This is the first review I have written. I am doing this because you should avoid this park. Just drive on by and find one down the road. Could not level MH on first site, saw several MH's with there tires of the ground. Could level on second site, but had to park car beside the door as we were right on a road and the garbage dump. Stayed here as an overnight stop. Price includes Good Sam discount. Expensive for what it is. Sites very close together. Ours was not quite level. Only one toilet/sink/shower per sex! Not ventilated or very clean. We use the park showers and their condition is important to us. Wifi very iffy. Will avoid this park in the future if possible. Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Beautiful trees! WiFi was the fastest I've ever seen. Office staff was wonderful. Don't follow the GPS into the cemetery, but watch for the sign instead. The park itself is across the street. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $45.00
Too pricy for what you get. Gravel roads, level sites. Friendly staff. Agree with previous review. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $40.00
This is an OK park, nothing special. There are few choices in the area. Overpriced at $40 but again no other choices. The pull through sites are level. Good Cable and WIFI. Gravel roads and sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of permanent people. Would stay again for an overnight. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $40.00
We camped here overnight and enjoyed our stay. The pull-through site was gravel and only a little slanted (one riser), with a cement patio and brand new picnic table (a few screws and wood scraps were still on the ground, but my kids helped pick them up.) The kids were welcome, but there are no amenities for them. No extra charge for more than two campers and price included tax, so that was nice. We got a Good Sam discount, but I think they give it to anyone. Bathrooms are a single toilet, sink, shower, ceiling fan and electric heater with lockable door, one for each sex. Overall, it was a nice, clean, quiet campground and the hosts and other campers we met were friendly. Internet worked well for us, and we don't have a TV, so I can't comment on the cable. We would stay here again. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $40.00
We stayed here two nights, and were very satisfied. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but we felt safe, all hookups were in good shape (and not hidden by shrubbery),and we found it easy in, easy out. Temporary sites are narrow, but were level and plenty long enough for our 40' plus car. Lots of workers living here, but everyone was friendly and sites were reasonably neat and clean. We will stay here again. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $40.00
Weird entry/exit, the roads are reversed enter to the left, exit to the right. Site was long, but very narrow. Interior roads also narrow. Good shade on some sites. Pricey for the amenities. Hook ups are overgrown with decorative plantings, so you have to hunt for the water and cable. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $30.00
Just stopped overnight....beautiful big old oak trees in the park. Convenient to the interstate. We would stay again. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $40.00
Very nice people. Spaces are close together. Most of the people live there full time. If you have satellite be sure to ask for an open spot other wise to many trees. OK for a one night stay We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $40.00
Snowy cable TV and the site was not cared for. Standing puddles. Small sites. Good for overnight. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $40.00
Expensive for what you get. This was an overnight for us so expectations are less. We were in a dark dingy canopy covered area with large Oaks. No chance for satellite. Many trailers and motorhomes were old broken and even moss covered. We would not stay here again. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is our second visit; we stayed here to visit with friends that live near by. Nice park with huge oak trees, hence the name Big Oak. Forget satellite, the cable is pretty good. There are a number of pull-through sites, B4-10, are the best. Road and sites are gavel, there are concrete pads with picnic tables. Our arrival was horrible, pouring rain, nothing seemed to go right, did not have our reservation, hooked up electric and no power. Employees took everything in stride with efficiency, humor and patience. The power was fixed immediately, no other problems encountered. Sites are a little tight, but staggered so you have room for slides and awnings. Visitors are fine, dog friendly and the office is open until 7pm. Rate includes Good Sam discount. Would stay here again. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $42.00
Close to Tallahassee attractions, with lots of restaurants and major chains within short distance. Park itself is in need of a facelift, but has good structure. Good for overnight stay. Staff friendly and helpful. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $38.00
This is an older part, but is clean. Wi-Fi was very good for us. We had a 50 amp back in. Lots of trees. TV only has about 15 stations. Gravel roads and sites. Owner was very nice and helpful. I believe there are a lot of snowbirds here. It is fairly close to town. Shopping and dinning is very close. Rate reflects the Good Sam price. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
