This is county-run CG is great. Only 30 min (60 min rush hour) to downtown Miami, but lots to do right here. Interior roads and sites are paved. Sites have lots of grassy area, with great spacing between, they are level and have a concrete patio, fixed grill and picnic tables in good condition. Some sites have lake view and a few are shady. Traffic/city noise is really not an issue (although there was some nearby construction). Although there is no camp store, there's plenty of shopping nearby. There are walking/biking trails, a fishing pier, water park($), water skiing($) and more. Cell coverage and WiFi were great. There is a laundry facility in the center of the CG and two restroom buildings, as well. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Full hook up, regardless of back in or pull thru, lake view or not, all sites are one price which you can't beat for this area that is near everything from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. The park's amenities include a lake for water skiing or fishing, batting cage, tennis courts, water park (fee),and so much more. It's a beautiful piece of peaceful paradise. Been here twice and loved it each time! Would definitely return and highly recommend! Lot spacing is spacious with some shade. Site surface was a concrete pad, featuring a picnic table and patio. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

One word: awesome. Incredible County run park. Large paved sites. We were on the water. Good interior roads. I have nothing but praise for the park. The only down side is the heavy traffic on roads leading to the park, but it is located in an urban area, so that is to be expected. Some long-term guests say weekends can get noisy with events in the other section of the park, but then listening to famous music acts at your campsite at no additional charge is not a bad deal. I would stay here again. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the handicap site, #66, across from the restroom in the new area. Our site was level, many were not. Some were under trees, some out in the open. We loved our beautiful wide, long, level cement pad near the water. There were dozens of big rigs around this huge Broward County Park and we enjoyed the three nights we stayed. So much to do! The staff was friendly and so were our neighbors. There is a large school with a well lit field across the huge lake that may bring some noise during games but I am a lite sleeper and slept just fine all three nights. It is a huge park, lots of boaters (no swimming) walkers, tennis, racket ball and bike riders. The restrooms were spotless but newer than the rest in the park and I didn't check the old restrooms out. It is a bit more than we normally pay per night but it is a great park and near everything...groceries, shopping, dining, theaters. We would stay again if in the area. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

Been here before when we came to visit kids. Nice park and good road system. Staying in the new section now with less trees to contend with and a good view of the water. Nice level sites and good water and elect. Staying 3 weeks but they do not give you a discount for that. Pretty quiet. Have tables and camping grills to uses at the site. Nice grass. Will stay again. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful county park with excellent facilities for RV'ing. Large sites, well manicured, very clean. Easy access to Miami-Dade and Broward counties as well as the Florida turnpike. One of the best RV parks we've ever used. When in the area we will definitely stay there again. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Travel Trailer.

Back again. Great park. Lots to do. Very friendly staff. Was on site 51 this trip. Site was paved but not level. Had to use my leveling blocks. Huge field behind me where kids can play. Bathroom was nearby as well to my site. Very shaded circle and quiet at night. Will come here again. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent campground, I think run by the state (or county). In a very large park that offers mini-golf, bike trails, tennis courts (big complex), a large amphitheater, etc. Great walking, jogging, dog-walking. Large staff works overtime to keep it clean - lots of day use outside of the actual RV area by picnic-ers, families at the play areas, etc. The RV park itself was spotless and located on a large manmade lake with lots of birds. Roads were perfect and Rv spaces paved and level. Hook-ups worked fine. Would definitely stay at this park again. The whole region outside the park is congested, trafficky and lined with shopping centers and mega-stores - the park is like an oasis of calm. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

Great park with lots to do. This was my first camping trip with my family and it was a success. Quiet park, friendly people, nice views, good pressure, clean, water park on the grounds, and fun for the kids. Would definitely go back. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice paved level sites with plenty of room between. Centrally located; we used this spot as a stop-off when heading into the Keys and when returning. We'd use it again. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gave this park a 5 due to the noise around the park. Bordering the back of the park is a middle school, high school, and YMCA with lots of loud noise during and after school activities until midnight. One night a Relay For Life benefit with loud bands playing started at 8:00 PM continued all night until 8:00 AM the next morning. With windows closed and air conditioner fan running all night it still disturbed our sleep. On the front side of the park is a large hospital with emergency vehicles with sirens coming and going all the time. No monthly or weekly rates just daily at $40.00 which we thought was expensive for a county park; county residents pay $30.00. There are extra charges for all the activities; swimming, driving range, tennis, batting cage, etc. The saving grace about this park is the park itself. Sites are spread out, a lot of pull through sites, some shade, clean & well kept. Great location for all the shopping you ever need to do. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

Park is quiet, yet within walking distance of Pembroke Lakes Mall, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Park is clean and well-kept and sites are large compared to commercial RV parks in area. Wi-Fi worked well when not raining. Sites are paved and include picnic table. We had originally planned to stay one week and stayed two. We paid the Tri-county resident rate; rate for non-residents would have been $40 nightly. No weekly or monthly rates. Did not check out laundry or restrooms or showers, although they were convenient to our site. Staff very friendly and helpful. A beautiful, peaceful oasis in otherwise bustling Pembroke Pines. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.

After our 3rd stay, this is still our favorite park. There is a pool in the park, but it is not in the camping area. There is also tennis, golf, bike rentals, water skiing, tubing, water slides, and many other activities. Our dog enjoyed seeing all the frogs and lizards, and other critters she has never seen before. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is that they don't have Cable TV. We really enjoyed watching the Chinese Kung Fu movie that was dubbed in French. It was a hoot! We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here only one night but were required to pay for two. We were teaching in the area and found we could stay on-site where we taught, so the extra night we paid for went unused. The park itself was nice. The sites were fairly level and long enough so we were able to keep the car attached when we parked. It looked like most people needed to unhook their toads to park. We arrived after hours, and security took us to our site. When arriving late, know that the gate to the entrance of the park is closed with a sign that says so. Once we made contact with security he had our name on a list, and we were escorted to the site. The interior roads were okay to navigate, but the park has a couple "islands" located in odd places when entering, and especially when leaving that we had to take care to navigate around. It looked like there were plenty of activities going on at the location as well as lots of room to walk the dogs. The electric (50 amp), sewer, and water hookups all functioned well. We camped at C.B. Smith Park in a Motorhome.
