We made reservations in advance and were told there was only one spot left. Unfortunately we paid for 3 nights up front (it was a holiday weekend) and there is no refund. We only lasted one night and would have left even sooner if we could have found another spot to stay. The campground is on busy Route 1 and a little tough to find even with a GPS. We were told that we were being put in a "temporary" spot and could move the next day when another rig left. The spot we were put in was in front of someone else's trailer. The campground is small with one road (driveway in) and one out. The driveway out was actually blocked with two RVs so that there really was only one exit. Several RVs were double parked such that the RV behind could not get out. I do not know what would have happened if there was a fire or some emergency as many people could not exit easily. The worst part of our stay was that a train runs right in back of the sites many times during the day / night. It is a large train that screeches and honks the horn several times each trip. Literally it was about 10 feet away from the back of our site. I wish we had known about this in advance as the reviews were quite good. The restrooms were clean. We camped at Harris Village RV Park (Adult Park) in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on a monthly basis for contract work. Our rate was around 500/month excluding electricity.

Immediately greeted by the owner upon arrival. I had to back into my space, and I do believe it was the tightest space in the park. But the owner was right there beside me, telling me exactly where and how far to turn my wheels to get properly set up.

There are some concrete pads mixed in with grass spots. Ours was grass, but was so level, I did not have to jack up either side of our camper.

I really have nothing bad to say about this place...it is a hidden jewel and I am so glad we found it. It is beside the Iron Horse Saloon frequented by bikers, but we hardly knew they were there.

This park is small and quiet. If you like quiet and no kids, this is the place for you. We camped at Harris Village RV Park (Adult Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

You are just minutes away from one of the prettiest beaches there is and I live at the beach in NC. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. You are a day trip away from Cape Kennedy, Ocala, Orlando, and other tourist spots. You are a day's drive from Key West. We made the trip so I know.

I highly recommend visiting areas in Port Orange, New Smyrna...lots of good fresh seafood there.

Small park with level lots and big rig friendly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Showers and laundry were good. No dog park which made walking dog difficult. Convenient to Daytona 500. Located beside Ironhorse Salon in the middle of bike week so noisy but made it easy to walk and see all the activities. Wifi was excellent. No problem using our satellite dish. We are presently spending our fifth winter season (about two months for us) at Harris Village RV Park. We knew our first year that we had "lucked" upon the right place for us. A number of couples return here year after year and become "family." Anyone who wants to become part of the family is welcome, or if you prefer your privacy that is also honored. The owners, are very personable and work day and night to keep the park immaculate. They go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. Cable TV and WiFi are always in good working order. The ocean is about a ten-minute drive, and everything you could possibly need or want is close by in Ormond Beach or Daytona Beach. We highly recommend Harris Village to anyone who is interested in a small, quiet, no frills, affordable RV park in Florida. In fact, we probably should keep this place one of Florida's "best-kept secrets." :-) We camped at Harris Village RV Park (Adult Park) in a Motorhome.

This is a small urban RV park suitable for overnight or short stays. Recommended for adults only as there are explicit art silhouettes on the exteriors of the bathrooms that some may find offensive. It is a very clean and relatively quiet campground. The people were friendly enough. However, there is no privacy because the sites are very close together and there is no vegetation or structures between sites. We camped at Harris Village RV Park (Adult Park) in a Motorhome.
