on the concrete pad. We didn't use the Wi-Fi - I don't think it was even offered. Price reflects a Good Sam discount. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall, a nice park. We stayed 10 days in season and it was very quiet. Location is convenient to the interstate and local shopping. Lots of maintenance people always picking up garbage, recycling and watching the activity in the park. Only downside was I thought it was a bit overpriced for not having cable TV. Our antenna did pick up the local channels though. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the month of October at $550. Not sure what their daily rate is. We loved this place. So friendly and the staff is outstanding. They were building more new tiled shower/bath facilities while we were here, that were 95% complete and are beautiful. The place is very shady. The only drawback is the because of all the trees, the squirrels where always shaking little acorns loose from the trees. Minor detail. The place is very clean. The staff is continually driving around and picking up trash and recycle bins. This is not a "just for seniors" place, so on Halloween there were families there with their kids having a great time. By and large this is a quiet place during the school year, which is the time that we are here anyway. We love this place. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great stay-will be wintering next year and wanted to spend a night to make sure we made the right call. The owner is doing very good things with this RV park. It is a work in progress but they have done a great job to date. Would prefer wider sites (perhaps another 10') but length is great. Internet good, abundant shade, roads well laid out, staff second to none when it comes to customer service. A sign to indicate where to sign in would be helpful. Night time lighting exemplary. Direct TV easy to use on east side of grounds. Great meal at the Alva Diner 12 miles to the east. Many other restaurants nearby. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: November, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Seminole Campground turned out to be a hidden jewel. It had everything we were looking for, located just off of interstate 75 in North Ft. Myers it was so convenient to everything in Southwest Florida, Beaches, great shopping and terrific natural sites like Lovers Key State Park and Cayo Costa. The sites were clean and the entire campground was draped in a canopy of old live oaks providing both shade and old Florida elegance. The kids enjoyed the pool and nature walks around the stream. The world famous shell factory was just around the corner and we could not believe how terrific it was! The folks who ran the park were courteous and helpful, it was great to be in the middle of it all but feel so far away. Best of all it was just a short hop to the beaches of Naples, Sanibel and Ft. Myers. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.
