We have stayed at this park before & loved it. It is clean & quiet. The sites are level & the hook ups good. The park was full & we had no problem with the power. The staff is accommodating. We had reservations but needed to change them twice & then add a day because our motor home broke down & we were delayed with repairs. They made room for us. Lots of grocery stores near by & restaurants, fast food & chains as well as independent. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay a this campground with a pull through site and full hook up. The staff was helpful, friendly, & courteous and the sites were kept clean. The campground offered cable TV, Wi-Fi, and picnic table along with being a dog friendly park. We visited the WHITE SAND BEACHES of the Pensacola coast. We were surprised that Pensacola offered various DOG BEACHES during day for our fur friend to enjoy. Of course the rules applied of on leash and clean up after applied. We were close by the Pensacola Naval Air Station Museum and FT Pickens. We were in luck while staying, the Blue Angels put on a demonstration (Training Exercise) at Naval Air Base. Spectacular! We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a lovely park, lovingly maintained. Sites are a bit close, but there is significant green space between clusters of sites, and a pond which you may walk half way around. All sites had a bricked patio area. Ask for a site in the older section for a bit more room. There are shaded and full sun sites. Utilities were fine. Interior road was a bit rough, but short. There's about a mile of narrower residential paved road to reach the park, so don't panic when you seem to have left the commercial area. We were so impressed we talked about considering this park as our winter home. Be aware that they are very busy, and make reservations well in advance. We arrived on a Friday and the owner told us he had already turned away three people for lack of sites. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a city, and there is a decided rush hour. Traffic can make a 12 mile journey into a trek of over half an hour, even if you're not going into the city center.

We stayed just one night. The campground is convenient to I-10, but far enough away that you don't hear traffic noice. Our gravel site was level, and the campground is easy to negotiate in our big rig. The utilities were toward the back of our pull through site, but they worked well. Cable was good. The wifi was hit and miss. Staff is very friendly. There are some long term residents, but their sites are neat and orderly. I would stay again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Easy access. Good-sized, level sites. We have a 40' 5th wheel and had no difficulty with our back-in. Pull-through are available as well. Incredibly nice and helpful management. We arrived late, after dark, and a portable clip-on work light was attached to the power post for our convenience. Very thoughtful. Laundry room was spotless with nice, working equipment. No pool, but that didn't bother us. Lots of restaurants in the area and about a 30 minute drive to the naval museum. As one post said, convenient to I-10, but without the noise. This is a lovely, peaceful park that is clearly well-maintained. We look forward to coming back. Oh - one tip: this is not the first campground coming in off Wilde Lake. Try not to make the same mistake we did of turning in there, realizing it wasn't where we were supposed to be and then having to maneuver a big rig through the tiny parking lot of the hotel next door. Yikes. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We only stayed one night while traveling through Pensacola. Arrived a little late but the man in the office was very nice. Check in was easy, he escorted us to our site and waited to be sure everything was satisfactory. Interior roads and sites are all well graveled. Our site was level and utilities worked well. Park is very clean and well kept. Each site has a picnic table on a concrete slab covered with pavers. Plenty of grass space between sites. Restrooms were clean. Park is in a good location for exploring Pensacola. We would camp here again if in the area. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very convenient to I-10 but feels totally isolated from that traffic and noise. Well maintained and easy to maneuver. Excellent customer service. We experienced electrical problems and the owners immediately identified the issue and replaced the breaker and plug in our post. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had planned to stay 2 nights to spend some time visiting Pensacola, but we had to adjust our plans due to Hurricane Irma. We have been to Pensacola before and visited the Aviation Museum which is awesome.

I spent two nights here, because I was evacuated during Irma. My evacuation turned into a vacation at this wonderful resort. I had my dog with me, she made a friend, and enjoyed playing in the fenced dog parks. The park is family owned, and run, and in the 15 years I was fulltiming I have never stayed anywhere nicer. I can't imagine anyone wouldn't enjoy staying here, especially with a dog because it's so dog friendly with many places to walk as well and the off leash runs. I will tell all my friends to stay here heading in and out of Florida. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We called ahead and they gave us directions and its just off I 10 on Wilde Lake. Easy into and out to main hwy's. Very good roads and level parking slots. Plenty of room for tow. We did not use anything but the parking space. Our tow vehicle broke down and they showed us where we could park it for the night and very easily hook up the next morning to leave. The owners were very nice and helpful during this time. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 3 nights. The park was very clean and had quite a few seasonal/permanent residents who kept their sites very neat and tidy. It was very convenient to Pensacola Beach and Fort Pickens where if you are there during the Blue Angels practice do not miss it. The site was a pull through and level. We would stay here again. Family operation. Very nice folks. Very nice grounds and camp sites. Well maintained. Quiet. Large beautiful oak trees. Dog runs. Super clean restrooms and showers. Easy on/off I-10 but far enough away that there is no freeway noise. Good access to local attractions and bases. Love the place. Oh yeah, a nice catch/release pond. Kids must be supervised by an adult. Open sites have great satellite TV reception but cable is excellent. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed at Pensacola RV Park for three nights while traveling across I-10 East. The sites were gravel, level, and wide open, with great access for DirecTV. The interior roads are a mixture of gravel and macadam and easily traveled. While we were here, the park was very quiet. All dogs were on leashes, and the park was very well kept. The only thing that would make this an excellent RV park would be the addition of a pool. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park before. The staff is friendly. Our site had ample space & was level. Hook ups are well placed. The park is quiet. There are plenty of things to do in the area. Our site was satellite friendly & we had cable & wi fi as well. There is plenty of space to walk your dogs. There is a dog park but it seemed to be right behind someone's site so we didn't use it. We ate at Mc Guires by the water and would highly recommend it. There is a Cracker Barrel very close to the park as well. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

We highly recommend Mc Guires off I 110. They give you a tremendous amount of food. We had the Shepard's Pie & the Corned Beef Sandwich. We also had their Senate Bean soup. It is 18 cents for 6-8 oz as long as you order something else. There is a story behind it. They are a micro brewery & in addition to beer & ale they brew their own Root Beer. Wait till you see their decor.
