This park is absolutely gorgeous!! The grounds are very clean and well maintained. There are two pools, a hot tub, a dog park, laundry facilities, a club house, and even a bathing station for dogs. VERY clean and well maintained!!! We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Expensive park for us (we are the state park campsite type), but one of few available when we called) Beautiful park, nice hot tub, friendly staff and campers. We parked next to the zoo wall and got lion roars to sleep by. You quickly get used to it, but sort of fun.

Wifi at site was non-existant, but very good in clubhouse. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay at Emerald Coast. Although a bit pricey and relatively close, it is a beautiful place with a community feel. The landscaping, cleanliness, and amenities should be the standard by which other private RV parks are judged. The staff was exceptional.
I am looking forward to returning for a longer stay. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older park that has done a very good job of maintenance and upkeep. All interior roads in the older sections are concrete with concrete pads at each site. Sites are close together but with good landscaping providing some separation. The newer section for larger RV's and park models has interlocking pavers for roads and spaces -- very attractive. The newer section RV spaces are pull-in for motorhomes and back-in for fifth wheels on two sides of a man-made lake with fountains that run during the day. These spaces are nicely separated and landscaped with bushes and palm trees.

Every morning teams of gardeners and maintenance personnel keep the whole park spotless. Trash is picked up frequently throughout the day. There are activities offered in the clubhouse for those who want to socialize. The park is very pet-friendly with a large dog run and walking trails around the lake...pickup bags are available in many locations and the residents definitely picked up after their pets. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

We arrived 11/18/15 , $70 PN for a" back in" inc W&S&E 50 amp, inc tax of 11 1/2% The lady's took our reservation over the phone, and when we arrived a few hours later we were pleasantly greeted. the roads are all paved and clean, we drove to our site and my eyes got very wide! small, very small and very tight. Our tires just barley fit on the 30 year old slab, we got the RV in perfect only to find out our slide would hit a tree, closed it up and moved it over a foot so one side of tires is 1/2 off the slab. We are so close to the nice neighbors that we can here them talking in their RV., our picnic table is so close that we cannot open the doors to basement compartments and it is 1/2 way under one of our slide outs. A lot of the middle back in sites and others are much larger than ours also. This was site 39 I requested a site that would get satellite and was told some do and others do not. 75% of sites in this park would get satellite but NOT the ones we are in. And probably not a lot of them near the main office building. For sure, sites 38 to 56 will not get sat service as there is a wall of trees in the rear. We are in site 39.

The WiFi is good most of the time, the cable TV is OK.

We asked to be moved and requested available sites, we took site 102 still a back in, what a difference! We get our sat TV, the slab and spacing is much larger and we are much happier.

The park is very well laid out and maintained, lots of nice snowbirds staying for the winter, no trailer trash here! Nicely lit at night, has two pools and an exercise room, basketball hoop, fenced in dog area. The newer premium sites are much larger and very nice in an open area around a man made lake. Roads and sites in the premium area are all brick pavers and very attractive.

Oh ya one more thing, this park is very expensive for a night or a week, however the monthly rates are extremely reasonable for what you get. Go figure? Check it out on their web site. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were here to visit family. We were going to stay for just 3 days but the park itself is very nice so we stayed 10 days.

The beach is the thing to do, 4 miles down the strip is the pier. Tons of places to eat and shop.

Emerald has a large "resident" camping population, but the sites available to short stay are incredible. The vast majority of sites for short stay are pull-through. The park hosts are very helpful. They have trash pick-up to avoid dumpsters. There is no noise despite being in the middle of PCB. The park and all amenities are immaculate. There is a mixture of housing that gives the park an eclectic feel. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For the short stay, this is in the pricey category as we did not have the time to enjoy the amenities. Wouldn't suggest paying for the "big rig" sites around the pond. You get the same ambiance on any site. The premium sites come with picnic table and grille. Security is excellent.

Very clean resort style RVing. Staff extra friendly. Site Hosts are wonderful and helpful to know the area. Wifi was upgraded and is now free with rental. Two swimming pools that were well maintained. Many activities you can take part in to meet new friends. There are "Happy Campers" here! We return many times while in the Northwest Florida area. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is very nice but very expensive. Many things that other parks include are extra charges here. The dog area is very nice and large. Overall we did not feel the value was very good. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

This resort was very conveniently located in Panama City. It is close to the ocean and sight seeing that Panama City has to offer. The park itself was very clean and picturesque, with lots of palm trees and nice landscaping. The Class A motorhome section has two lakes (I think "man made" lakes) with fountains in the middle. We could see the water from our site which was not a "water side site". The resort has a pool, activities and clubhouse. We would go again!

Very nice resort. Close to local attractions and coast. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Zoo World is right next to the park!

This gated park was what can I say but Phenomenal!! From the people who work there to the dog yard, Everything is the BEST! We stayed two weeks, wish it were longer. Our site #141, looked out onto the pond with wildlife galore. Paved sites were very spacious picnic table with tiki umbrella, Weber gas grill on site were so easy to maneuver as my husband needs to be pushed in a wheelchair. This was part of my husband's bucket list trip all made worthwhile in part due to this gorgeous facility! Hopefully we can come back next year! We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to all of what Panama City Beach has to offer. There's even a Pet Sitter on site! We took our two Rottweillers to Naju Pet Resort which was a 20 minute drive but our dogs loved it!

This is a very nice park. The entrance and older streets are a little tight, but the newer, premium section is very nice with brick paver streets and pads. The sites are wide with vegetation and grass between sites. The utility hook-ups are well-positioned and worked well. We did not use any amenities. We would definitely consider staying here again if in the area. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

This has historically been the best camping resort we've ever experienced. While we truly love this beautiful place and have visited frequently, we are worried that it is getting too expensive and that they are not maintaining older parts of the park. All resources seem to be focused on establishing the newer sites in the park. For example. the turf (which was at one time perfect)is in severe decline or is missing all together around sites in the middle of the park and when we were there the grass that remained was a bit high. The timers on the sprinkler system are set to go off around sunrise making early morning walks (or departures) quite messy. Not sure if we will be returning for quite a while. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice campground, but it is expensive. Cable and WiFi are additional charges to their base rate. We stayed in the new class A section on the small lake. Sites there were wide and level and base was pavers. A table and chairs with umbrella is provided at each site in this section along with a gas grill. The main entry road is narrow (only one rig at a time). Security was good with a 'clicker' required for access after the office closed, and the camp host was located just inside the gate. Overall a very nice resort, but somewhat overpriced. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice resort with some nice pools. Laundry room was expensive, but the washer/dryers are wonderful and clean. I didn't use their facilities, but I'm sure they were clean as well. They even have a dog friendly bath tub and hair dryer! I'm not sure I liked the idea of kids on bikes without parental supervision since I watched a small boy (about 5 or 6) on an electric toy jeep driving constantly around and around the circle roads then almost get run over because he cut off a driver trying to back up his 5th wheel into the lot. He was lucky the driver saw him in time and the little boy pass by. The dog park was really nice too with tunnels and balls all fenced in. The lake was nice, but man made. The beach and shopping outlets are fairly close by too. I'd stay there again even though there aren't many trees and you don't get a lot of room for each site. People mention about the zoo noise, but it's pretty cool to listen to and really you don't hear it all that much. No biggie. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.
