Our full hookup 50 amp site was spacious, level, and had a concrete patio and concrete parking pad for our vehicle. There was no cable tv, but many stations were available with our roof antenna. We had difficulty with the WiFi and mainly used our Verizon data package. Using our phones as a hotspot, we were able to stream Netflix with our Amazon fire stick. There is a large rec hall, pavillion, heated pool, laundry, and shuffleboard. There are activities and trips offered during the winter months. The staff was friendly and helpful. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are numerous bicycle trails within a 30-45 minute drive. We rode on three of them. If you need RV supplies or repair, Camping World and Lazy Days are close by. Tampa is a short distance as well.

We stayed for a weekend and are looking forward to coming back and staying longer. The park is under new management and they couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The pool is huge and clean (and heated). The other residents are super friendly. Really looking forward to making River Palm a regular stop. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here last year and did not plan to come back but we heard park was under new management so decided to give it a try. Last year management was rude, discourteous, snippy at best...they acted as if they really did not want RV'ers around. This year, new management was great! Friendly, receptive, helpful! When all winter permanent residents arrived management was replaced by the same unreceptive crew! Back to poor service. This is our last stay! Rigs over 35 ft. beware narrow roads. Water turned off constantly for pipe repairs. Not enough power...not getting 50 amps, no fix! Only good...nice lots...large,level, paved. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

Clean w/many park models but Nothing resort like about this park. Only amenities are the pool and laundry. Very narrow roads, rigs over 35 feet have a hard time negotiating. Unpaved pads where getting stuck is a major problem. No picnic tables, fire rings. The most unfriendly, un-cooperative management I have yet to meet in 2 years of full timing. Their fix for a complaint is to tell you to move! The positive parts...nice tenants and a good tenant organization that provides meals and entertainment on a regular basis. This park has potential with the right management and lots of improvement. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Camp Lemora is a very clean RV park with large lots offering some shade in spots. Hillsborough State Park and Dead River County Park are nearby with trail access to each. A very beautifully clean, heated swimming pool is available. Activities include golf (men and women), Bingo, various card games, dinners, breakfasts, etc. A Sunday non-denominational church service is held from November through April with cookies and coffee following the service. Camp Lemora is a great place to spend the winter. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

Privately owned, close to nature, far from town, no amenities like LP(that stopped in 06 and trucks not allowed in except for park models)...they okay pets, but keep changing minds about how many (only two allowed maybe, maybe not depends on owner's mood)...they keep waffling about everything, sheds, hookups, lots, you name it...electric on, off, in summer mostly off...no concrete pads to speak of so it floods a lot, mega-flooding. No wifi, store at front has 2-year-old cans of soup...just not my idea of customer care. Prices up, amenities down. Sad. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

Nice campground not too crowded during the winter rush. We were able to get last-minute reservations despite the late-February booking. The front half of the park appears to be permanent snow-birds; the back half for nightly and weekly travelers. The sites are very large, all grass with significant distance between neighboring sites. TV, even without cable, and cell reception were both excellent. There are lots of birds and plenty of opportunities to be up-close. It's close to Tampa (~30 minutes w/o traffic) and close to freeways but not so close that there's any noise. The only complaint was that access to the dumpsters was inconvenient. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Motorhome.

No concrete pads. Pray for no rain, as this park floods bad! Too many dirty trees. Very old time camping experience. Too far from shopping, doctors, etc. - in the middle of nowhere. Surrounding area seedy. Old park, mostly old park models which have not been kept up. Nice pool. We camped at River Palm RV Resort (formerly Camp Lemora) in a Fifth Wheel.
