We booked a 9 week stay in our travel trailer but after reading some of the not-so-nice reviews, we decided to " pre-camp" in order to decide for ourselves. We are very pleased with this park, and YES it is a like a fish camp but A very, very, very clean one!! If you're looking for luxury, there is a Hampton Inn right off the interstate. Seasoned "campers" go find this part very acceptable and nice. Also very quiet and peaceful, very helpful staff and very nice fellow campers. Family friendly "mom & pop" atmosphere, pet friendly too! We Loved the ease of access to the lake via boat ramp on site AND boat slips are available to rent and bypass loading/unloading every trip. Onsite Store has everything from live bait/tackle to ice cream! There is also a restaurant right on water but we didn't try it. Lots of space to fish from docks, clean fish or just enjoy the view. It's not hard to find at all as long as you can read! Very well marked. There is only one bathroom and one shower for each male and female, but most people have facilities in their campers or are staying in a cabin. The bathrooms look like they were never used... Laundry facility on-site, which is very nice. I can't think of anything negative to say we are looking very forward spending the summer here! We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Tent.

This park is more like a fish camp. It is not well signed so you have to guess where to go. The office is not convient for checkin. This is not a park for us to come back to. We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Motorhome.

This was our first time at the park, we would come again. The park was very clean, we had a pull thru site #5. No cable, but local TV was OK. If you like fishing, this park would be great. Its located on a big lake, Talquin. It appears they have several long terms residents. Some mobile homes, and RV's. They also had several cabins to rent. We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Motorhome.

we stayed here for an overnight because of proximity to I-10. To owners credit, when we called first, he did admit that the few sites they reserved for overnights were the most level of his sites. He also tried diligently to get us power; the designated site had been converted to 50 amp from 30 amp and the 30 amp outlet was disconnected. He could not find an adapter to convert his 50 amp to 30 amp; we are in a micro travel trailer.

Our impressions: 10 miles off I-10, sites were marginally level and we had to disconnect to level us, front to back; The bath house was atrocious - only one male toilet and shower stall and only one female. The bath rooms should have been repainted at least 10 years ago; the walls and floor were stained and pealing paint - NOT CLEAN! This is a marina, but the baths were not clean enough to clean fish or cut bait, certainly not for human use, IMHV. We would not stay here again. We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Travel Trailer.

This place is just OK. STOP before the office to register. There is no room to turn if you drive to the office. Roads are dirt/sand. Sites are dirt/sand/gravel/grass. Mostly this seems to be a place for fisherman. Adequate room for big rigs. Friendly people. Restaurant on lake front is only a one block walk. (We didn't try it.) We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Motorhome.

Beautiful campground. There is a pier for boat large and small boats. Fishing off the pier is great. Areas around the pier, camp store are paved. Some of the areas to the camp sites have sandy road not good for some vehicles. Permanent site up in back, looks old and run down. 2 bedroom trailers for rent and a house for rent available. Bass tournament are held here. Takes over an hour from Tallahassee to here. Would love to stay here but can't afford 420/per month rent plus electric, internet and TV. We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Motorhome.
