Kudos, hats off, and cheers to the lovely lady that was working the registration when we arrived on 23 May 2018 at ~2:00 ET. She definitely went above and beyond to assist us. Without too much detail to bore you as a reader: I called from Daytona and asked for a huge favor; as I requested, she stepped away from the counter to reach out to my husband while he was washing our rig so that he would get his phone so that I could get in touch with him. She did so out of the goodness of her heart and saved me several hours. I could not be more grateful! We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. All roads are narrow and gravel, but sites are large, and well spaced, so no problem getting around. Cable was not good, but I understand that they have since had it repaired. One downside... laundry facility and restrooms are at the far central end opposite the office and entry, near the RV storage area, and quite a walk from pretty much anywhere in the park. Take your track shoes. 11 miles to WalMart, Camping World across I-95, 2 miles away. St. Augustine historic district 6 miles. Parking is $10++ everywhere there. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Need a nice out of the way seafood restaurant? Hurricane Patty's is awesome! Just a few miles out of town. Seems thats where the locals go. On the water, many beers on tap, excellent food! Ripleys has a few parking spots reserved for Veterans, get there early to get one!

We stayed for 10 nights. Very quiet and shady. Our site #11 was near the county road and we heard a small amount of road noise, but nothing unbearable. Our water pressure was low, but we didn't complain. We simply switched to our water pump for showers and switched back to park water for all else. Very convenient to St Augustine attractions, beaches and shopping. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to World Golf Hall of Fame, beaches, shopping. If you miss the 'quick' left after exiting I-95, simply proceed a quarter mile north on Fl-16 and turn left on Tom's Road.

Pull-through sites were big enough for 40 ft coach with a tow, though we did detach so we could get out and about in the area. The sites are spacious with gravel surface. Nice dog park, but we didn't use it. Interior roads are easy to navigate. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to St. Augustine, World of Golf, and Washington Oaks State Park and Gardens. It rained or we would have kayaked on Pellicer Creek. We enjoyed seeing Washington Oaks State Park with its lovely gardens and pleasant walking trail, part of which abuts the Matanzas River.

Overall Rating:

We live in Florida and typically stay in the St. Augustine area our last night before returning home. So, we've sampled all of the parks in this area and Stagecoach is our park of choice. We like the fact that most of the sites are pull-through, there are many good restaurants close by, and they have very good cable TV. The sites are well spaced and there is ample room to walk your pets as well as a 2 dog parks, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The park is clean and well run. One thing to be aware of is that if your are traveling south on I-95, when you exit for county road 208 you will make a right at the end of the exit ramp and then an immediate left. If you're arriving in rush hour, it can take a while for traffic to clear. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed five or six times within the last fours months and our experience has always been pleasant. It is a very well maintained facility, and the tv cable is as good as it gets. I would give it a whole ten if the sites were paved, although the gravel is fine. Accessed very conveniently from I-95 and close to outlet shopping and a few chain restaurants. Tips for other Campers:

The trip to Daytona Beach along Old Dixie Highway had lovely tree canopies and beautiful houses in some sections. The Castillo de San Marcos was a must see. Went to the Dog Rose and Ancient City Breweries which were nice to visit.

We stop here on the way home every year for at least a week. The main road into the campground is paved, but the rest are gravel. The utilities were fine and the WiFi worked great. The Campground is about 1.5 miles from I-95, so almost no road noise. Had an issue with the electric this year, but had someone at our site almost right away and it was fixed in a flash. The bath house/laundry room are in the rear of the campground, 5 washers & 5 dryers. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
