Clean and quiet. Pet friendly. Everyone picks up after their pet. Friendly neighbors and office help. Level but narrow sites. A lot of permanent and seasonal residence. Our water spigot did not work so we hooked into the neighbor. We stayed during race week and did experience the problem the previous reviewer had. We were able to make a reservation. Worst part was the train that blew it's whistle. It sounded so close that I thought it was going to come through our motorhome. We would stay again. Not a bad looking campground. We went through it when we were in the area, and checked it out for future use. I called back to make a reservation for a weekend in Oct (coincedently the same week as Biketoberfest), and could not get one. Not because they were full, but because they do not take reservations for that weekend. I spoke with the person about that, and she told me it was first come, first serve. Curiously, she could not quote a rate. After checking around and finding a campground elsewhere, I learned that what they were doing was giving their sites to the highest bidder. The closer to the weekend it gets, the higher their rates will be. That's why no reservations. I will certainly not think of this place when the off season comes and they're crying for business...
