Pet friendly facility and dog doo-doo stations strategically placed. Mature trees provide shade to many sites. Fast WiFi. Level concrete site. Landscaping for privacy between sites but very close to our neighbors. Full hookups that were easily accessed including cable. Nice size pool and common area patio and hot tub. Secure feeling because entire site surrounded by privacy fence. A zoo bordered one side of the property. Wide concrete roadways allowed easy big rig turning. Convenient to Grand Lagoon and restaurants/arcades, ten minutes from the beach and ten minutes from Walmart and Harley-Davidson shop. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

1) Front Beach Rd. is torn up all along the beach (July 2018). Difficult to get into and out of businesses along the beach on the North side. 2) We enjoyed Hammerhead Fred's food and atmosphere. We also enjoyed Off the Hook's food and atmosphere overlooking the Grand Lagoon.

It seems this park has recently become part of a larger company. Service has dropped slightly from previous visits. For example - no longer free donuts and rolls in morning. Very nice site with shade. The location is close to a lot of attractions. One of the nicest parks we have stayed - clean, a lot of activities, great dog park and two fishing ponds. We were in site 21 towards the front with a 31' TT for 4 nights. Concrete site w/ picnic table. Our site backed up to Zoo. First night we heard elephant, otherwise, very quiet. Great for travel with an active dog. Lots of shaded area to walk around one of ponds. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a very well maintained Resort, and although the staff were helpful check in was a little congested due to the fact that the entrance/exit was on the tight side, so only one RV at a time could be checked in, while the rest of the Rv's had to wait in line in the busy road. Interior roads were a mix of concrete and lovely brick pavers and big rig access was good. Our paved level and pull through pad was very long and we had a beautiful view over the lake. Our site was spacious with plenty of space for our towed and a small picnic table There was plenty of privacy between sites and we had wonderful palm trees for shade. Although the Resort was busy it was quiet and everyone seemed to abide by the rules. Bathrooms and laundries were spotless, and there was an after hours security gate, which we liked. Pet friendly with a nice dog walk, doggie bags and disposal station. WiFi was marginal and slow. There were plenty of food stores and restaurants close by as well as lovely beaches. We would stay here again, however we felt it was expensive and we were paying for a lot of amenities that we did not need or want. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $84.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here close to 10 years ago and this was a night & day experience for us the 2nd time. The first time around, we camped in a TT & they put us behind ZooWorld. It was fun for our kids to hear the monkeys at night & see the Giraffe peering over, but the smell was not very pleasant. Back then, it was privately owned and it wasn't as expanded as it is today or kid friendly. We scheduled our spring break plans in April on short notice and Emerald Coast was the only campground near the beach, that had availability. I originally scheduled our reservation online, but later called to check on the location and decided to upgrade to their Motorcoach premier sites on the lake. It was phenomenal. We stayed on site 142 and my kid was able to fish feet from the RV. We camped in a 36ft Motorhome w/2 slides. The sites were nicely paved with brick and had a nice picnic table with thatch umbrella. The sites were nicely manicured and there was a high hedge of trees in between, which added some nice privacy. We were across from the 2nd pool, laundry, bathrooms, basketball/volleyball courts and dog park. Everything was so convenient. There were a few permanents, but as vacationer, I wanted to be a permanent in this place too. We took our dog to the dog park daily for exercise & although they were adding some new sod, the park was very well maintained. My husband made a comment that the only thing missing were benches, so he could relax and low & behold the next day, there were benches. It was almost like they heard him. The other great amenity was the curbside propane fill. We have a gas fire pit and would fill the tanks at least twice a week. All we had to do was leave it on the side of the curb during the day and someone would come pick it up, fill it and drop it off later that day. All CGs should have that service. We have already made our RSVPs for next time. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beaches were a few blocks. Stores & area recreation were super convenient. Best to have a car or golf cart to get around the area. WiFi wasn't the best. Bring your own if your looking for high speeds.

Beautiful park! So big so almost every day we all hopped on our bikes and rode around. Easily did 2-4 miles without feeling like we were just doing loops. We backed up to a small zoo so we heard the lions 2x a day! That was awesome! Laundry rooms were clean and had plenty (think there were 2 or 3 different laundry rooms around the park) Wifi was not strong at all. Had to connect to our phones almost every time and definitely couldn't stream. They did pick up trash twice a day so that was great. Lots of traffic though and only 2 major roads in and out so what should have taken less than 10 min to get to, took about 20. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two nights, over NYE. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean and the staff were very nice. Nice location, close to everything. No direct beach access, but only a 5 minute drive. Some road noise, but we were parked next to the office (by the street) so that's to be expected. I'm a light sleeper and it did not keep me awake. Cable was fuzzy, but wifi was good. AT&T coverage was strong. Nice playground area and two (outdoor) heated pools. Fishing pond and a large dog run. There are some nice class A sites, by the fishing pond. Sites and roads are paved. Really nice property. We've already reserved, another weekend! We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the finest RV parks we've ever visited in 35 years of RVing. So well developed and maintained its hard to find anyway to improve. Now they are under the Sun RV resorts organization and it will be interesting to see if the high standards set by previous owners continue. The staff is excellent. We try to visit 4 times a year for a week each time. One of the most relaxing places you can imagine. Site size is great. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

The park is exceptionally neat. Trash is picked up three times a day. Dog pots are conveniently placed all around. The landscaping is attractive. It is like a small town with a section of park models. It is a little expensive since it is not on the beach, so i still prefer Topsail State Park or Grayton State Park when I can get in. They also have full hook-ups and are on the beach and are less expensive. Still, this is a nice facility. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Spent three nights evacuating from hurricane Irma. Very nice park. The sites are close together, but nice vegetation between the sites makes that more bearable. The staff is super nice and helpful. Site was long enough for my tow without disconnecting. Utilities were well placed and worked well. I would definitely stay again. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

Spent four days here but didn't get to use all their facilities. This park is truly a resort with two pools, a picnic area and other amenities. Our site was a pull-in which left us overlooking a small lake. The site was paved with pavers a totally level. Each site included a table with umbrella and four chairs. The site was double wide and long enough for any MH with tow. There are "bush" dividers between the sites which improves the privacy afforded each site. The grounds and maintained to perfection. When the office is closed there is a gate controlling access - however unlike other parks with this feature you receive a remote control which avoids having to remember and overreach to punch a code - nice touch. Another nice touch is that trash is collected from your site three times a day. This park calls itself a resort and deserves the title! We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Despite tropical storm Cindy dumping 8+ inches of rain on us for two days, the park cleaned itself up of all debris by the next day. The salt water pool is wonderful and the staff helpful and friendly. There's a public beach just a short drive or take the park's shuttle. We had never visited the Florida panhandle before. The beach and ocean are wonderful here! The dog beach was a highlight for us and our Wesite. Enter across the street from Margaritaville at Pier Park using beach entrance 57 or 58. Great restaurants in the area too. Cuvee 30A, Hook'd, Saltwater Grill and Firefly were our favorites.
