The rate reflects Good Sams discount. This is a nice park, particularly for an overnight stop. The park is located less than half a mile south of I-10. The road ways inside the park are a little tight but we didn't have any issues with our 40' motorhome with toad connected. There are several pull through sites within the park that appear to be reserved primarily for over night guests. The sites are quite narrow but very good in length, all that's needed for an over night stop. Wi-fi was good even with the park full the night we were there. As previously noted there is a Publix just across the entry highway into the park. If satellite access is needed be aware that many of the sites would probably not work for that due to large tall trees to the southwest. We would certainly stop here again if in the area. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from hwy 10. Nothing to get excited about. Lots of permanent campers. Dirt roads inside. Grass sites but firm. Minimal highway noise. Has been taken over recently so hopefully it will improve. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice location off the I-10 but no issues with highway noise. Easy to get to downtown Tallahassee, plus a Publix & Wal-Mart close by. Sites were long drives throughs in excellent condition; level, easy access to services. You are close to your neighbour with a little area with a picnic table. Nestled in between tall pines, roads are wide & well maintained. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed at Tallahassee RV Park as a quick overnight stop along I-10. DIdn't even have to disconnect since we'd be on our way early the next morning! Surprisingly nice, clean and friendly staff! Although they were pretty full, they "made" a space by giving us the Managers spot (they recently sold their RV & hadn't replaced it yet -- our good luck!). Nice people, clean facilities. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Clean, quiet park. It was almost full of permanent residents. Only about 10 available pull thru sites. Call ahead and check for availability. The lady taking reservations was very rude when I entered the office. I tried to be quiet, but she completely ignored me. Fortunately, another staff member came in and checked me in. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet and close to shopping. The park is not well marked and is on the right side. GPS has is on the other side of the street. It is an older park, tight fit to get out. Call ahead, not many available overnight spaces.

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We were here in February, returned in September. They seem to have lost some gravel in the hurricane. Most of the sites are now just dirt and pulverized rock. They do appear to be doing some maintenance and were regularly raking the sites. The overnight sites appeared to be slightly more unlevel than our last trip, possibly because of the dirt work they've been doing. The good thing is that they are long enough so you can position your coach in the best place to get level. The connections are really close to the ground. Our surge protector and water filter were sitting on the ground. Management is very nice, and they seem to do a good job of keeping the park neat and minimizing riff-raff. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our second time staying here. We stayed here for two nights in a 40' fifth wheel. A couple of the turns within the park are sharp, but nothing we couldn't handle. The sites are close together, gravel and fairly level. The sites are plenty long enough. The owners are friendly. The park claims to be "pet friendly". There are a second set of rules for pets. All pretty much reasonable. I am a responsible dog owner and I found a couple of these rules to be rather extreme. I feel the price of $41/night (discounted) is on the high side for this park. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean and quite. Great stopover. We camped in a 43 foot fifth wheel. Had no problems at all with the turns. Minimal leveling required. Great dog walk. Will stay again. Yes, sites are narrow but was able to put out all 5 slides and awning with no problems. Only reason we disconnected was to go fuel and to go to Publix.. Easy off easy on I-10, Nice park, clean, level sites. All gravel, very little grass, low water pressure. Doesn't seem to be worth the $41 a night but I guess Florida campgrounds are mostly that rate. Cable was good but the more people who came in and hooked up deteriorated the signal. I would stay here again. We stayed 2 nights with Class A 36' MH towing a 26' car hauler trailer so needed a long site, most all sites would have accommodated. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

We travel in a 45' bus conversion, towing a vehicle. We reviewed the campground's website before calling. The website claimed that the campground could accomodate "big rigs," implied that the sites were paved, and displayed pictures of someone standing in front of Prevost conversion. We then called ahead and told the employee exactly what we needed to park in a pull through site. She assured us that the campground could accommodate.

This park is not "big rig" friendly. Entry and exit required very sharp turns. We stopped at the office where I observed the campground sites. They were gravel, and while many were quite long, few were level beyond 35-40'. We registered and then walked to our site. Access was dangerously close to trees and other obstacles. The exit was obstructed by tree limbs.

We decided to pass on this campground. We could not exit without entering the campground and unhooking the toad. Even then, we had to maneuver around trees, tree limbs, other RV units, and vehicles. Our exit was blocked by tree limbs, so we had to drive through a vacant site to reach the exit road.

Very misleading website, and dishonest or inexperienced employees regarding accommodations. Strongly recommend against this campground if travelling in a motorhome over 40', especially if towing. We will not be back! We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Access into the park not difficult. The exit traffic shares the one lane driveway. Some might consider turns to be tight, we camped in a 40 foot 5th wheel. Site is dirt/stone and would be muddy if it as raining. Sites are very close to each other, my septic access was located near my neighbors sitting area. Neighbors awning less than three feet from my RV. Park is located about a mile off interstate 10. Plenty of shade but my roof mounted Directv found satellites. They do provide cable hook up. Close access to Tallahassee downtown district. Would park here again if was visiting the area. Half the park are full timers. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice clean park. Roads paved and narrow, but big enough for big rigs. Sites are fairly large... I had room for a 35 foot travel trailer, tow vehicle and another car. Sites not paved... dirt and gravel... fairly level. I did have to jack up up one side to level the trailer.

Free WiFi and cable... WiFi is pretty decent.

I cannot advise on the facilities as we didn't use them... just passin, through and only stayed one night.

Word to the wise. Call ahead on holiday weekends.

Nice and quiet. Would not hesitate to stay again. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
