Five Flags is a very clean well maintained park with a friendly inviting staff. I don't think I saw one piece of trash on the ground anywhere in the park. This place is uniquely decorated with old vehicles, flowers everywhere and mowed grass. That tells me they take pride in maintaining the park, especially since the place was FULL. Not one empty space. The sites are somewhat tightly spaced but not uncomfortably so. Many appear to have long term campers but they too were neat and decorated. Not one was junkie or cluttered. Interior roads are wide gravel but the sites have concrete pads and patios. WiFi is robust, even with a full park the speed was very good. Cable is analog but has most all the standard local and national channels. There is no pool, club house or other amenities. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed out stay at Five Flags. At one time it was a government operated site for FEMA trailers. The layout is very spacious--not what you'd expect from an operation that wants to maximize their space for getting in as many people as possible. If making a right turn on to Wilde Lake road, be aware of the crumbling curb. Once in the park, all roads are wide and easy to navigate. The staff and tenants were friendly. They have special events planned that foster community. There are all sorts of fun details that make it interesting, like two laundry rooms in street cars, an old pickup filled with fresh flowers, and a tree stump turned into a free library. The wifi at this park is fantastic. There were antennae everywhere you looked and the speed was great. There is strong support for the military. Restaurants are within walking distance. This was a very convenient place for a Pensacola visit. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed at Five Flags RV Park in route so did not unhook. This park has immaculately clean grounds with nice flowers everywhere and some different conveniences. Concrete sites with patios, picnic tables with umbrellas, good place for dog walking, nicely landscaped, a back door to a convenience store, even a fire truck!! Our stay was restful, quiet and we would definitely return. The owner was super helpful and a nice man. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Five Flags RV Park is easily accessed to Interstate-10, yet the highway hum is minimal. The park has numerous dining establishments within walking distance with groceries a short drive away. The park is clean and charming, the sites are roomy and level, and the host is friendly and accessible. We would definitely return if in the Pensacola area. Every other Saturday at the RV Park there is a gathering at 9 a.m. with free coffee and donuts. Rate is based on weekly stay. We rate it a ten even without rest rooms and showers, as we are self contained. Site parking easily accommodated two vehicles. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

The majority of rvs were permanent homes for families and single people. We were disappointed in the lot location, gravel roads and sites. When I called to book, I was told there were all cement pads. Not a pleasant experience. We will not go back. Nothing to do at the rv park. We had to rent a car and drive everywhere, usually 10 to 30 miles, sometimes more. They do honor military, flags everywhere. That was a beautiful site to see every day. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Park was very clean, pet friendly, laid out efficiently for set up and exit, easy to park the tow vehicle. Lots of full timers, as well as seasonal snow birds and some short timers. Friendly community. Park was very well maintained. Roads are gravel, residents respect the speed limit. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It's convenient to I-10 (exit 7), easy to enjoy Pensacola from this location. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were lucky and got site #19 the beach site and by far the nicest in the park. Nice sand area, palm trees, hammock, chairs, concrete and deck area up to the side of your RV which helps keep it clean. Would be a great site for people with kids who like to play in the sand. The other sites weren't as nice although there appears to be a fresh batch of gravel on all the sites. The fenced dog area was huge and great for walking our dogs but it might not be as nice if there was recent rain as it appears to be drainage area. We were right next to a wifi tower and it was strong our entire stay over Thanksgiving weekend when the park was almost full. Most rigs appeared to be there full-time. Laundry room in the trolleys was a cute idea but they had a lot of junk in them. Staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Five Flags RV Park, owner at Five Flags RV Park responded to this review

Hi, thanks for your review. We are glad that you had an enjoyable time in our park. Site 19 is great! It's brand new, as are most of the other sites. You are correct, the dog park is located in the low part of the park. When it's wet, you've still got 12 acres to walk your pets and we provide dog bags at lots of areas throughout the park.

I'm sorry you saw the items in the trolley as junk. We have a lot of fun antiques in there and were trying to provide decoration like you see at Cracker Barrel. I'll definitely re assess. We also have our morning coffee pot in there as well, but everything is tucked out of the way. If you'd like to see photos of it, please just visit our Facebook page.

We hope that on your next stay you'll be able to bump your review stars a bit higher. We always strive for 10!

I have to start out by saying my site was a "10". My husband and I lucked out after a long day of driving and got the first "beach" site which was one of the nicest sites we have had in an rv park. We had a pull through gravel site with out own little beach, a hammock, picnic table, beach chairs, palm trees, sand and more.

The manager at the park was very nice and the park is within easy access to I-10. The park has access doors to a convenience store and to a BBQ restaurant. It is also within walking distance to other restaurants.

The roads are gravel and there is no grass between sites which made it hard for my old dog. There is a big dog run though for dogs who can still run. There is no clubhouse, bathrooms, or pool. The park is filled with mostly full timers, but the sites are in good shape. I thought the price was a bit high, but if I could have the same site again I would return. We camped at Five Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.

Five Flags RV Park, owner at Five Flags RV Park responded to this review

Hi Ms. Young, thanks for the review!! We appreciate you staying with us and we also appreciate the time you took to offer us feed back. You stayed in site 19 which is one of our theme sites. It looks like an awesome beach with sand, a hammock, beach chairs and even a pier!! It is a great pull through. You mentioned that we didn't have any grass for your old pup. I'd like to offer a slight correction. We have 12 acres of grass and trees which are interlaced with 80 RV sites. Those sites are concrete and the corner of site 19 has been landscaped with sand. The rest of the park is grass, grass, grass (except under a couple of the live oaks. Grass and live oaks don't get along). Our park is brand new so you likely saw our equipment and gear around making the park even more beautiful than it was yesterday. We try very hard to constantly update the park so it's not the same for any visit.

One more quick note, our rates are just $36.00 a night. We offer discounts for many things (military, good sam, etc). Our rates are some of the cheapest in the area with the exception of the military base park.

Our park does have some long term guests as well as many, many overnighters and guests that stay a week or more. We have a great balance at the park.

Again, thanks for staying at our park and thanks for being part of our life. The next time you're here, we're happy to help you to another site that has tons and tons of grass. We aim to be the best park in Pensacola and hope that our excellent service translates to extra value.

Regards,

Nik and the Five Flags Team!!!!!

Five Flags RV Park, owner at Five Flags RV Park responded to this review

Hi! Thanks for your review. We're sorry you had a less than happy time at our park. You are right that we don't have a restroom facility (it states it clearly on our website and in all park material), but we do however have a convenience store a few feet from our pedestrian gate. Each park guest receives a map that displays the store location. I'm also sorry that the great BBQ smell was an annoyance. Many guests love the smell of the fresh BBQ. I live there and it always makes me hungry :-). Please know that you're always welcome at our park and if you'd like a spot away from the BBQ joint, we'll happily work with you to provide you with a great site. Our goal is to be the best RV park in Pensacola and we can't do that without honest reviews. Thanks so much for giving yours.
