Stayed here 19 nights while waiting for closing on house we sold. Park is right off I95 but yet don't really hear any noise. The row with the transient travelers has nice, grassy, cement slabs and is clean with some trees. The other side of the park is for year round live-ins and VERY old and not so nice. Quiet park, clean and nice folks. It is owned by and adjacent to the St. Augustine Flea Market (open Saturday/Sunday). The best site is A5. Has WiFI and cable. Although further from tourist sites it is half the price of all others - great value. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a great historic town with many wonderful restaurants. Try the local seafood restaurants instead of the chains. Everything you can think of is here in SA.

My wife called this park several months before our arrival to make a reservation and informed the lady that we had a 30' class A motorhome with no slides and was told that they had a spot for us. Before arriving we purchased a new motorhome an my wife called this park and said that our new motorhome was 35' with two slides and was informed that there was no problem. When we arrived the site they gave us was the first one at the entrance. It was only 25' deep and maybe 10' wide. When I informed the lady that we would not be able to fit and would be blocking her entrance she looked at me and said "Do you want it or not."Do yourself a favor and find another park in this area. There are better parks and more caring owners around St. Augustine. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older park with half of the sites as full timers. The transient pull through sites are plenty long but have concrete pads in very bad shape with cracks and heaved sections. The utilities are well laid out and accessible from most positions on the pad. The WiFi was excellent. Not a "destination" park, but very good for a stop-over or if all you want is a place to park with all the hook-ups. All in all, the park is a good value. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not that far from all the downtown activities and the beaches. Highly recommend taking the tour trolleys if it's your first visit. You can get on and off all day and the tour guides are very informative.

This is an older but well-managed and cared for RV Park. Some sites have concrete pads and others are gravel. Most seem reasonably level. Spaces are fairly close together, but not too bad. Restrooms are old, but serviceable and clean. Staff was very accommodating when my wife and I had to be hospitalized for a few days and we needed to extend our stay at the park. They managed to keep us on our site even though they were booked solid. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Passport America is almost useless, they only accept it a couple of months out of the year. They do have several other discount programs they accept as well. Pedestal utilities need repair, our water leaked out their backflow fitting. We had W/E pull-in site. The men's toilet/shower was pretty disgusting at least 2 days in a row. Used paper towels missed the garbage, shower matts looked to have been dragged through the dirt, and someone had a massive blowout in the toilet that went unattended to. And despite the large "No Smoking" sign on the door, I left needing a cigarette, the smell of cig smoke was overpowering. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bare bones stop, no amenities in the park. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice RV park with paved roads and wide, long concrete pull thru sites with FHU and grass also has grass back in sites with W&E. Sites arranged at angle for easy enter and exit. OK for big rigs. Some towering trees for some shade and lots of grass. Most sites can get satellite signals. Cable tv, good antenna TV, good open wi-fi, good cell signal. No pool, no rec room, no store or activities. Park clean and staff helpful. Half mile from I-95. Will stay there again. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, Quiet, Close to many things yet away from the heavy populated areas. St. Aug is a peaceful and safe area although it does have heavy traffic.

I have been coming here for years and am never unhappy. Not luxurious, but worth the stop. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate I have noted here is a combination of two weeks Passport America and two additional weeks at limited services. The park is easy access from 95. (One may find the close proximity of 95 to be bothersome with the highway noise--did not bother me much though I was right by the lake which is closest to the highway.) RaceTrac service station and mini mart is right next door. Sites were not quite level but not too bad. The pull through sites are on concrete, other sites are on grass with a small concrete patio. Utilities were easy to access. Wifi was iffy but my Verizon worked pretty well. The park wifi appeared to work best in early morning--likely due to less people using it; at those times it worked well. There are many full timers here but they were all quiet around me and the ones I could see kept their spots neat. Maintenance could have done a better job of cleaning up the debris from trees littered about. This park is right next to the flea market and there are vehicles frequently going in and out through the park to get to it, but the flea market is fun to go to --and there is a farmers market there as well--at least it was going part of the time while I was there. Basic park at a reasonable price for this area. If you want to see St. Augustine on a budget, this is about the best you can do. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a park that is fairly large and has nice pull through sites with a concrete pad, grassy area and picnic table. The units are close but not unreasonable and they are staggered so one does not look directly into the next unit. There is an area that is for permanent residents which we did not really observe. It could be problematic in heavy rain for some sites. The location is not far from Saint Augustine and the price is very reasonable. The WiFi worked okay. It does not have a lot of amenities but for an overnight stay or for visit for a few days - it is good. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Saint Augustine is a delightful city but expect to pay for parking when attempting to see anything - even the visitor's center. Very lovely.

This park is a typical Pass Port America Park. There are 40 plus sites for long term use, and several other sites for daily use. We are in a long term site for 2 weeks. Our site has cable, and is a back in with full hook ups. Available 30 AMP service only with a small cement patio. The laundry area has old washers for $1.75 and dryers for $.25 for 6 minutes. There is a need for some upgrading through out. There is a flea market area on the north side of the park, that is open Saturdays and Sunday and owned by the park. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

The office staff was very efficient, having our check in information available during the lunch hour when they were closed. The WiFi was free and worked great. Sites were a bit close together, but this was just for a short stay so we didn't mind. This park is located seven minutes from downtown Historic St Augustine. Rate is Passport America. The water, 30A, and sewer worked fine, few trees so rooftop dish worked, Verizon cell phone and internet hot spot worked fine as did campground WiFi. We did lose power for a couple minutes one morning. The road was blacktop where we were but some were sand, site was tall grass with lots of small bugs due to rain. Grass site was solid even with lots of recent rain. Site was small but fifth wheel and truck fit OK. Neighbor's 2 cars were 5 feet away on utility side. Neighbor's trailer had obviously been there several years, those around us were all long term. Campground was kind of run down. All the other nearby campgrounds were twice the price. Not sure if we will return or pay more at another camp ground next time, we were gone most of the time so didn't spend much time there. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a great location about ¼ mile off I 95. It is about 7 miles from historic downtown ST. Augustine. The park is divided into two sections, one for transient Rver's, and the other for more permanent Rver's. Some of the permanent section is a little unsightly and detracts from the rest of the park. The transient section is very close sites on grass, gravel or broken cement. When we put out our awning it was about 3 feet from our neighbors RV. There is no privacy between sites other then the utility post. The park is attached to a flea market. After the flea market closes and the gate to the public is closed and many of the vendors leave thru the RV Park. All this being said it is a great value for location with a full hookup site plus cable TV. We would stay here again. The price reflects the Passport America rate. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Internal roads are gravel, sites are not very level. I needed a leveler. Facilities worked well (limited number of sewer/50 amp sites), site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park Wi-Fi worked very well, T-Mobile cell service was very poor. The park was quiet. We were in a limited hookup area (no sewer, 30 amp), I would recommend calling for a reservation as the park filled up early. Note: the office is closed from 10:30 a.m. -2:00 p.m. The entrance to the park is not well marked, take the flea market entrance between Hess and Burger King, then turn right. We would stay here again. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
