On a good note, it is very close to the beach, about 750 ft. across a very busy road. You are close to several resort hotels and the noise from them goes on all night. There is a large outdoor video screen on one of the hotels that lights up the campground like day time. Wifi was terrible, if you can connect at all, it soon drops. Very slow...difficult to even do email. As you would expect, lots of sand. The sites are paved with a concrete patio and picnic table. Lots of permanent residents around the perimeter. We were on site 34 which backs up to some kind of waste water treatment thing. The whole time we were there it smelled like sewer. Garbage pickup regularly at the site. Also, LOTS of road noise. I am usually not bothered by that, but this was like being on strip at Vegas. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The beach is about all this location offers. Not much else to do except shop. Given other options, I would stay either at the Emerald Coast (little more expensive, but NICE) or down the road at Raccoon River RV park. Oh and there is a large Walmart a few miles down the road.

Lesson here: Don't go to Fl during the winter or spring break. Charges are so unreasonable to be ridiculous. Campground was difficult to find in large part to my GPS. Night staff was very helpful in finding when I called and gave a vague description of where we were lost. Asked for pull thru, got back in. Nearly an impossible spot to back into with a 40-ft even with dolly and tow detached but staff was very helpful in getting us in. We immediately found Wi-fi wasn't working. Notified management. They were there next morning and were to call cable company or run a REALLY long wire to our site in the very back of the grounds. Next day it had not been fixed and they had a pull-thru become available. Moved with no problem only to find cable box had been "gutted". Repair was made by late that afternoon. Some of the camp was with permanent trailers rented out and most of the others appeared to be seasonal. Directly across from us was the tent area. Concerned at first, given Spring Break, but found they were quiet and appropriate. Across the street was a very loud lounge but not after about 11-12 pm. Our site (both of them) were paved with no electric or other problems. Grounds are not what you would expect for this price with the permanent sites and many of the mobiles were unkempt. We were told the manager was "let go" our second day. The only good thing I can say was that the staff was helpful before and after the "let-go" manager. 50 amp was fine as was water and sewer connections. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A lot to do in Panama City especially at the Pier. Lunch at Margaritaville allowed dogs outside and volunteered water for them. Dog friendly in all that area and a smaller piece of beach. Our boxers loved it. Two State/National parks were almost a 2 hour drive. Neither are worth the $$ and effort. Pretty much a typical Florida tourist attraction but fun for a short time. Beaches we went to were not crowded and Gulf water is prettier than Atlantic!

We opted to stay here to be near the walking beach which is just across the road from the Park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms, showers and laundry are in dated building but staff worked hard to keep them clean (and were successful). Our negatives would be the cost as the $20 did not include a $100/monthly tax and the monthly rate increased by $200 beginning 3/1; hard to keep sand out of RV's; next to road and some nightclubs were quite noisy late into evening and early morning. Plus factors are staff, store, shopping and the beach. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stayed here several times and always satisfied. Campground is located across the street from the beach. The pool has recently been refurbished. There is a kiddie pool also. Bathhouses are clean and quite adequate. Also has an onsite store for supplies and a laundromat. Not the fanciest place but always welcoming and comfortable. Based on past reviews we didn't really know what to expect. On arrival we were happy to see a nice pool with some covered area with tables and lounge chairs. Although we had a reservation there was someone already in our site. The office staff worked quickly to get us into another site close to our other family members we were camping with. As others have noted this is an older park and is lacking in some areas. However, the management and staff are making improvements. The pool has been refurbished as well as the restrooms and showers. No there isn't a lot of lush green landscaping but this park is very near the beach with sandy Florida soil that is hard to get anything to grow in without a lot of water and attention. The roads are a little rough but no worse than some other campgrounds. Staff is always out checking on things and available. Trash is picked up at your site. Utilities were on the wrong side but not a problem. Overall a good experience and we would camp here again. We camped in a travel trailer. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Travel Trailer.

I believe this is a former KOA. Campers are packed in one on top of another with barely 10 feet separating the units. There is also the issue of hookups. Some have the water and electric on the opposite side making for interesting routing of cable and hose. The campground is situated within a stone's throw of an amusement park and along a main street making it a less than peaceful location It is however in the midst of the action making it a relatively short walk to the beach. The pool is clean and well kept. The taxes are a killer here with additions for "transient Tax", "Bed Tax (I brought my own but was still taxed)", "County Sales Tax" etc. The store is well stocked and the staff competent. This is a one time visit for us. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Motorhome.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The park is an older one...but they are upgrading slowly. I found 2 sandspurs in the bottom of our shoes in 4 days...so I can't say that was a real issue. There is some road noise but I can't say light or noise impacted our stay at all. Bathhouse was remodeled and was nice and clean. It's not a perfect park, but the location is good and the services were all very adequate. The only inconvenience was that power and water hookups were on the front of the camper? I find it difficult to complain about this park. We will come back. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Travel Trailer.

Do check out Surfside Grill a couple of miles down the road for fresh, steamed seafood. It's a hole in the wall....but well worth stopping in!

An absolute slum! The worst campground/trailer park on PCB. Bathrooms are nasty and not repaired (holes in ceiling through the roof, tiles falling off shower and floor, no outside lights around the bathrooms). Sewage constantly backing up into the park from the permanent trailers. There is no grass, the ground is completely covered with sand spurs. It's obvious the maintenance workers don't actually work. It shows all over the park. Being a trailer park, the permanent residents were mean and rude with lots of drama. Homeless guys roaming the park and sleeping in the bathroom.

Just a nasty place, I won't ever be back and I'd NEVER bring my kids here! We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Motorhome.

Price reflects GS discount. We will never stay here again! You are paying for beach access which is across the street & behind a huge nightclub. So you walk across a huge asphalt parking lot, around the side and then onto the beach. Sites are small & cramped with nothing but asphalt, sand & burrs everywhere. No where to walk the dog where his feet weren't burning from concrete or hot sand; then had to pick burrs off of him once back inside. I will say that the staff was very friendly & the pool was big, nice & clean. Nightclub across the street flashes it's sign all night & lots of noise. Next time we will opt for one of the other campgrounds off the main drag & drive to the beach. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Motorhome.

I put $85 a night but I am not sure what the cost per night is since we decided to stay longer! This is a wonderful place to be. The campground is nice and the Staff are AMAZING! They are always helpful and will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy at your campsite. There is free WiFi and it is just a short walk across the road to the beach. It's actually within walking distance of everything! I've made this our new Beach getaway place. The price is great, the location is great, and the people are amazing! So happy we found this little paradise away from home. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Travel Trailer.

I stayed here for nearly 3 months January-March 2014. The park is a little old and the roads are beat up but the people are fantastic. This is the perfect location for beach access and being close to everything. I had a great stay here. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Motorhome.

This could be a nice park if they ever decide who they want to cater to. There were a lot of old run down units in the park that had been there awhile, some of which didn't look as if they were being used. Along the back side were mobile homes that had aged as well. Park roads and pads need some work. The Staff was friendly and great. Large neon signs across the road flashed all night. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Not really terrible, but this place is so loaded with sand spurs it is their Wi-Fi password. Our dogs would not walk off the patio because of the sand spurs. I am still digging them out of my carpet. The laundry was really nice, the staff seemed pretty friendly, and they have a pretty well stocked store. Beach access is fine. But we would not stay here again.
