This park is so beautiful, the owners keep doing improvments every summer . It is a beautiful place to visit in the summer with plenty of shade from the beautiful oak trees. The pool is spectacular. The sites are very clean and ready for you to relax and enjoy. The winters are so nice here the weather is perfect. The workampers are very nice and they are eager to help anyone with anything they need. The showers and restrooms are very clean. The laundry room is also clean. Come to Vero Beach kamp and enjoy your camping experience with the best. There is nothing like a fun camping experience I give this Kamp a 10 without a doubt. - Gerri_Norm123-- Theiss

All of the new upgrades are awesome!!!! The new pool deck. The asphalt roads, etc.
Great staff. Great owners. And the new wifi system ROCKS!!!
Will definitely be staying here again. We stay in Florida annually and this is our new favorite spot. - airstreamlover

Loved my visit!!! Real nice family atmosphere under a canopy of beautiful Live Oak Trees!! Workampers complete the extended family feeling -- since I understand the park has been family-owned for over 30 years (and continually improving). Can't beat the RV Park's location -- right between tropical Sebastian and fun-packed Vero Beach!! Just 5 minutes away from gorgeous, relaxing beaches and Sebastian Inlet!!! Next time we'll bring the boat and stay longer. - Cuddlezz

This is a very clean, immaculately kept and VERY well run gem of a park, nestled directly on the Indian River, with views that will take your breath away. Looking for a place to bring your RV and enjoy a quiet, restful, and quaint "Old Florida" type town? Pelican's Landing has it. Looking for a place to bring your boat or kayak, and leave it right at a boat slip on premise? Pelican's Landing has it. Looking for a place where you can enjoy spectacular sunrises that you'll never forget? Pelican's Landing has it. The only problem we encountered at Pelican's Landing was that we didn't want to leave! We originally booked our stay for a week.....we ended up staying for a month. If you're in the area, please don't miss this place. If you're not in the area, find a way to get there. You won't regret it. Thanks to the staff. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated. Pelican's Landing is "first class" in every way. - Ken and Debbie K
Mar 2016 - $65.00
Pelican's Landing trailer park is expensive for what it has to offer. Although the sites are wide and it is on the intercoastal. It is definitely not a 5 star. WiFi does not work; water pressure is poor; water at times has a terrible swampy smell; and cable TV offered by the park is the bare minimum.
The laundry facility only provides cold water, and the machines are not dependable. There are no camp showers. There is no pool. The noise level from the trains (they run 24/7 and frequently day & night) and garbage pickup (5:30 AM 4 times a week) is quite disturbing.
Management lacks people skills .
Now having said all that we did spend 4 seasons there as campers in our own RV. Almost all of the other campers were and are quite wonderful and we made a lot of great friends.
The camp ground became very expensive and totally unpredictable in their administration and varying policies, so we found another place that better suits our needs. - FB Hannemann
Sep 2015 - $120.00
We rented a mobile home "cabin" for 3 nights, and paid for dock tie up for 3 days . The cabins are very well furnished but the water smells awful. That rotten egg smell whenever you use the hot water is very unpleasant, and after taking a shower, you don't feel clean. We did not use the dock tie up because the stormy weather each night made me fearful my boat might get swamped. We had an automobile accident on the third day and left a day early as I wanted to have the repairs made as soon as possible. The back of my SUV was damaged and leaked whenever it rained. I asked for a refund for the third day and for the 3 days I was unable to use the dock tie up. Management said their policy was NO REFUNDS period! So, if you have a problem or an emergency, don't expect any consideration. - robert407
Mar 2017 - $55.00
Nice park. Swimming pool very spacious. Laundry room clean and spacious. Site accommodated our 45' coach. Tow car had to be parked at an angle to fit on site. Staff friendly and helpful. - 450 LXi
Mar 2017 - $55.00
Very clean park with nicely paved roads. No cable or wifi. - Bigs wife
Sep 2016 - $19.00
This is an Encore park. All sites have concrete pad but nearly every one is cracked and needing total replacement. Staff is good. Small pool and miniture golf but it needs some work. Very heavy rains caused storm draibs to clog and flooding occurred. This park was convienent to Vero Beach and served our purpose. Like other Encore patks, many permanent units and park models. Right off I 95 but road noise not disturbing. Wifi $, not free cable. - venice
Feb 2017 - $22.00
We had campsite #8 which has a lovely water view. Really enjoyed our stay but the park has lots of bugs. Be sure to bring the DEET as you will need it. - Dale T
May 2016 - $15.00
Arrived at our site which we reserved 11 months in advance to find our neighbor had set up their chairs and tables on our site in the shade because their site had no shade. We asked a passing park ranger what we should do. He said he would remove the equipment and take it back to the ranger station because it looked like no one what home on their site - no car, all shades drawn. The ranger loaded the equipment into his golf cart and as he was pulling away a guy explodes out of the camper swearing a blue streak and calling us and the ranger every name in the book. The ranger told us to go back into our rig which we did immediately. The guy continued to argue and threaten the ranger, and the ranger told him numerous times their equipment was on our site and that was not OK. After 10 more minutes of loud arguing the ranger left while with the equipment still sat right next to our site, and the guy goes back in his camper. We think the guy should have been thrown out of the campground.
My wife and I decided we would not stay anywhere in this park in case this guy came after us. We pulled up stakes, left the site, and went to the office to ask for a refund. We were told our money would be refunded but never received it.
After this scary experience and no refund we will not return to this campground.
We've been RVing for 20 years. I don't know what's happening to the RV world, but we have witnessed similar "rage incidents" in the last four months where people go ballistic over small matters in campgrounds. We've had one other incident ourselves and have observed numerous others.
So please folks, stay on your own site, be considerate of others in every way, and relax! - Phaetonman
Mar 2016 - $28.00
We stayed 7 nights. The park is isolated from city amenities. It is 15 miles from dining and shops. It was difficult to sit outside with all the bugs. We need a screen room. Fishing was good everywhere, the beach, the inlet, the piers and all over. We always saw people catching fish. It took about 1 hour for someone to fill a 5 gallon bucket with fish.
Lot spacing was nearby with some shade. Site surface was gravel and features a fire ring and picnic table. - Beas
Mar 2016 - $25.00
As other reviewers have said this is a very large snowbirds park. Due to our late booking (last October) the only space left was a back-in at the back of the park near the railroad. There was a $50 discount for being near the railroad. Our site was small but adequate for our 36ft trailer plus tow truck.
There are many activities should you choose to join in plus 2 good sized swimming pools. Staff were very pleasant as were our neighbours and folks we met. Shops and beaches all in reasonable distance and very good. Downside is wifi is only available at the office/mailroom but connection is very good there. We took the Comcast package which is a personal modem for $40 PM which worked exceptionally well. We have only rated it 6 due to our site but we do recommend this RV park and advise very early booking as many of the residents return each year. for overnighters there are pull thru sites at the front of the park. - Harris England
Mar 2015 - $40.00
Clean park. It's a bit of a large mega park. If you are staying nightly or weekly, you will most likely be put into sites that are like a parking lot. We felt surrounded by RV's and sitting outside was like being squished by them. Lots a seasonals here with really nice places and nice RV sites in the middle, interspersed with mobile homes.
We were in lot 12, a pull-thru, for a week. Glad it was no longer. But on a positive side, excellent location to see sights and a beautiful drive to Vero Beach along the island road. Only five miles to beautiful beaches too. Great waterfront restaurants in town.
Lady at checkout seemed to do just what she had to do. We had to ask about good Sam discount, and if there were any activities, and then if we could get a calendar of them. Lots of activities. Not too many RV resorts around Sebastian so this is probably the one to stay at. Ask to be in middle of sites. On the West side trains go by and they are close to the tracks! - User3092
Nov 2014 - $23.00
We stayed for a month and would certainly stay again. The park is huge and is mostly mobile homes and park models but they are well-maintained and the people are very friendly. The streets are all paved and level. Our site was around the little lake and there was a nice breeze every day. The only drawback is the location of the park. It is right next to a main road so there is a lot of traffic noise if you are at the front and there is a train if you are situated at the back. However, the location itself is very good with the beach and restaurants close by. - Sheena123
Jul 2017 - $32.00
We had a back-in waterfront site that was long enough for our rig, but ended up not being very wide. The electric and water hookups are "shared" between two sites and since we were on the right of the hookups we had to park close enough for our electric and water hose to fit under our rig to the hookups. As a result, this did not allow for as much room as we would have liked for our patio area. Our site was next to a large, beautiful tree which provided welcome shade. The root system from the tree was raised out of the ground and made it bothersome walking and for placing our patio. The sites are sand and our site was not level at all. There was a nice opening between the mangroves for us to put our kayak in the water. Bring bug spray... the minute you walk near the mangrove trees you will get attacked by mosquitoes. Overall we enjoyed our stay with the water for fishing and kayaking and beach access. One odd experience during our stay... we went out to dinner one night, and upon our return our fire ring was gone. Our next door neighbor had a fire going, so we asked if they took our ring. They said they did. They left the next morning and never bothered to return the ring. We thought this was a bit rude. We were told by another camper that this park used to be a state park and since the county took it over it is not kept up quite as well. We would stay here again, however we would be sure our site would be on the left side of the hookup station. - Golfgirl
Apr 2017 - $28.00
We spent three nights here and enjoyed our stay, although it was very windy almost the entire time and we just a little bit of a severe thunderstorm that mostly passed to the south of the campground. Our dog, on a leash of course, really enjoyed the very large grassy area in the middle of the campground. We backed our trailer up to an opening in the mangroves and had a lovely view out our large rear window of the Indian River. The back of our trailer was no more than six feet from the water. We saw dolphins swim by, some very close, every day. The staff seemed to stay very busy trimming grass, picking up litter, etc., and were very friendly. We were there from Tuesday until Friday and while the campground was pretty full it was quiet. Fellow campers were polite and friendly. While we did not use the restrooms or showers, my wife did go into one of the older restrooms and said that while it was getting a bit long in the tooth it was very clean. Our picnic table looked old, weathered and stained. We had good Verizon signal and LTE. We recommend this campground. - bfisher003
Mar 2017 - $28.00
This park has many waterfront sites and is close to Sebastian Inlet so it fills up fast. We had a site on the water but the mangroves blocked any view. This was our first camping trip in our new travel trailer so we were mainly checking out how everything functioned and learning the ropes. I had been to the park before as a day tripper and enjoyed fishing there, and that seems to be the main recreational activity along with kayaking. We brought our dog who was allowed everywhere in Long Point, but when we went to Sebastian State Park she was only allowed in the parking lot, so no beach, no jetty, no docks, etc. She doesn't do well being alone so we just hung out at camp. Our site was small and the ground was rather uneven, and of course the utilities were on the wrong side of the camper, something we first-timers didn't consider when making reservations. There is no shade and no barriers of any kind between sites so you will get to know your neighbors. Bath house was ok, there were several in the park but we only used the one closest. There is a boat ramp and dock, and a bridge that goes to an island that is nice for a short walk or wade fishing. Some of the larger RV sites have sewer, but most sites do not. If we stayed here again I would try to get a site on open water because the view is amazing. - Daisy Jetstar
Mar 2016 - $21.00
Great people and we have a great site. Very nice area and the park is well managed. Very close to shopping and the beach. - Michael and Shirley Engle
Dec 2012 - $35.00
First, I would not pay too much attention to the "3" rating unless you are hauling a bunch of toys. We have a 40' MH and a toad. We only stayed 4 nights and were placed on a large site that used to house a trailer/Park model; among the other trailers. No RV's in sight... It was fine! Neighbors were friendly and hook-ups worked. The Wi-Fi was too far away but the Verizon data and cell was great. The location is close to Vero Beach and Ft. Pierce. Shopping abounds. They do have an area just for RV's; maybe for the monthly rentals? In any case, no complaints and we would stay here again. - Kokomo
Jul 2012 - $35.00
We have spent 2 years at Tanglewood but will never come back. We were told we could not have our boat or anything else on our lot. It's double standards when the president of the community can have his motorhome on his lot but no one else can have campers, trailers, car dollies, boats, or any thing extra on their lots. There are plenty of other places around the Vero Beach area that welcome campers and their toys. - kgkaroonie
Mar 2014 - $19.00
Very friendly, laid back older campground. Manager goes out of his way to foster interaction between long term and short term guests. We barely parked and were urged to come for potluck. Also we enjoyed a free cooking lesson and wine tasting, and invitation to play bridge, etc. Grassy pull thru was levelnand wide with concrete patio and drained well during heavy rainstorm. Heading northbound on Route 1 in or out of the park is tricky with the divided highway. Also trains run close by. - nonadonna
Nov 2012 - $20.00
The manager tried to make us happy, but barking dogs in front and back of us tend to make us unhappy. The cable didn't work. The facilities were not clean. Trains, planes, and automobiles but we got use to that. Could not get use to barking dogs. The fishing pier across from park and a boat ramp 1 1/2 miles away were the only good things about this park. - kgkaroonie
Jan 2012 - $30.00
If you like hearing airplanes, automobiles, and trains, this place is for you. 24/7 the noise never stops. The park is right on US 1, a four lane highway with 24 hours traffic. The railroad track is right behind the park, I mean right outside the park fence, and runs 24/7. We literally were shaken awake in the night by these trains. There is an airport approximately a mile away and these planes fly all day long right over the park. They are people learning to fly. The water is terrible and not drinkable, we had to buy all of our water in spite of the fact we had 2 water filters on our unit. The laundry and club house are dirty. The park is dirty, trash, not mowed, etc. The manager even came around one day and wanted us to pay $45.00 to have our site sprayed for bugs. Can you imagine? But true. The Wi-Fi service is not free, don't be fooled. We would never stay here again or recommend that anyone else does either. - bsnmobs
Jul 2017 - $39.00
Requested site facing north so we had the breeze from the Indian River. Sites seemed to have been designed for older rigs with no slides. Our site was narrow but the site next to us was vacant so that helped. There was no room for a picnic table which we didn't have anyway. There were larger sites but we were in a pull through. The people were friendly. There was a 4th of July pot luck there we attended. The view of the Indian River was terrific. Twenty minute drive to the most beautiful un crowded beaches with parking that easily accommodated our truck. For overnight this would be fine. - TailsAwagging
Jun 2017 - $65.00
Currently staying here, working on contract, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Good cable TV, lots of OTA channels, great WiFi, stream anything you want. Staff is attentive but not overbearing, people leave you alone. Lots of stores close by and a little restaurant/bar is close by. I would recommend this place for short or long term. - Doc Naylor
Mar 2017 - $40.00
We were at the end of the row with rr tracks less than 100 feet away. They blow the whistle all night. Park was okay otherwise but had lots of permanent residents. - hug448844
Feb 2017 - $35.00
The site that was given to us was just the right size for a 37 foot motorhome; all of the facilities were good and this is very quiet campground. The only area that needs upgrading is their site allocation system; I think their computer dates back to the 80's, so much so, that the staff uses a wall-mounted board for site availability. - chester 2016
Jan 2017 - $36.00
Price reflects monthly rate with electricity being extra. This is a decent park with most amenities you would expect at a resort including pool, clubhouse, store, cafe, tennis court, shuffleboard, and laundry. Between 40 and 50 percent of residents are French Canadian who do not seem to be very friendly. We did not join any scheduled activities because everything we saw, people were speaking French and we didn't really feel very welcome. Most sites are grass and/or weeds with a concrete picnic slab. Our site was weeds only with no pad, but we put our mat out for the month to keep dirt out of our RV. Our site was level with 50 amp FHU, back in. All sites are back-in except for a few pull thrus for short term stays. Wi-fi is hit and miss. Worked sporadically, but was not reliable. - krb
Jan 2017 - $30.00
Stayed here a month. Our site was very roomy. The people here are nice. The store is handy. The restaurant is very good. The bathrooms are immaculate. The laundry facilities are really good with plenty of machines for washing and drying and the store stocks quarters! They have a lot of activities going on every day during the winter months. Being in northern Ft. Pierce area, it's only 8 miles to Vero Beach. I will return here again next year. - Lnskaye
