Price was for a one month stay. About 90 sites, all of which are very close together. There are a lot of trees on the nice landscaped property. All sites are on grass and have picnic tables. No fire rings. The 2 pools and playground are very nice and clean as well. The main office has a nicely stocked store for both groceries and RV stuff. There is shuffleboard and volleyball, but no rec center. There seemed to be a few hiking trails off the beaten path, although I'm not sure they're meant to be used for hiking; they're just there. I did not use the bathhouse, but I did look in. It appeared to be clean, but had a musty, moldy smell on the tiles. In one of the stalls, the tiles were very warped. Mind you, I'm very squeamish when it comes to campground facilities, so unless it's like a 5 star hotel, I wouldn't use it, so I can't really fairly judge the restrooms or public showers. There is a lake, but the only way to access it is by a bridge, which was closed. We arrived when the park was nearly empty, which provided a nice view out of the window. It did get very busy and filled up over Labor Day weekend, but it was still very pleasant. No wild, drunken folks making loud noises, no unruly kids running around, or dogs barking. All in all, still very pleasant, even if not so scenic to look at all the RVs and campers. We only met one woman who worked in the office. She was very friendly and helpful. My only complaints: 1) The roads around the park are gravel and dirt with a lot of potholes. 2) Our site had full hookups and a picnic table, which was on a cement slab which was broken and cracked. 3) The electricity at our site was substandard. In general, it was fine until the weekend when it got very busy. Then we were practically without power (not good when the thermostat reads 107!) because our surge protector kept shutting off, which it does whenever the voltage gets too high or too low. I'm told this is not unusual at a busy campground, but it wouldn't happen if they invested in upgrading their power grids. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would come back again. The park is well located, right across the street from the beach. Our site was large, clean and well treed. The office staff was friendly and efficient. We had no trouble parking our 40' rig on our back in site and had lots of room around it. The Wi-Fi was great as was the cable TV. We didn't use any of the rec facilities, but they looked great. We would camp here again. We camped at Raccoon River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Stayed here for 4 months in 2009. Numerous cats still running rampant. Roots sticking up in many sites, making them unusable. No visual improvements, broken sewer lines, trashy, and no monthly rates after March 2012. Would I stay here again? Not even for $20.00 We camped at Raccoon River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We stayed 4 nights with no issues. The campground's infrastructure is old and could use improvement but is not a must. Lots of shaded lots. Lots of sandy ground around the pads. No breakers on the 50 amp service at our site. Big dips and holes in the driveways. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute drive to all the glitz. Front office eager to please. We used our own RV facilities so I couldn't say how the restrooms are. We camped at Raccoon River Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very family friendly campground. We have been going there for over 20 years. The staff is a little unorganized and they need to update their system for reservations. They have two swimming pools (one heated and one not) that are well maintained. Some of the sites are hard to get in and out of due to trees but the trees make sure there is plenty of shade in the heat to the day. We camped at Raccoon River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
