A nice little county park on the west side of Tallahassee. We stopped here en route to the Emerald Coast beaches, taking FL 20 and avoiding I-10. It's a small campground, one loop, and most campers appear to be here to enjoy the boat access to Lake Talquin. There is no sewer, though it appears to have been here in the past. The electric is also dated, and a breaker blew upstream from our site when we arrived. The breaker box was only 20 feet away, and unlocked. It didn't appear to have been the first time that this has happened. I reset the breaker and we didn't have any further issues.

The campground can be reserved online, but if you're just passing through there is a convenient envelope system. Just remember to take it back to the drop box after you fill it out or the camp host will come knocking with his Great Dane in the morning. Lovely dog.

Check out was a comfortable 4:00 pm. Entering and exiting the park is a bit of a challenge with our 30' trailer, the turns were very tight. You can't actually make the turn from the dump station out of the park, you'll have to circle the loop again. We camped at Coe Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Spent one night. Level lots/pads. 20 sites, but had no trouble getting choice of site. Right on water's edge. Saw an Alligator! Quiet. Well shaded. Boat ramp. Would stay here anytime! We camped at Coe Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Small county park about 10-15 min from Tallahassee. Great Wi-Fi! Camp hosts live in a house on the grounds. Bathhouse looks bad on outside, but was fine and clean on inside. Boat noise can be a little loud in morning, but was very peaceful otherwise. Very pretty lake and nice dock accessible from campground. Great place for morning yoga or just coffee. Only negative was that quite a few people drive through and seem to use the boathouse. Not sure if these are non-camping fisherman or locals. Was a little unsettling for a solo camper. We camped at Coe Landing in a Travel Trailer.

This is a lovely little campground in a nature setting on Lake Talquin. There are a few sites that will accommodate big rigs but they are a little tricky getting in to. The camp host, Rusty was very helpful giving advice on the best way to approach it. He also gave us some good information for our site seeing day. We were in sites 20 and 2. They had water and electric (30 amp) and wifi. No cable or sewer, but they did have a dump station. That being said, not sure we could have maneuvered around to use the dump. If you are looking for a one night stop this campground is quite a away off the main Hwy. We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.

We stayed three nights at a very quiet and picturesque park on the lake. Slip #9 was small for a 30' 5th Wheel; however, having a private deck on the water made the stay enjoyable. Staff was helpful locating a Mobile RV Company to replace a converter that went out on the trip. RV Mobile Repair, Tallahassee, FL, came out and made the repair the following morning. We will stop again when passing through North Florida! We camped at Coe Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

This dimunitive county park is about 8 miles outside Tallahassee. Sites are either pull-through or back-in. Large rigs should make sure they get large enough sites; our site drops down near the water and a climb back out, which would be very tight for a large rig. Sites include water and electric and there's a convenient dump station on the way out of the park. The county just implemented an improved web site for making reservations that is far better than the emails back and forth to the host. The price reflects taxes and fees that add $3 to each night. The free wi-fi worked well, as did our Verizon card and over-the-air TV. The park is adjacent to a boat launch on Talquin Reservoir and the campground welcomes boaters to stay there for boating recreation. This is the second time we've stayed there and appreciate the peace and quiet of the area. We'd stay again. We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.

We like the 16 mile Tallahassee-St. Marks Rail Trail, which for us is the draw of this campground.

This is a nice little park right by the lake. It cost $27 including tax for electric & water. A big overpriced, I thought, but not bad. The sites are pretty long, but the road is tight. Not sure I would want to bring a big rig in here. Only overnighted and didn't check out restroom/shower. The park in general was clean, but the garbage pail by the dump station was overflowing and covered with flies! Yuck! That was my only complaint, though. No wi-fi, and only two bars on Verizon. I would probably check out somewhere else if I'm in the area again, but would also be ok with staying again. We camped at Coe Landing in a Truck Camper.

The camp host or manager met us upon arrival to help us into a site. This is a very small county campground, with lots of trees and a narrow loop. At the host's suggestion, I backed up the rig around a curve and then backed into the first campsite as you enter from the road. The site was huge, with a separate gravel "patio" with picnic table and fire ring (I think). We were here to visit the state capitol building, so we only spent evenings in the campground. Some sites are right on the water, but our 40' rig was too large. The second night we stayed, we had the campground all to ourselves, but both nights it was very quiet. We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.

Great small county park with boat ramp and docks on Talquin Lake. Water & electric on shady, graveled sites with many large trees. Several pull through sites on bank above lake but poor views due to brush growth.

Good spot for a visit to the State Capital. We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.

This is a small municipal park right on a really large lake (boat ramp next to campground) with excellent bass fishing. All of the sites were paved and several were right along the lake. Many had excellent shade. Campground Wi-Fi worked well. We were the only occupants in the campground in mid-April. We would stay here again. We camped at Coe Landing in a Travel Trailer.

This very compact park is located a few miles west of Tallahassee, on the south side of Lake Talquin. It's operated by Leon County. During our stay, shortly after an ice storm shut down the entire Florida panhandle, we were the only ones at the park. The restrooms were old but clean and serviceable. The park is adjacent to a boat landing which is popular with anglers. The rate shown includes all taxes. Our site was beautiful, a pull-through right on Lake Talquin. The reservation process is informal, done via email with an email response from the attendant. Our Verizon card and phone worked well at this site, along with numerous over-the-air TV stations. We were interested in biking and bird watching while at this park and were not disappointed. The trailhead for the 15 mile Tallahassee-St. Marks State Trail is about 10 miles from the campground, and the national wildlife refuge at St. Marks was about 25 miles away; both activities were great experiences. There is a Costco in Tallahassee for those who are members. We'd stay here again when in the area. We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.

The campground is beautifully situated on a lake. Sites are gravel and rather spacious. Each site equipped with grill. The showers/restrooms are old and could use some refurbishment. But they were clean. Wi-Fi worked well. Park has lots of nice big trees which are full of Spanish moss. All in all a beautiful park with reasonable rates, hence the eight points I give this park. Maybe not so suitable for very big rigs, better check ahead. We camped at Coe Landing in a Truck Camper.

This is a gem... little campground run by the county and right on the lake. Has it's own fishing/boat dock and is adjacent to a free boat launch ramp. The sites are tucked in amongst mature trees. Gravel surfaces to park on. The pull-through spots are tight, we had a 30' motorhome, and it was OK, but might be tough in a 40' or more unit. Call ahead for a reservation, and ask for a waterfront spot. Bring your boat, or not. No sewer hookup, but if you're here for a long weekend, no problem, just dump on the way out. We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, secluded park with mature trees, on the lake. Would rate higher if it had sewer hookups (dump available). Level gravel sites with picnic table and fire pit. Adjoining boat ramp and park has its own boat dock and fishing pier. At the end of a dead end road, quiet, private. And, a bargain! We camped at Coe Landing in a Motorhome.
