.We bought a new RV from Lazy Days. We were perked a 2 week stay at any Encore travel park so we chose this one. The lots are barely long enough for a 40' RV with a tow or towed vehicle. We had to park our truck under our RV and was still partly on the street. The width of the lots are 9' with no patio area. When we arrived we needed to have limbs and shrubs trimmed to get backed in far enough to try to make room for the truck. The workers arrived to do the job quickly, but did not remove the debris, rather just piled it on top of the palmettos that they did not cut. We had several power surges with outages. The sewer caps are so far back, that you may need a long sewer hose to reach. Some of the lots, though paved, are caved in which would make it a challenge to put your jacks down, or level if your wheels are in a hole. They had many empty lots but we were not given a choice. We were parked near the side of the interstate and could hear the traffic with our windows shut and the AC running. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice and helpful staff. Some what narrow site but not too many campers here, so it wasn't a problem. No cable but antenna picked up a lot.

Set up portable dish easily. Small library and swapped some books. Some permanents that appear to work locally. Well kept. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We got the three-month rate through Thousand Trails, for $1500 for three months. That was a great price. The staff was pleasant.

The water at this park is horrendous. You can't drink it, or cook with it. We had to put our dogs on purified water because every time they drink the (park) water, they got sick.

The pool was never warm enough and staff refused to turn the heat up just a little bit more.

The dog park covered a nice area but it wasn't totally fenced around, so dogs could get out to the expressway if they wandered thru some brush.

We had to pay for electricity and it was very expensive through Florida Power & Lighting.

We averaged $70 per month which is more than we pay at home.

The grounds were maintain pretty well.

Would we stay here again? Probably but not for three months: two weeks tops.

(Lot spacing was nearby with some shade. Site surface was a concrete pad.) We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Was here for 3 months via Thousand Trails special rate $1499. That was good, the rest not so much. Water was horrible, if it wasn't off to fix bursted pipes. Staff was fine. Seasonal Campers very clickish & not friendly to new campers. Wi-fi worked at clubhouse until last month when they changed providers & then couldn't get it at all. Were not helpful in troubleshooting. Will not return for 3 months for sure. Had to go to Comcast for digital box & pay for $50 service call to connect; and then call FL power & light to create account--very expensive rates. Neighbor kept 2 large dogs tied to railings all day, never walked, pooped in yard and scared people and dogs walking by. Felt horrible for dogs. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two weeks - first week with Coast to Coast and second week with Passport America. Our site was a back in - concrete, level and fairly spacious with a concrete pad for our picnic table. Electric and septic were good and close by; good water pressure. They also have 30 and 50amp and can accommodate all size rigs. They have full time residents and welcome overnighters. They have park models for the snow birds. They do have cable with minimal stations and WiFi is through Tengo Internet. They have two rec centers and tons of activities for the guests; good size pool; shuffleboard; mini golf and horseshoes. It is family friendly but does not have a playground for children. It is also pet friendly with a huge (about an acre) fenced dog park with shade, picnic tables, small pool and water dish for the dogs. The park is conveniently located on Hwy 512 right next to I-95 and is close to Sebastian and about 1-1/2 hours from Orlando. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

It is very close to Sebastian State Park and AIA with the McLarty Treasure and Mel Fisher museums on AIA and Hwy 1. There is a walkway for bike riding or walking, and a public shooting range just down the street. Indian River Drive in Sebastian has restaurants and a place to walk along with River. It is about 1-1/2 hours from Orlando. Also, Winn Dixie and Publix are just down the street and there is a Walmart and Goodwill on Hwy 1.

The site was a little tight for our 35 ft. travel trailer. We actually started out on a different site, but moved because of the trees that blocked reception of our satelite dish. We wanted to stay a little longer, but they were so full and had a group coming in, so we couldn't stay. Several times when we tried to call the office there was no answer. When we would walk or drive to the office there was someone there. Don't know why they wouldn't answer the phone. The campground was crowded due to the snow birds. They seemed to always have activities going on. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here one night. Very easy on easy off of I-95,definitely a convenient stop. Our pull thru for 40' was fine but no one was next to us. People were friendly. Nice area for dogs to play. Laundry room was pricey especially because you had to purchase a $2 card. Office hours are very limited (closed on weekend). Trash disposal was limited to behind the office, which was a distance for us. Park is clean and neat. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A pretty nice older park. One row of sites backs up to I95 and would be noisy, avoid those if possible. The sites were narrow, short and not quite level. There is no landscape barrier between sites. The park is about 35-40% mobile homes. The pool was nice. Gated entrance, so security seemed very good. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I don't know about the resort name, but it is pretty nice. Site narrow with paving and grass. Passport price and we got a very good site. Pool and grounds well kept. No Wi-Fi or cable. Used the satellite, but the antenna might have worked. Office staff very helpful. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice RV resort! We stayed here for one night on our way home from the Florida Keys. The office was closed when we arrived, but they left out directions, and we were able to find our site quickly and easily. The roads and sites are concrete - the sites are long but narrow. The landscaping is gorgeous, and there is plenty of open space so you don't feel cramped like in many Florida campgrounds. The only reason I didn't give this a "10" is because the resort backs up to I-95 and the traffic noise is very annoying. I wish we could have stayed longer - we will definitely be back! If you have a camping membership, they put you in one of their tighter, not so desirable sites. We were hemmed in on both sides by park models. Very little room for sitting out, wish we had pushed for better site, they were available. Small pool, but pretty. Lots of park models and long term residents. Older park. Not far from the beaches at all, about 30 minutes. Great kayaking around the Wabasso Causeway. Roads inside the park in need of repair. No problems with MiFi or AT & T cell signals. It was a Saturday morning when we called the park for reservations. We got an answering machine that said the office was open only on Mon thru Fri but you can make reservations at their home office number. I made reservations for the night and proceeded three hours to the cg. My name was not on any of the reservation packets, but they had some made up for any latecomers, so I took one of those. The main office said I would get my discount when I arrived, but since they don't work on Saturday or Sunday, I probably will be charged full price. The Wi-Fi will cost you $4.95 for 4 hrs, but McDonald's is close by so it's OK. They tell you if you don't like getting stung by the numerous fire ants, then you can go to the store and buy some fire ant killer. I am a Good Sam member and passport America, and I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Sunshine Travel RV Resort for two weeks and enjoyed our stay. Most of the sites are a little too small, but they are angled so that helps. There are many activities to participate in, just be sure you sign up in advance. It's a perfect place to walk and ride bikes. The area is loaded with things to do, most important is there are many great beaches located within a short drive from the Resort. A major downside to the resort is that it is located right beside I-95. The traffic on 95 never stops and certainly doesn't slow down. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
