We stayed three days to get sun shades put on our RV. The first day there the 30 amp service did not work properly. It kept flipping and no maintenance people available to change. We had two grounds people come to check it out, first one said it was OK, giving out proper amps. After flipping again another person came and found out the 30 amp needed to be replaced and had to wait till Monday to get a new one put in, or we could have moved (this was after we had everything set up). Luckily we had a 50 to 30 amp adapter that worked. One observation is that all sites by us were not long enough to park your vehicle in with your RV, had to park partly on road. Other than that we were satisfied with our stay there. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Extraordinary attention to detail. Pleasant staff, none of the harried, impersonal service experienced at many RV parks. Our go to if anywhere near Tampa, always when visiting our kids & grandkids. Super sites, cool pool & pleasant pub. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a Class C. All sites are back-in. campground provides ample separate parking for towed trailer. Pool is large, clean and covered. Minimal breakfast and lunch is provided in the cost of the site. Trolley or golf cart is provided as transportation to meals which are in rv sales are. Awesome new shaded and fenced agility park for dogs. Would stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a 5-day free stay and once again, this park is great. Grass between all sites that is well kept. We were lucky to have a site right next to the dog park which gave us extra space on the passenger side. The roads are very well kept. Walking all around the camp is a good 2-3 mile walk and is pleasant. Directly across the street from the Lazy Days RV sales area. Easily walkable to look at all the RVs. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A 2 day stay was extended 19 days due to slipping on the hill behind our site. I ended up with a broken ankle and 2 plates with 2 screws in my ankle. The hill was covered with a layer of slippery leaves. Other guests while we were there also told us how they had slipped or fallen behind their hill sites. Fortunately, no one else was injured. Filled out an incident report with security. We had asked 5 times for a copy but was informed that the investigation was not complete and that was on May 9th. Management never checked with us and we did not anticipate their lack of concern or the additional costs with our stay. Safety is not a concern for this resort nor customer service. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camped here before and after getting service at Lazy Days. Staff is friendly. Grounds are clean. Exit 10 restaurant (on site) had good food and happy hour. The resort allowed us to use their facilities when our 5th wheel was getting serviced, which was a big help. RV park is right off the highway and you will hear road noise. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is not what I thought as a resort. Can be very hard to back in a long rig because of the parking. Short sites and you have to park your car in front of your rig. That makes getting in and out very hard. My lot had a tree close to the site making it even harder. Power was good. Sites not all that level. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights in the beginning of March in a 45' site. This is prime season with a rate of $69.99 plus 12% tax for a nightly rate of $78.39. We stayed again for 3 nights at the end of March (also a 45' site). The rate was $53.99 plus tax for a nightly rate of $60.47. We tried to get a site for a few nights in late February but they were booked. Plan ahead if you want to stay during peak periods. The reservation system works well and emails a confirmation promptly. It requests credit card info but does not collect any funds. One quirk is that the reservation doesn't show the cost which I thought was odd. Easy access from the 4 freeway. Large staging area with long pull-through diagonal sites. It's perfect for arrivals and departures to unhook or hook up your toad. Check-in was friendly and efficient. We were 45 minutes early on our first visit and they were very gracious to put us into a site immediately - no drama. Our site was level and exactly 45' long. We parked our toad sideways in front of our rig which is what everyone must do. You may need to ask a neighbor to move their vehicle to get into or out of your site. Everyone is friendly. We saw no issues. All hook-ups worked perfectly. Open sky for DirecTV signal. Good Verizon cell and Mifi. No recycling that I could see. Trash is picked up at your site. The Lazydays property including dealership is HUGE. You can rent a golf cart or bicycle or there is a trolley. If walking, stay on pedestrian walkways when possible. The DH enjoyed the spa a few times. My only issue is small pieces of trash in our site. We would be happy to stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You are provided with meal tickets for breakfast and lunch at the dealership cafeteria. Pay attention to the cafeteria hours. They close right on time and are closed on Sundays. The food isn't anything special but it's free and it's fun to walk through the lot and see the new RV's. Bring money in case you want more at the cafeteria than is covered by your meal ticket.

Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City Historic District is a must - wonderful old building/architecture, excellent food and nice atmosphere including live music. Attend a Tampa Bay Rays game. It's the last MLB dome stadium remaining. CG is close to Camping World, Tampa RV and General RV.

Park is congested. RV'ers are parked about <=10 ft apart side by side and less than that back to back. The park has a litter problem. The grass has gone to weeds and needs cutting. We have stayed here before in 2015 and we believe the park's cleanliness and upkeep have gone downhill since then. It needs to be upgraded. The people at the park are very friendly and helpful. A good location to stay for Tampa area. Easy on/off I4 and I75 with 2 truck stops next door. Spaces are all back in and asphalt. Some of the spaces are not all that level anymore & some back up to a berm causing a large motorhome to back into or over a grassy area. Parking is in front of the space, so sometimes the street is crowded. For large RVs, recommend you view your assigned site first before moving from the registration area. There is trolley or golf cart service everyday to the Lazy Days showroom, store, & Front Porch restaurant. Very nice restaurant, Exit 10, on site with good food, drinks, etc. Security onsite at night. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We were very disappointed in this park, I will say that it has an awesome pool. But the the sites are on top of each other, barely enough room to put your awning out. The "free food" stunk. Only one selection and we didn't like any food offered, and we are not that fussy. The service in the restaurant, which we gave it 2 tries, Stunk, the food cold, did I mention the service stunk. People were rude, rude, the shuttle driver was awesome. At least when we left early they refunded our money. I would Never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone. We just completed a 3-night stay as part of a Winnebago club rally held at Lazydays RV Resort. This is a large resort with good amenities. There is a heated swimming pool - very large and not at all crowded; a well-maintained tennis court; a restaurant; and rally center within the campground. The sites are all paved and pretty much level with many trees for natural shading/beauty. That said, the sites are quite close together and there is a bit of a parking lot feel to the place. We had daily breakfast and lunch included in our stay (not sure if this is always the case) - the restaurant is at the sales center (shuttle available) and the food is very good. We stayed here before while getting our RV serviced and enjoyed it then as well. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.
