1 Park near Wabasso, Florida
May 2016 - $30.00
We recently visited to do a little fishing. I was able to put my Flats boat in at the Wabbasso Causeway (about a mile). We also visited the beach (not much farther). We had visited a few years back and were pleasantly surprised to see the upgrades. The roads have been recently paved. My wife enjoyed riding her bicycle around the park. The pool area had new furniture and we were told that a new brick paver deck is coming (that will be nice). Our site had an asphalt gravel driveway along with a new concrete pad. From what I saw most of the sites are set up like this. Most of the park is covered with an oak hammock so the shade was nice.
The bath & shower facilities were very clean. The staff was very courteous.
We went to Captain Hirams to see some live music (not far).
We had a great trip and will return. - Summertimers

Avoid this park at all costs. The owners are milking it for every penny they can get out of it. The laundry facility is terrible. The grass doesn't get cut too often, and the noseeums can just about carry you away. The laundry facility is terrible and the swimming pool is ice cold. There is a lot of swampy land in the park.
The owners must also have a construction business because they store all their equipment on the premises and it's very noisy at times. - Bobk816

This park could be great if it were cleaned up an the owners were not so rude. The work campers are wonderful but you can feel the tension as the owners have a very funny way of making them do things. Water pressure good, easy access for big rigs shaded lots. Laundry room kept as clean as possible for an open air laundry. Four top loaders an two dryers are really old and dirty. There are four front loaders along with four dryers that are newer. Be careful with the front loaders they do not keep the rubber door boot cleaned out. We found candy, ink pens, an who knows what else stuck in the boot. These are things that go through the cycle with your clothes. We choose to do our wash in our small W/D in our rig because of this. There is NO wifi even though the web site says there is. When we asked about the wifi we were told that it is really just a hot spot and you need to sit in the laundry room or office to get it. There are four mobile homes in the front by the pool along with one in the back that are in very poor condition. The roofs on some are literally falling in. These are rented out weekly to some less then desirables who hang out at the pool drinking an cursing at their kids. There are old non functioning RV's to the back of the park some with trees growing in them. If you call to make a reservation an they refuse to give you a site number beware. Their policy is to not refuse anyone. So you don't know if you will be in the grassy field at the back that floods with no pad. Or in a rock paved lot with a pad. If you book for an extended stay you may have to play musical sites over the term of your stay. If they give you a lot number ask if you will be able to put your awning out. Several sites have trees preventing you from putting out an awning. No grass was mowed during our week an some areas of the park the grass was 10" 12" high or better an these were lots with guests there. One woman who is there for the winter purchased her own push mower to keep her lot mowed. Ants, ants, ants, spray around your lot they won't spray. Make sure to be using your surge protector! There are a lot of power surges. The owners run some sort of construction business out of the park so be prepared to hear heavy equipment coming and going. I usually don't go into such detail about a park. But wanted people to beware of what they may book into. Some travel great distances to winter in beautiful Florida, if you get here an it is not what you expected it can be difficult to find another park in the area as they book up fast. If the owners got their act together, stopped looking down their noses at guests, cleaned up their park, got the eye sores out ie; old trailers an RVs and they kept up on the place this could very well be one of the best parks in the area. It seems they have the bad McDonald's on the interstate attitude, " Quality of service don't matter because new people just keep coming". - Noah_Genda
