Not an overnight stop - a three month commitment is required for Jan,Feb,Mar. We only got in due to a seasonal cancellation. Not really for those with children - very quiet, most if not all retired folks. Very well maintained in the middle of the golf course. TV reception without a dish is virtually nil. We camped at Shady Brook Golf & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 3/24 to 4/7/07. We found the sites to be very large and spacious. Most of those here are seasonals and stay here for the golf. We found the staff and the other RVers to be especially friendly. The golf course is being improved and while it is not the best course we have played it is far from the worse. At $22 including the cart for 18 holes it is a good deal. We will definitely be coming back. The 8 rating is due to no WI-FI nor fire rings. We camped at Shady Brook Golf & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for one week for the first time. Very pretty clean setting. Golf is the main activity and they have a small restaurant. There is no WiFi, wish there was. The weekly price was $185, which was a bit pricey for what you get. However, I appreciated the clean site and scenic area. We camped at Shady Brook Golf & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an RV Park next to a golf course. Both the golf and the RV park have seen better days. We have stayed here a month or more for several years until this year. It is no longer a friendly feeling when we go into the office or the pro shop. The newer hosts (about two years)are very rude and make up rules as they go that the owners know nothing about. If you want your lot mowed, or raked, you do it yourself. There are some very shady sites but be careful when the wind blows. A huge limb fell on neighbors site. If you want sun, they offer that also. Several park models started coming a few years ago but there is still plenty of room for RVs. The golf course needs a lot more grass but you do have your share of water holes and a couple of alligators. They do not have a lot of play on the course except for the RVers. There are no cement pads but there are picnic tables and plenty of fire ants to go around. We camped at Shady Brook Golf & RV in a Motorhome.

I agree with the other review. The whole place seems unhappy and the office staff, in my opinion, are what changed the once nice campground into a place of almost last resort. The golf course needs lots of work but it was not hard to get a tee time since there is not a lot of outside play. It is not comfortable to come into the restaurant any longer. This used to be one of my definite stops when in Florida but it is not fun any longer. The activities are mostly non-existent and hardly anyone came to the one they had while we were there. It was put on by the office staff and they do not make people feel welcome. I think that the owner does still care but she is not around a whole lot so probably does not know the general feeling about her staff. We camped at Shady Brook Golf & RV in a Motorhome.
