This was our first visit to Three Rivers and it did not disappoint. The drive in was on paved roads through beautiful pine forests. The roads inside the campground were dirt and gravel and unfortunately suffered from all the rain we've been having, but we had no trouble negotiating them. Our site did slope a little to the right side, but we easily leveled our rig. We were able to get a decent satellite signal from our site, but that might not have been the case for other sites. The campground hosts were great...very friendly and helpful and they kept this little park in pristine condition! There is a boat launch dedicated to registered campers only and stakes driven into the bank along the lake to tie your boat to. I really wish we could have taken a boat! Several good hiking and biking trails and fishing from the pier on the lake. There are Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General stores in Sneads if you forget something. We saw lots of deer, raccoons, armadillos, birds and birds of prey. Oh and BTW, NO SWIMMING because Lake Seminole has LOTS of alligators. If you're looking for lots of entertainment in the surrounding area, you probably would not like this park as there's not a lot to do in nearby Sneads and Chattahoochee. If you want a quiet, serene place to camp, you can't do better than Three Rivers. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Driving into the park, through some really beautiful forest on a wide, grass lined, smooth asphalt road, I was impressed with this pretty park. Then I got to the campground and wanted to leave. The road through the campground was narrow consisting of sand, dirt, and pot holes. Many trees and branches encroaching in on the road makes maneuvering and getting into a site hairy. The site surface was made up of sand, dirt, and large rocks with none of them looking particularly level. Some sites would be tough to impossible to get a large rig parked in. If you have a big rig, or even anything larger than 30' and value your paint, I'd avoid this campground unless they do some major tree and brush trimming. It's a shame, because the park itself is very nice with many nice biking/hiking trails. Except for the campground, I could see really enjoying this park. We had decent AT&T data coverage with good Verizon signal. Due to heavy tree coverage, no satellite reception. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice graveled/dirt sites with attractive trees. Many have lake views. We had plenty of room to park a 40 foot motor home at our site with toad parked in front. The campgrounds are hilly and difficult to bike over to the pavilions. There are a few walking trails that are not as hilly. Our site (6) had a lot of poison ivy on the trees and ground. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice FL State Park along the Western Shores of Lake Seminole. Excellent price at $16.00 for 50A & Water. Dump station on site. Some Waterfront sites. 30 Sites total, most sites are gravel but there are two handicapped acessible sites that are concrete and available for anyone. Extra clean bathrooms and showers. Very friendly staff and hosts. Fish cleaning station on site. Fishing is not too good from the bank at the SP, however there are some good spots not too far away on the lake, or really good fishing down on the Appalachicola River. 10 or so miles of Nature Trails. Canoe Rentals on site. Firewood available on site. Tough to get satellite unless if you can move your unit to shoot through a hole in the canopy, which some do with success. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is my favorite campground. Staff is always nice, place is always clean, the latest upgrades really show, the fishing pier is being rebuilt, roads have been upgraded, site railings and new clotheslines, concrete added to some sites that did flood.

Go slow and watch for the deer as there are plenty of them. Gators in the lake are also plentiful, fishing is good and there is a fish cleaning sink available. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is only eight easy miles north of I-10. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon without reservations and was given a lake view pull through which was perfect because we only wanted to spend one night and not unhook our tow. The only complaint was how unlevel the site was, but that did not present a problem. The front gate greeter and campground hosts were both quite friendly and helpful. Restroom/Showers were spotless, with very good hot water. Saw lots of wildlife on our hike, campground itself was very quiet. Great place to stay. Beautiful park on Lake Seminole. Our site had a concrete pad but most do not. Wonderful hosts on site full of information about the park and area. Long entry road to the campground is great for biking and the park has many hiking/biking trails along with boat ramps for the lake. All services worked well. Rate reflects Florida resident senior pass rate. We would definitely return in the future. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice state park with easy access road for big rig (40'). Gravel in the actual site area. Fairly good drainage - it was pouring when we arrived. Saw some poison ivy around that I was surprised wasn't taken care of, but nice walking trails, pet friendly, and very quiet at night. Some early fishermen leaving and launching boats. Canoe rentals available. Price reflects senior discount. Not too far from and easy on and off I-10. We would come back for another stay if in the area. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

February 24, Sunday – Three Rivers State Park, Sneads, FL. This campground is off Interstate 10 about 10 miles north. There are 31 sites, and most have a lakeview, and many are lakefront. We were lucky to have a pull through 009 right on the lake with views of the dock and lake. Great site, and the campground is small but friendly with a very clean bathhouse. There is a boat dock, hiking and bike trails, canoe rentals. There are no full hookups, just water and electricity, and many sites are large enough for a large motorhome. We arrived after this campground had two days of rain, and the trails were to wet for hiking or biking, but the sites were fine. This campground is situated on two and a half miles of Lake Seminole shoreline, so it is great for fishing, canoeing, and motor boats. The lake is formed from the flint River and Chattahoochee rivers above the dam and the Apalachicola River below the dam. It is on the Florida birding trail, and it was nice and peaceful just to sit and listen to the birds, ducks, and owls right outside our site. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground for a fall vacation. Easy to find with well-marked signs off freeway. Good roads into the campground, but gravel near the water. We prefer more room to navigate out 38ft class-A, but we did not find it too difficult. Park has great waterfront pull throughs and a nice pier. Firewood is affordable and the host is very friendly. Close enough to Florida Caverns for an easy visit. We look forward to visiting again in coming years. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice campground, partial interior paved roads, two pull thru sites right on the water. Very nice wide sites. Nice for a stopping off point between Alabama and Georgia if you like to be off the beaten path. We camped at Three Rivers State Park in a Motorhome.
