45 Parks near Tice, Florida
Dec 2015 - $15.00
Senior rate for a five night stay. Site was a level, paved, back-in site with water and 50 amp electric. We had good satellite reception and good Verizon cell/MiFi reception. The park has a dump station. The site has a large covered picnic table. The park is well maintained. We would stay here again. - Dave51
Apr 2015 - $15.00
We spent 3 nights here in a travel trailer. The campground host was very friendly and the grounds were very well kept. The bathroom facilities were clean. We love staying here on the river side watching the boats go through the locks. It is quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife viewing. One of our favorite places. - Florida Bob
May 2014 - $12.00
This campground is located on the north side of the lock on the Caloosahatchi River. We live in Lehigh Acres Fl about 15 miles from our home. We love being on the River but cannot afford a home on the river. So we do the next best thing, We camp on the river. This campground is always clean and well taken care of. The restrooms and showers are always clean. Most of the sites are angled off the road for ease of access to back into the sites. This angle gives the sight a lot of privacy and an open view of the river. We have stayed in sight 23 and have also stayed on site 9. We have scheduled to go back at the end of September, October, and beginning of December. There are a few pull-throughs. The Camp Hosts are great and very helpful. They come by and check and see if you need anything. We highly recommend this campground. - Badmanrick
Apr 2016 - $17.00
We stayed here on the Passport America weekly rate of $120. This is south Florida at the end of the snowbird season. The rate is only good for a one week stay. We stayed here to be near North Trail RV in order to do an RV inspection for a client. Things got pushed back so we had to stay here two weeks. The park manager honored the PA rate for the second week! Awesome customer service!! This RV park is located at the back of the park in its own area. Dogs are allowed in the park area but not anywhere else. The rest of the place is park models. The sites are nice, rocks and shells with a big concrete patio. The rest is well-maintained grass. The park is nice. We will return if we have need to be in this area. - Howard Jaros
Feb 2016 - $72.00
This is about as good as it gets for RV resorts. Most, if not all, sites are owned by individuals. If you can rent from an owner, your cost would be about $40-50 a night. Through the resort, it is pricy (weekly rate $500). Sites are paved, back-in (with a few pull ins facing the lakes), nicely landscaped, and very wide and long. Electricity, water, and sewer were all in good condition. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Many owners and other residents volunteer to be gate greeters, opening the gates for new arrivals. We used our Verizon MiFi for internet. Cable TV available through the cable company. A nice book exchange is located in the laundry room. - DiplomatTraveler
Jan 2016 - $40.00
We chose Cypress Woods as it was very convenient to Northtrail RV center and we were shopping. That said, if we ever wanted to stay in the area again for any reason, Cypress Woods would be high on the list.
The park is very well kept, very well landscaped and the facilities are top notch. As it happens we knew people that own a lot there and we were included in a "burger bash" that took place while we were there. We found the people, almost all owners, very friendly, as was the staff.
As at least one other has already mentioned, it was difficult to reach anyone at the office to make and then confirm our reservation. At the time (November 2015) it seems they had just one lady with apparently too many responsibilities handling reservations. Once we did get ahold of her she was very nice and very accomodating.
There's a variety of site types, but most are heavily landscaped and very attractive. Some are on water, most are not. - JMonroe
May 2014 - $40.00
Excellent paved, level sites. Water, sewer, and electric worked well. Beautiful pools, showers, and clubhouse. The reservation office is hard to contact. Clerk wasn't always in during posted office hours. Had to make four calls to reach her. Entry gates are problematic when entering with a motorhome and tow car. Overall, a great resort with attractive individually decorated sites. Easy access from interstate. - User3617
Mar 2016 - $38.00
This park is past it's prime. Dirty, grass is unkempt, old exercise room has rusted equipment. Mostly seasonal campers who have been coming for 30 yrs. We would not return. Rate is based on monthly stay. - Bunci
May 2015 - $42.00
They refused to offer us the off season 50% Passport America rate even though they are listed in the Passport America catalog.
The super-site we stayed on was plenty large and concrete at 100 ft long, and wide spacing between sites, but few if any trees to provide shade.
The bath house was clean and modern, but poorly ventilated with no air conditioning and very small cubicles for showers. They did have a door for privacy, but a shelf that could only hold a pair of sunglasses.
They advertise WiFi at the sites, but even with nobody here, the signal was super slow and weak. The clubhouse did have a computer and printer for use, and the WiFi at the clubhouse was good.
The clubhouse was large and modern with a small library and an exercise room. The pool and spa were fairly large and clean. Their brochure advertises a non regulation 9 hole golf course at the front of the property, but all we saw was a field of overgrown weeds.
The park is directly north of the power station, and it can clearly be heard day and night. If you want to go anywhere from here, you have to get on the expressway and drive for about 20 minutes. There really is nothing around here to look at or visit. The beach is a good 50 minute drive, with no traffic. It is a good place for an overnight stop if you are traveling.
We would not stay here again. The off-season rate of $42 a night was overpriced and not worth it. - RobtK
Apr 2015 - $35.00
We got to the park the last week of March so it was full, we took the last spot in the "supersites" area. Plenty of room for our 44' toy hauler with both the side & back patios open & our truck to park on the all concrete site with room under our awning for the motorcycle - still on the concrete.
The full timers that lived there year around as well as the snowbirds down for 2-6mo. were all very nice, friendly, & accepting of us. The staff were wonderful, helpful, & friendly! Once the park started to clear out with people heading back home, we asked to move to a new site for a better view & we were told "not a problem." Great place! - Lisanator
May 2013 - $32.00
This is an old park in a rundown neighborhood. You can hear gunshots at night. The manager is very abusive and likes to flash his handgun, threatening, and downright mean. He likes to brag about how much money he has. He keeps folks deposits when he shouldn't.. There is a big problem with anything left in your yard getting stolen since the park refuses to install a gate. Many of the mobile homes are empty and abandoned. The laundry is run down, the pool has been deemed unsafe by the city. No WiFi or cable. No services except a small area for your dog to be loose. . The RV sites are small and the roads are narrow. I only stayed here because other parks were full. I worked nights and slept during the day and there was loud loud construction of a school next door with diesel smoke from trucks and equipment and very noisy, Constant noise from sirens and traffic. I stayed 5 months. - Ms Mary
Mar 2012 - $32.00
Older dated park, sites clean, many full time older residents. Very friendly owners, great bark park with showers for the dogs. Quiet, yet handy to main street shopping. - pkunk
Feb 2012 - $30.00
Over all a nice place - Yes is is/was a mobile home park that is using blank sites for RVs and perimeter sites for RVs as well. The roads were narrow ans I was lucky to be at an intersection so I could maneuver my 35' fiver in to the site w/ ease. Manager & wife are great people and very friendly. The maintain man was there in an instant and trimmed a tree in no time, to keep it off the side & top of the camper. Hard to estimate the ratio of RVs to Mobile homes but there were quite a few RVs that looked to be setting down roots and soon to become a part of the place as well as the mobile homes (though mobile is hardly the term I'd use to describe them. Traffic noise to be expected being right off a 4+ lane main drag through town (an EMS - Fire station was in the nearby area). Very easy to reach the interstate, as well as cycle into the downtown and see the Edison/Ford estates for a good afternoon. Might use this again - will keep in mind - maybe to try for a work camper position one year. Though no WI-FI, my Verizon air card worked well. Cable TV was a service you have to arrange - not worth it for just a week. - D Ward
May 2016 - $45.00
park was good now it is better than good. they have done many upgrades to the roads and park. There is a real nice area to walk dogs with two cages dog exercise areas so they can run free just watch for fire ants. Pool and laundry room were well maintained. it was a nice stay here and we will stay again. easy on and off the highway as well. We were brought around in a golf cart to pick our site as well. - cbrew
Mar 2016 - $50.00
We have been at this park in previous years and really enjoyed our stay. This year a beautiful new pool with splash pad and waterfall and underwater stereo has been added. I might suggest that the music stay off until later in the day than starting early morning, as I enjoyed just listening to the waterfall. However, this year has been somewhat disappointing due to the noise of multiple leaf blowers. Staff need to use their leaf blowers to clean the park, but then every camper has one and it does seem a little excessive. Plus we happen to be next to a very loud neighbour, verbally and who likes to run the leaf blower several times a day. Also, we did have an electrical outage one afternoon, multiple campers were without power, but once reported it was addressed immediately by the electrician at the park. - RVParkReviewsfromCL
Jul 2015 - $40.00
First off, this is a snowbird park, so in season it is full capacity and expensive. 1200 a month+elec. We stayed from 3-1-15 through 8-1-15. The park is very nice and clean and the folks are friendly. There is a nice nature trail for walking along with a nice Gym, and rec room. They were installing the new pool and it wasn't finished before we left, but it was going to be a walk in style pool. Sites are great. Level, clean, all hookups. Wifi is sketchy at best. Its was constant struggle while we were there. Depending on location of your site you may or may not have access. And even with a good signal its constantly losing internet connection. Overall though it is a nice park and close to everything Lee County has to offer. - Mikele
Mar 2016 - $53.00
I really liked this park. Mostly older snow birds. Very quiet ad friendly people. My only complaint is that the roads are small and even with my 24 ft trailer it was a little tight on the roads getting in. Getting out was,no problem at all. We would stay here again. - ELamb
Jan 2016 - $56.00
Spaces were built for 25-30' trailers years ago. 40' motorhomes or 5th wheelers should not be accepted. No gravel on the sites. We are sitting in a sea of mud right now. The ruts have eroded away next to the pad so the coach sits down in a hole and the mud makes it hard to level. I would not stay here again. - FriarBill
Mar 2015 - $1.00
Park is located with easy access off I-75. Mainly permanent sites with some RV spaces around the park. We were put in a site that required me to drive in and butt up to a trailer that was in front of me. Hookups required a second 15 foot sewer hose to reach hookup. Good 50 amp power and water pressure remained stable. Grassy site with picnic table on concrete patio, but these were showing there age and heavy usage. Grocery stores, RV Dealerships all within 15 minutes. Interior roads are narrow and tight. - Tomandgloria
Jan 2009 - $30.00
When we talked on the phone, they made the place seem like a great RV Resort. Arriving on a Sunday, as per our reservation, the office was closed (2:30 PM) They had an emergency number listed, but it was answered by a fax machine. We picked out a site a proceeded to park & setup. When backing a water pipe, next to the road, was broken, but could not report it to the fax machine. Basically this a Trailer Park, with no amenities, that one would expect at an RV resort. I'm trying o be nice, but this place is a dump. - Chef
Feb 2014 - $20.00
Ok..when we pulled into the park we were really disappointed because of the old mobile homes parked in this park. Our comment was "this is where old mobile homes come to die". But, we were scheduled here for 2 weeks so we just parked and thought we would make the best of it. Turns out we had a great time and the people were friendly and the laundry had the newest washer/dryers I've seen in a long time and only $1.25 per load, but only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Our spot had a concrete (space 70) patio fairly good sized but overlooked backside of old, added on trailer but no one was looking into our unit so we felt private. Best news was the internet worked just great (4-5 bars)and it was free and could use it in our RV. Direct TV worked great also. Quiet park, not any children around that I saw. Only 1 block from grocery store was great too. Not the 'richest' part of North Ft. Myers but we felt safe and okay. Great place to stay cheaply (Passport America rates) and be centrally located to visit all the sites and beaches around the area. So, looks can be deceiving sometimes. - kemosabe
Feb 2012 - $17.00
Passport America rate is $17 including tax. Older mobile home/rv park in a very quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. Park is very neat and clean and well maintained. There are older units but they are neat. People were very quiet and friendly. The manager lives on site and is very helpful. We were in a pull-through next to the office and had good Wi-Fi. There are sites for 40' rigs and back in sites with shade. The laundry was small but convenient and the least costly I have found on this trip. It is pet friendly for small dogs on leashes. It is only 4 miles into Fort Meyers. Hook-ups were good. Shopping plaza with grocery and other shops within walking distance. No cable TV but lots of stations with antenna. Roads are paved. There is a community room with TV, pool table, book exchange, and kitchen available. Would stay here again. - mvano
Jan 2011 - $17.00
This park is a little rough around the edges. However, it is a real value during the snowbird season with our Passport America discount. There are quite a few older permanent units with about half of them looking pretty rough. The people in the park, however, were as welcoming and pleasant as could be, and I felt generally comfortable here. The manager was easy to work with and accommodating. It is an older park, however, it was clean and quiet being at the end of the road. Don't look for extras at this park. However, it did have a clean and well kept laundry facility with two washers and two dryers, so don't expect to do all your laundry at one time. WI-FI like at many parks was only available when next to the office. - bandirector
Jan 2016 - $30.00
Small, but quiet. Gravel roads with level grass spots, all older run down mobile homes. Owners are nice and friendly. No amenities but the price was right. - esta34950
